Absolutely love Ingles!!! My wife and I are relocating to the area, and it's so refreshing to see how much the Ingles staff value their customers. Whenever I ask where to find something, I'm always greeted with a smile and genuine conversation. Great job creating a culture where your employees still value human interaction -- something that sadly seems to be disappearing in most stores these days. They even carry Sclafani products! I grew up on this brand, and it's hard to find outside the NY/NJ/CT tri-state area. My first time in this store, might've even been my first in an Ingles ever. The second I walked in the first that hit me was how great the lighting was. Many of the shelves seemed lower than other stores as well. The whole store was completely conditioned (items pulled to the front of the shelf). Always shopped here since moving to Ga 17 years ago but I give up now for sure. I am staying with Publix. Ingles prices have always been ok, but now along with the service and staff nope! Deli is horrible, they won't look at you standing there in case they might have to wait on you. When I finally get one of the many to come over he left part of the wrapping on and my son choked on it. I can't deal with the shi***y service anymore. I'm a Publix supper now. By the way management doesn't listen either, like they say learn by example! read more

Hand on the BIBLE honest! The lunch hot bar at this place is AMAZING! The rotisserie chicken salad here is the best. You can literally sample anything on their hot bar, asian bar, or bulk salad bar. The entire deli staff and 80% of the store has been with the company for years! They are a huge part of the community! I love it here. read more

Love Ingles market prices but please get better cooks for the hot food section, and that's from Fayette County to Carroll County. They can't cook at ALL. Rice over cooked. Gravy is water. I wonder when hiring do they look for cook experience or just through anyone on hot foods lol. Please do better! read more

Sold me a coconut with mold in it!!! The cantaloupe was a weird pinkish color and not at all good tasting. The only good thing that came out of that store was the prepackaged breakfast shake. read more

I normally wouldn't review a grocery store but this is a very high quality Ingles! I live in Kennesaw so I don't usually do any shopping in Cartersville but let me just say I'm jealous. The prepared foods, nut section, deli, and bakery here are very impressive and the prices are affordable. I came in for the Starbucks and ended up buying a couple things and eating lunch here, lol. The bathroom was clean too which is another plus. read more

The manager Jerry Krull is beyond rude to customers.I felt very intimidated by him when I simply asked where a product was. What is even more shocking is the number of complaints about him on this forum going back to 2017! Do better Ingles.It seems that the cashiers and stock people are eager to help but the managers need a major over haul! At least this one does. read more

MANAGEMENT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT INFECTIOUS DISEASES!!! My cousin works at ingles and has been diagnosed with pinkeye whuch is highly contagious. The dr wrote him off for 3 days and the boss is more worried about getting product out instead of public safety so right before christmas my cousin is working with pinkeye in ingles... go elsewhere cuz they dint care if you get it or not read more

This is a good and large grocery store. It's always been pretty clean and well sorted out when I've been there. Produce is good for freshness, average for selection (compared to a similarly sized competing grocery store). The check-out process is about average as well - better than Kroger, less good than Publix, I'd estimate, based on my wait time and the number of check-out lanes open. In this area, this is a good bet for the deep selection of products, decent prices, and good service. read more

Wish we had these down here in south Florida. They would put a hurting on Publix for sure. This is what a market should be. Their deli is awesome, and cooked foods. I had lunch here a few times. They have excellent selection of organic and healthy foods in their store, excellent bakery, they even have fudge that is out of this world. Bulk food department is awesome. Huge selection of groceries. Hands down this is the BEST grocery chain ever!!!! read more

Why five stars? Because of the convenient layout of the store, a great produce section which includes organics, wonderful customer service, and a clean and well-maintained store. Though not a supermarket, this store does have a wonderful and diverse array of products. You might be surprised that it carries things like coconut milk, almond milk, and flaxseed milk. It also has some exotic grains like quinoa and amaranth and spelt. The prices are good too! They also have a pharmacy, and the pharmacists bend over backwards to answer questions about medications whether prescription or over-the-counter. I found more than I expected from Ingles. And I am a very happy customer. read more

Their "lower prices and high qualtiy" are simply not true. Of 3 regular wine brands I purchase at Publix, they were all significantly more at Ingles by approx 40% . One that is $9.99 was at 12.99, one that is 12.99 was at 17.99, and one that is 14.99 was 19.99!! these Ingles prices , these were the "discounted prices" you supposedly receive with the Ingles card. When it comes to meats, the same cuts between the 2 stores were much higher at Inlgles, and extremely tough from Ingles. Baby Back Pork ribs were $5.49 per lb at Ingles, and $4.89 per lb at Publix. Ingles ribs were so tough that we only picked at them - I believe it's because the Ingles ribs were from older pork (hogs vs pigs). In addition, the rib eye steaks purchased several months ago were very tough - again, older beef. Will not shop there unless desperate, but it's sad that many customers are fooled into thinking its cheaper but better qualtiy. Lastly, the plastic grocery bags tear up too easily. read more

Customer service is poor! Took back a bag of decaf coffee I purchased by mistake, but I didn't have a receipt. I actually bought two because they were on sale, but I picked up a decaf by mistake. I decided to return the 1 bag of decaf because I no longer needed the coffee because I had since bought some in bulk at Costco (which I usually do). I was told they do not do returns without receipts, only an exchange (which is a lie because my friend shops @Ingles regularly and she does small returns without receipts from time to time). So basically I ended up with an extra bag of coffee that I really didn't need. Thanks Ingles for your empathy and understanding. Next time I'll just send my friend from the 'caucasus'. She never gets a hard time. Hell they've even given her cash back. I didn't need cash, I just didn't need an extra back of coffee. But again, thanks Ingles for your inconsistent return policy and your disconnected employees. High prices and poor customer service is the reason I don't shop there often. This store is great and convenient for me. Last week I was in line behind a dad with 2 elementary school-age girls. He made talk with the cashier about how they were sick, had a fever, etc. By then I had people behind me and the cashier was starting to ring me up. Why would a parent bring 2 sick kids to the grocery store to spread germs to lord knows how many people? Now I have what he described that they have. If you are sick, or have sick little ones...send someone else to the store please. We don't all appreciate you sharing germs. Elderly people are certainly are far more risk. It's just irresponsible and not fair. I work from home so have limited exposure to germs-I only go to the store once a week. I dodged the bullet until this last week. I know the store can do nothing about it - I just wanted to say this here in case you are considering taking sick people to the grocery store with you. read more
