Nice merchandise, changes rapidly. We bought several items over two trips and found their prices reasonable. The apparel suits older folks, and was well-sorted and curated. They have jewelry, and although we don't normally buy jewelry at thrifts, there were several items we liked. People and staff seem happy here, something not easily quantified or measured. You could nonetheless feel conviviality. Lots of parking; use an online map to find it. And, they sometimes have strange and unique stuff, especially apparel. It's not cheap merch, but most we saw was good in value. read more

Love love love this thrift store!!! When my mom had to retire and close her store after 46 yrs we sold what we could and I researched the right organization to donate the rest. I had never even been here or heard of it and now I can't stay away. Not only do they help Out the deaf community (my father happened to be deaf) their prices are amazing!!! The staff for the most part is great AND they came and picked up everything we were donating. What a blessing. We find ourself donating most items here (unless for animals or certain other things). They have great special tag days. Senior day is Tuesday 25% off Women's clothes Wednesday 50% off I always recommend this spot to friends and family. I had several furniture items to donate when I was moving and called a week ahead to get on their pickup schedule. The day came with no word from them so I called and was assured I was on their schedule. I stayed close to home the whole day waiting on them and they never came or called to tell me they weren't coming. This caused considerable inconvenience because I was moving, and I then had to figure out at the last minute what to with all the furniture. The woman in charge didn't seem like she really cared about the people donating their stuff to their store. I used to like shopping there but I doubt I will ever go back. That's just a really poor way to treat people. read more

This store is large with some quality furniture but everything is extremely dated, even the clothes. The staff is not friendly or welcoming, there are many posted signs telling you not to move any items as if you're going to scratch them or damage them. I do a lot of thrifting and this store was the least inviting. Most items were overpriced for the condition they were in. I will not be returning. read more

I shop at the store and recommend it frequently It's one of my favorite until now New managers two young men behind the counter one very condescending rude and abrupt with me because I didn't have three pennies to complete my sale when I pull the credit card out it wasn't enough to put on the credit card and then he had the audacity to say to me I can't give you any money I never asked him for money I told him I was going to look in my car for three cents and check on my laundry When I came back I asked to speak to the manager and the gentleman behind the counter said I'm not allowed in the store anymore so I walked to the back and spoke with a manager named Reese who was equally rude insensitive and the worst manager I have ever encountered He told me I was not allowed at the store and I said why and then he lied and said that I cursed and used foul language to his employee which was not true! And when I asked him what word I used He said after he paused a while it doesn't matter I can refuse service to anyone get out of my store there was a threatening security guard at the door What happened to the Christian mindset This is not a Christian thrift store This is the devil in disguise You don't treat people like this You don't look down upon them and judge them just because they don't have two or three cents to buy the item that they stood in line for to buy Don't be fooled beware customers that go there You're giving your money to salespeople that lie read more

Super clean store, they really fix up things in the back before it's placed on the shelf. Run by volunteers that have a true heart for giving back. Items are also donated to women and children in need and to Mexican orphanages. This place is incredible and very very good for the community . read more

I had a Murphy bed that I no longer had use for. I called several donation centers and none would come to dismantle and pick up. A friend told me about In Joy, I called and they sent a TEAM out in less than a week's time. The team head noticed I had other things I wanted to donate and they took it all, even some things I thought I'd have to discard! Very professional, friendly, in and out in timely fashion, and cleaned up after themselves. They are a delight to deal with, and I recommend them highly. read more

This used to be a great store. I had not been there in at least three years and was shocked at the smell when I stepped in two days ago. I was there to buy one pair of jeans and the clothing was so saturated with Febreze or whatever it is they are using, that I got sick. Why are they doing this? Many fabrics hold onto that hideous chemical smell no matter how many washings, no matter how much you soak the item in baking soda or white vinegar. I've shopped in thrift stores for 30 years and the stores never had to spray this junk on clothes. I have donated many nice things to Injoy and always gave them perfectly clean clothes. Stopped in with a friend looking for furniture for her office. I was immediately impressed with how clean and well organized the place was. Things were sorted and placed very meticulously. Prices were very clearly marked. And they had quite a bit of inventory all around. I'm not a thrift store connoisseur but I thought this place was legit! read more

I bought several items on my credit card and noticed a crack in a glass while still at the counter. Clerk called the store lead who said my only option was to go right then and find something to replace it with and they didn't have any gift cards for use later. They couldn't/ wouldn't void the transaction either. I had looked at everything and didn't have time to scour the store for something else. Very poor policy especially since it was not really a return in my opinion. I used to live this store and have bought a lot there but will not return. read more

Horrible !! you're supposed to be a Christian store at the beginning everybody was really nice and kind now there's just a bunch of stuck up snobby old people if you hate your job so much don't work where other people are around just stay in your house!! every time I go there there's some guy with glasses that really just wants to check you in and check you out. If you try talking to him he'll cut you off as if his time is too precious. Even have a conversation with you and then the old people they have in the back or just rude, miserable people. the younger crowd that they have seems to be friendlier and likes their job. They should probably fire the other people and have them just retire already. read more

Hello. I have had a terrible experience with the staff of this store. Would not listen to my explanation of the situation and was yelling at the customer. They falsely accused them of stealing when they had explained to the supervisor that they were just trying on clothes. After the situation had been explained, the supervisor refused to acknowledge that nothing was stolen and it was a misunderstanding, and then refused to give an apology to the customer. Do not go to this store, terrible staff and terrible management of the situation. Will not return to this location. read more

I love going to this thrift store because it's so clean and organized. No digging through messy piles of junk covered in dust - everything is where it should be, clean, and reasonably priced for the most part. I've found some great vintage dishes and linens here, and they always have a decent furniture selection. Books are usually 50% off, and there is a different discount color tag every week. The clothing selection leans a bit dated/older generally, but they do have a few "boutique/vintage" racks that are higher-priced. They offer furniture delivery for $25, which is great for tiny car owners like me. It is well spaced out with one-way aisles so I've felt relatively comfortable shopping here during COVID, although one employee did get a bit too close for comfort to talk to me while I was looking at a piece of furniture. Overall, Injoy is where I go when I want a more relaxed thrifting experience. read more

Very Clean Thrift Store on the eastside. They keep a nice shop and you can usually get discounts like a color of the day and social media selfie discounts (Look at the front door). They have lots of clothing, some furniture, electronics, and other items. Very large shop in a strip mall on the Northeast Corner of Broadway and Pantano. It is a large strip mall so you have to go down a bit to get to the door. Faith based shop and very nice and helpful people. Always pleasant. read more

Although I used to be a fan of Injoy for a couple years, I am very disappointed in the direction they are going. The inventory is sparse, at times half empty, the same old things stay in stock for months. All in all the place has become stale and uninteresting. But nothing compares to my last experience there. I asked a maskless customer to at least put her scarf up to her mouth and nose. Suddenly three volunteers descended upon me hollering to get out, that I had no right to ask her to do that, and that I was being aggressive. They physically walked me out the door - all without wearing masks! I will never shop, donate, share, or encourage folks to visit there. The staff is intimidating and the volunteers can be downright nasty. I don't appreciate that when I am simply trying to shop. read more

I love this thrift store, I always find great hidden gems for jeans and cute seasonal shirts. Always clean and organized. My complaints would be some of the teams are way over priced for donations and there are these rude older women who work there. I am of ethnicity, and I've noticed while browsing I've been started out and followed. Like it's a thrift store! Sometimes during check out them have been rude with communication and making regards to me. I have a love hate relationship with the store. it was exciting to see a place like this poo up in Tucson. I was eager to volunteer, with a masters in I/O, retail experience, and two business days I could volunteer for 16 hours. I liked what they stood for, however after sending multiple emails of when I could come in for volunteer orientation and lack of response I will not be spending my free time here. Additionally, I had read a comment from a mother who had a child with Autism who was told he was not a good fit-i inquired about that and it was not addressed. I do not and would not want to give financial support or my MS level skills to a company who turns away others for their differences. This is my favorite thrift store in Tucson and the price is extremely fair for the product they put on the floor. No digging through junk looking for treasures. The staff are amazing and always ready to answer questions and any needs you have. The entire store is very organized and Very clean. When you go down the rows of clothes, you see the clothes all are sized together and place in rows of short sleeves together and long sleeves together. The way it is set up makes shopping easy since all the furniture / rugs and a entire space fill with bikes, light fixtures and outside chairs . It feels like a department store with some amazing staff, with a gift of organizing and visual concept that is appealing and invites the customer to check out the entire store. My find was 2 years I bought a fake 6' tree and it's easy to set up and tear down . All proceeds go to women and children . Which is the reason we need to shop Injoy . read more

I think InJoy is the best of the thrift shops I've been in in Tucson. Their prices are not outrageous, and military get a discount every day there. I've found some great bargains there, and it seems much cleaner than most other thrift shops here. It doesn't have that "thrift shop smell" you notice when you walk in to most of them. read more

I really like this place. Wednesdays are the best day to come. Especially if you're a woman and need clothes, because ladies clothes are 50% off then! I've gotten so much stuff here, and a lot of it is *really* nice. I've bought several shirts, a few pairs of jeans, and a couple of dresses, both of which I get complimented on frequently. Also, although the women's clothes selection is a huge draw, the collection of crystal and cut glass is also lovely. That stuff is a little pricy, so I tend to stick with the clothes when I come in. It's also HUGE. There is so much stuff in here. Holy smokes. I'm a thrift shop junkie and to be honest, this really is one of the best. The clothes are always in really good shape, as opposed to a lot of the stuff you see at the Salvation Army or SVDP. If you come in on Wednesday you can get a ton of stuff for next to nothing. I've been to this store one time before, but today is the last time I come into "InJoy" Thrift Stores. I went to the front counter asking to try on a pair of jeans and a tank top and one of the two ladies let me in with her key. I was very pleased with how the clothing looked and felt on me and wanted to wear it out. Keep in mind this is not normal protocol for most thrift store clothing I put on, but the items I tried on had barely any smell (which I credit them for, and I shop at a lot of thrift stores). I walked out of the dressing room with hangers in hand but not seeing the woman who let me in I decided to walk back to the register to pay when I saw her again by the dressing rooms helping other customers. I told her I liked the clothing so much I wanted to wear it out and we walked up to the cashier together paying for the items. I showed them the tags and had them cut them with their own scissors. I walk back to my boyfriend who is by the random items shelves and show him the new digs I scored for $7. He finds a nice frame for his father's artwork. It feels like ten minutes later when the manager walks up behind me and tells me without any context that I need to leave. Shocked, and not knowing what I did, I ask why. She says the woman who let me into the dressing room saw me afterward walking around the store before finding me and escorting me to the register. I told her that wasn't true and I had planned to pay for the items. I HAD PAYED FOR THE ITEMS. I had already given you money for stuff that was donated to you. The assistant lady and I walked to the register together and I payed with my card. And then I walked over to my boyfriend who was shopping and going to pay for more items. In response to wearing the clothing out, she said that it's common sense you don't do that (to insult me I guess?), they have a lot of theft already, and that she trusted her employee's opinion over mine because she doesn't know me. After being treated so poorly, I regret not asking for my money back. Hell, I should've walked out with the new/old clothes on my back... I thought this was a Christian organization. I've been here a a dozen of times and love the quality of clothing. The cashier, an older one with blonde hair has always been rude to me. I had a total over 40 dollars and I realized I had forgotten my card. Ask if she would hold them for no more then 15 minutes. She rudely, explained they do not hold clothes. I get rules and regulations but that is a decent amount of cash spent and I live close by in which I explained, but no kindness was shown. Being said, the store is being operated on Christian principles, it makes no that she couldn't have a heart hold it for a few moments. Having been showed rudeness by her a lot....I will not be returning. It wouldn't hurt her to smile and be friendly towards others. read more

You can at times find good quality clothing here but most other items are overpriced. They want 4 or 5 dollars for plastic container items that can be bought new for 1 dollar at the dollar store. Most housewares are similarly overpriced. Today there was a line of about 10 mostly elderly people waiting to check out while the cashier chatted and chatted and chatted with a customer about the weather, her dog, and her mom. I know shes a volunteer but please have some awareness of the people waiting for you. read more

This is one of my favorite thrift stores in Tucson. It is clean and really big with a huge selection of women's clothing. Furniture always looks nice and nic-nacs look clean and ready to be taken hom. I am mainly interested in the clothing. I am a fashion hound and know my labels/brands/years very well. That being said, their "botique" section shows a real lack of respect for people that also know brands and wasting time in that section can be frustrating. So, for the workers there....Faded Glory (Wal Mart), even if it is new with tags, is NOT a boutique item, Nor is Merona (Target), Apt 9, H&M, Mango, Zara,TopShop...there are many more but these are some of the brands that don't cost any more when new and shouldn't cost more than other used clothes. Also, just because a dress is "Calvin Klein " if it's 20 years old, stained ripped etc. it's not vintage it's old and not boutique. read more

I simply love shopping at the InJoy Thrift Store. I try to go there 2 or 3 times a mobth. If i have any questions the ladies there are very efficient ob helping me & if one isnt able to they will find another Volunteer that can. I go there bc of the atmosphere is extremely calm & isnt full of loudness. Even the music fits the place. I hope that they never have to shut down. I've donated here twice. I've been shocked both times at how non existent the customer service is. They do not have the decency to greet you when you are donating, help you carry the donations in, nor even say thank you! The inside of the store is extremely tidy though. In future I will drive a little further and donate to Salvation Army. read more
