I was staying at a rehab facility and a doctor, Ezeekiel Adewale DO from Ingleside came into my room a few times to ask me about my condition. He was very nice but I assumed he was employed by the rehab facility. I was not aware that this was a separate charge. I resent getting an invoice for his 5 minute visits!! I have been a patient at Ingleside Medical for years and have generally had positive experiences, but my most recent visit was extremely disappointing and ultimately led me to wanting to switch providers. I visited the office for a routine annual exam and TB test required for my new job. As someone who has worked in the education field for many years, I am very familiar with this process and the required paperwork. During my first visit on a Tuesday, I met with the PA to complete my annual exam and received my TB test from the nurse. This visit was very positive--I felt comfortable, and both the PA and nurse were communicative and professional. As required, I returned 48 hours later on Thursday for the TB test reading and brought the necessary employment paperwork for completion. At that time, I was informed that the paperwork could not be completed because the PA who conducted my exam was not on site. I was asked to return another day to pick up the signed forms. While this was frustrating, I understood the need for appropriate signatures. A few days later, I received a call stating that my paperwork could not be completed without my immunization history and that I would need to return for additional immunizations. Although I was frustrated this was not identified during my initial visit, I scheduled a third appointment and returned the following week. At this third visit, I expected to either receive my completed paperwork or obtain any necessary immunizations. Instead, after waiting in the reception area, I was brought into an exam room near the entrance and was immediately instructed to prepare for a blood draw. This was unexpected and had not been previously communicated to me. As someone who has a history of fainting during blood draws, I typically prepare in advance when they are required. I asked the nurse for clarification, explaining that my paperwork did not indicate a need for blood work and that I had only been told I may need updated immunizations. The nurse responded briefly that it was required for my annual exam and left the room abruptly, leaving me seated with medical supplies exposed and the door open. She did not return for several minutes, during which time multiple staff members walked by. This situation made me feel uncomfortable and exposed. When the nurse returned, she stated that they did not have my paperwork and that the blood draw was still required. I again attempted to clarify that I was there to pick up completed paperwork documenting my TB test and annual exam. The nurse left again and later returned with the PA. The PA addressed me from the doorway and stated that I must have "misheard" previous instructions and that a blood test was required due to missing immunization records. I explained that this had not been communicated during my prior visit and that I had completed similar employment health forms multiple times in the past without this requirement. I also offered to obtain my immunization records from a previous provider if needed. Despite this, both the PA and nurse maintained that they had no record of my paperwork and that they could only provide TB test documentation. Throughout this interaction, I felt dismissed and as though I was being treated as noncompliant, despite my efforts to clarify the situation. Additionally, these conversations took place in an open area, which did not provide a sense of privacy. Following their instructions, I left the office with only my TB test results and a handwritten fax number to resend my employment paperwork. Shortly after leaving, I received a call from the front desk asking me to return, as they had my completed paperwork available. When I returned, the front desk staff--who were polite and helpful--provided me with my fully completed forms, including TB test verification and immunization documentation. They also expressed confusion as to why I had been asked to schedule an appointment, as the paperwork had been ready for pickup. This experience was extremely frustrating due to the lack of communication, inconsistent information, and the manner in which I was treated during my visit. I felt unheard, uncomfortable, and unnecessarily put through multiple appointments and conflicting instructions. While I have not had issues in the past, this experience has significantly impacted my confidence in the practice and has led me to seek care elsewhere. read more

The doctors and nurses here are incredibly kind and compassionate and want to listen to all of my concerns. As someone that needed constant help and to be seen I had such bad anxiety with specifically this older lady at the front desk who was belittling and made me feel like crap about myself. When I had constant problems with my insurance I apologized multiple times for making their job harder and this lady scolded me,ignored me and was not friendly at all! Every time I had an interaction with her whether over the phone or in person I left in tears and hopeless which made me feel like a burden. On the phone with her she would cut me off and be short and acted annoyed everytime I spoke with her. I'm not the type to write these kind of reviews but I'd constantly be afraid to go to the doctor because of how mean this lady was to me. Eventually, I just stopped going to ingleside because I was tired of leaving so upset. Everyone else is super friendly and I've had a lot of experience with interacting with all kinds of medical doctors, nurses, and staff but this one lady really put a lot of stress on emotions when I was already dealing with a lot of physical problems. read more

The receptionist I spoke with on the phone was very rude and unhelpful. So, I never got to see what the office experience is like. I wouldn't suggest avoiding it since I don't know enough about the whole practice, just that the phone conversation left much to be desired. read more

The doctors and staff at Ingleside are willing to listen to your concerns and take time to genuinely address your needs. They have always been willing to perform testing and talk through courses of treatment with me, making sure I am fully informed and comfortable with treatment options. They have day and evening hours, generally making it easy to get an appointment to be seen. I trust them wholeheartedly and would encourage anyone, who desires to have a caring doctor, to seek them out to be their primary care provider. read more

I researched all the physicians that were on my health plan in the Greater Philadelphia area. Dr. Brown of Ingleside Medical was on of the highest rated doctors and I know why. He is compassionate and listens to what you have to say which is not common today. I also have seen Dr. Schreier and Dr. Stoltzfus. Once there office staff gets to know you, the remember who you are and you feel like a member of the family. They are kind and will work to get you in as soon as possible. I love this practice because they are never dismissive when you explain what you are going through. The practice is extensive and it can be a one stop shop as they have osteopathic doctors on board. Their offices are clean and they take you back to see the doctor promptly and they run on-time 90% of the time which is also appreciated yet they don't rush you. If you need a new doctor, give them a try and tell them Susan sent you. read more
