I got a facial to help with the new acne coming up from wearing a mask and stress. Karlina, the owner, was super knowledgeable about what was happening under the skin and recommended products and even a dermatologist. Karlina's been doing this for a long time and I trusted her judgement. The space is clean but lively, with calming music playing in the background. It's clear that she has a lot of clients just by traditional word of mouth. They speak both Spanish and English.

I went back to the store at 12:40. The receptionist then told me I was " late" for my appointment and the waxer now has several people in front of me and I couldn't be seen til 2:30pm. I asked to cancel my appointment. This experience was horrible and the customer service was awful. I can't understand why I was told I wouldn't be seen for an extra 40 minutes for my appointment time to remain unaffected. The receptionist did not seem unapologetic about the situation at all either. I hope I don't have to endure this behavior again.

During my initial consultation, Melissa was very professional, warm, and openly listened to my concerns. She was comforting regarding my anxiety of seeking help and of needles. She was very knowledgeable and really took her time with me, not pushing me into anything, and gave me great advice. When it was time for my appointment, Melissa made me feel relaxed and comfortable and thoroughly explained everything that she did before doing it. She used an anesthetic cream before the injections and I did not feel a thing! She has personally followed up to see how I was doing and feeling. I will say administration was very kind but it was difficult to get in touch with someone in regards to personal inquiries most of the time and I did not like that. I have been trying to get in touch with someone there since last month in regards to something personal and I still haven't heard back from them although their assistant said I would get a call right back once they had a moment, a month ago.
