Outside the building I wasn't expecting much but once we went inside, it had nice setup with a few couches you can relax. The place was well kept, organized and clean. The guy that helped my friends was great. Derek was very informative, knowledgeable and can tell he enjoys what he does. He made sure that the room my friends were in were thoroughly clean and explained what to expect when getting the piercings. He was also teaching someone too while talking to my friends. I think he did a great job making sure my friends were good and comfortable throughout. I didnt get anything but looking around if I do consider getting a piercing in the future, I would consider coming here for sure. They also do tattoos too and some images I saw seem cool so maybe something to think about too.

I was brought back to the piercing studio around 6:30ish. I absolutely LOVE how the facility is by appointment only, and that they require you to wash your hands immediately upon coming in. Because it's appointment only, the lobby area was clear and there wasn't really anyone out there, which I really liked. The music wasn't loud either and it was enjoyable. The facility was extremely clean. Frankie was a gem. I was getting re-pierced and I was very nervous and anxious, and her vibes helped the nerves a ton. I let her know that I have a tendency to get swollen pretty quickly and more than the usual person, and she made sure to give me a longer post to account for additional swelling. Yes, it's a bit more pricier than your typical piercing studio BUT it's worth it and an investment; good work isn't cheap, cheap work isn't good. Their selection of jewelry is again, expensive but absolutely beautiful and high quality. I wish I would've gotten all my piercings done by Frankie! I called to make the appointment and they answered quickly and were able to accommodate an appointment the following day (a Thursday) at 1pm. While it didn't really inconvenience me bc I had no other time-dependent plans, Kara (the piercer) was a bit late (30 minutes, I think) to our appointment due to traffic - road construction seems to be a bit nuts in SA right now, but I might recommend scheduling an appointment later in the day if you can swing it. But they have massage chairs, a TV, and a Play Station to keep you entertained if you end up in a similar situation. They were also very apologetic. When it came time to do the deed, Kara was friendly and informative. I wasn't planning on getting both pierced but after some discussion with her about it, I went for getting both done knowing I could take one (or both) out if I only wanted one to be pierced. Now, for the details for the piercing. Kara uses a hollow needle, she does not use a clamp (good for minimizing pain and bruising) to hold the nipple in place, there was no bleeding, bruising and no major swelling right afterwards, though I did feel throbbing (to be expected). I did bleed a little bit in my sleep that evening, but it was minimal and not surprising considering how I have a tendency to sleep in my stomach, so I'm sure it was only from rolling around. All in all, if I'm in SATx in the future, I'd definitely come back here. May need to make it a point to get a tattoo done here as they have great artists on staff too.

This is my fifth tattoo in the San Antonio (and surrounding areas) and Trevor at RRT did a an excellent job with my compass tattoo. I appreciate his attention to detail and making sure the tattoo placement was correct. It is at times like these when you find out your arm is shorter than the other, one clavicle bone brighter than the other, or in my case my navel is not properly centered with my mid-clavicular chest line ‍. I was charged under the quoted price, which is definitely a first in my tattoo journey. I'm a very family oriented individual so I naturally am now very fond of this shop.
