I'm honestly torn writing this because this place has been a part of my life for as long as I can…read moreremember. I've been going to this hobby store since the 1980s when I was just a kid, going there with my late father. It was one of those places that helped build a lifelong love for RC cars and the hobby itself. Now, decades later, I genuinely enjoy taking my own children there and sharing that same experience with them. It's something really special to me and my family. That's why this situation has been so hard. I dropped off an RC truck for repair and expected it might take some time. What I didn't expect was how long it actually took -- months and months passed while I waited. Eventually, when I called to check on it, I was told the truck had already been surrendered after 90 days. That news was absolutely heartbreaking. This wasn't just a piece of equipment to me. It was something I had invested a lot into and something tied to years of enjoyment in this hobby. I understand that businesses have policies, and I don't doubt they have rules in place, but learning about it only after the fact made the loss feel even worse. What makes this especially difficult is that I truly love this store. It's been part of my life story from childhood to now as a parent. I honestly can't imagine not going there anymore, and that's what makes this situation so emotionally complicated for me. I'm not posting this to attack anyone. I'm just really torn and hurt by how this played out, and I wish there had been more communication before it reached that point.

They really cater to a broad range of hobbies, which makes it a fun place to browse even beyond what you came in for. Prices were reasonable for the items I browsed and purchased. Definitely worth a visit!

Met these folks at the recent AnimeNYC and had a fantastic interaction!…read more They're not just your average, corporate anime store. They do have quite of selection of imported goods alongside American IP merchandise. The prices range from reasonable to pricey, so you may get lucky with a steal! The saleswoman behind the stand was so kind and patient with us. There were a few products I was eyeing and she pulled each and every one of them out individually in order for me to get a better look. Even the assortment of acrylic keychains, she went through each one individually until she found the character I wanted. She didn't have to but it was such a lovely gesture! We got to talking about our favorite characters, and once we found out we shared the same interest, she pulled out this pristine vintage plush from hidden behind the counter and offered it to me at a decent price, and I knew I had to get it then and there (as well as the keychain). I'm nowhere near their brick and mortar store, but if you happen upon these people at a local con, check them out! They're knowledgable and friendly and a pleasure to deal with!

I was excited to purchase this pair of earrings after being told they were $200. As I was literally…read morepulling out my money to pay, the seller (yellow and red hair, lots of glitter on her face) suddenly said, "Oops, they're actually $300." I asked if they would honor the price I had been quoted, especially since I had already made the decision to buy based on that amount. They refused. Whether it was a genuine mistake or not, changing the price by 50% at the point of sale and refusing to honor the quoted price is incredibly unprofessional. It left a very poor impression I walked away without making a purchase. I understand that mistakes happen, but if you quote someone a price you should keep your word and honor it, even if it means losing a few bucks. A friend even tried to remind them of their quote on the final day or the con as they were not sold and they told her no as well. If you're shopping here, I recommend confirming the final price before getting attached to anything. I couldn't stop thinking about these earrings all weekend. I would have never gotten my hopes up if I heard $300 to start with.

It was kids night and they had all the cars out on the track, then let everyone walk on the track…read moreand interact with the drivers who were giving out candy and autographed pictures of themselves. Fun! I knew the track was mud, but how cool to actually walk on it! Kids under 16 were free and everyone was was $15 to get in for hours and hours (we were done around 9:30/10 of entertainment. They even threw out candy to the people in the stands at one point! I can't quite explain the cars, but there were four "classes" who raised 20 laps around the track, stopping when there were crack ups. Some of the bleachers had backs to them, which was nice. There was an indoor bar and food area with typical fast food style food and fairly cheap drinks ($6 for a mixed drink.) Parking was free and they left us with a schedule for the rest of the season to hang up in our house. Bring your ear protection, it's loud! Also bring your eye protection, it's dusty! Bring layers as it gets cold when the sun goes down. Otherwise, stop by and try out something new!

These were good…read moreto know, as we were able to get tickets right at the gate and came stocked with bug spray, sunscreen, and some snacks and sodas. This place is very popular. There's parking on both sides, and since we arrived a little late, we were waved towards the back side and then had to go all the way to the back of that lot. It was a good five minute walk from our car to the ticket booth. There are grandstands on both sides, and bathroom/concession facilities. It's open seating. I recommend going far away from the gate because it's less crowded the further you go. The racing was really well-run. They have the next round lined up and ready to go as soon as the previous one finishes. There's a winner's interview, which is nice because it helps give you an idea of who everyone is and what they thought of that race. The caution procedures are very clear and orderly. I've been to other places where it takes ten minutes to get everything reset. There's a big screen with the camera feed and a lap count, and another screen with scoreboard and lap times. I couldn't read the scoreboard too well until the sun went down. I was way over on the other side by turn 3, though. Speaking of the sun, it was still up for an hour or so once they start, and the backstretch is directly into the sun. I would've brought some hats in retrospect.
