A couple weeks ago I took my daughter to ink ink to get a special tattoo on her arm. We drove over 3 hours to get there. We had some time to kill so she looked for a prom dress, Found one and bought it. When we got to Ink Ink there were a couple of people ahead of us. When her time came Sam came and got her. Sam is so friendly, like someone you've known for years. We soon found out today was her dads birthday, he passed away a few years ago. The tattoo my daughter was getting was a special one that had a lot of meaning for her mom and me. That made it very special to Sam too. When she was done, all the girls stopped and got together for a great picture with my daughter. How many places care enough to do that! I guarantee you every negative review here is fake, a lie. Springfield is a town that has never caught up with the rest of the country. Very religious, super conservative. They can't except a place like Ink Ink that is all girls. The people that are leaving these negative reviews need to grow up and act like adults. These girls are hard working girls trying to make a living just like everyone else. We spent over $400 that day, not counting tattoo, Thats $400 spent in your town, only because of Ink Ink!!! read more

I thought I'd researched and found an artist that could lay out and design my sleeve, but when I went in to get it started, she did a poor job laying it out and outlining it. Thinking they were professionals and knew what they were doing, I made another appointment and allowed them to shade at the next session, but when I asked if the blotchy shading would level out once it healed and was told yes, I knew I'd made a bad decision. I went back and asked for them to fix it in the final session, but the owner, Kelcie advised the artist to refuse an appointment. Since then, I've found a true artist at Transformations Studio downtown, and frankly spent thousands fixing the mistakes Ink Ink did. If you want a little butterfly or no-talent tattoo that any studio can do, sure, Ink Ink is capable, but don't expect the design to match what you ask for or to be remembered if you visit more than once, and don't expect to be treated with respect or as more than a mark. Their customer service for repeat customers is the worst I've ever experience. read more

Years ago I went into a local tattoo shop for a simple wrist tattoo for my son's first deployment, this guy who must have been an apprentice did it for me. I have to say, he did not do a good job, so I went back after it healed and there was this little blonde girl (Kelsey) who fixed it for me. I found out later that she had opened her own place and was so excited for her and myself!! My husband and I have been in a lot of tattoo shops in our area, and upon entering them, we have been ignored, given the impression the employees time was to valuable to deal with us, and it has all been very unpleasant..... Until Ink Ink opened, we went in and were greeted with enthusiasm that was not fake and has continued everytime we have been in there! The atmosphere in this shop is fantastic, everyone is treated wonderfully and the group of girls are just wonderful., and Ink ink is definitely a well oiled machine! I would highly recommend Ink Ink to anyone looking for a fun day and a great tattoo!! read more

Since they now have another new artist and I've gotten tons more work done there I am updating my review. Kelsey is the bomb diggity, fan-freakin-tastic artist, great person to hang out with while you are getting inked, and all around super fun. Brittany is hilarious and will make you feel so super at ease with any piercing you are considering. Nate is a master at anything involving ink. Not quite sure how else to put it. He can just draw magic stuff on your skin then tattoo it and it still looks magic. (p.s. I've been tattooed by Brittany and she did a pretty darn good job at it too - even though she retired as a tattoo artist) And of course Paige. Paige is great! She's a sweet person and a fantastic artist! She turned a regretted tattoo (not done by anyone at Ink Ink!!!!!!!!) into one of my favorites in one short session. This place is horrible. Very unprofessional... I had an appointment and when I got there, I ended up waiting 30mins so the "artists" could chat with one another about their nights and eat Taco Bell. Also, the tattoos I got sucked!!! They faded a week later and the lines are shaky and blurred. My 5yo daughter could have done a better job. When the tats were finished, they literally taped Saran Wrap on me and sent me packing. This place is horrid!!! I have had several tattoos since and I know what to expect now. This shop is unlike any other I've been in before. You are always greeted with a smile when you walk in the door, the shop is clean, the atmosphere is laid back, and the girls are so fun. Everyone is just themselves and no one is ever intimidating. These girls take pride in their work. I've had multiple tattoos done here and each one has turned out beautifully. They take the time to help you decide exactly what you want and then execute it with skill. This shop does quality work. I get compliments all the time on my half sleeve. read more

My three sisters and I were in town and had a ton of time to kill so we stopped to get tattoos. I ended up getting a lip piercing as well. The entire place was great. All of the artists do amazing work. Hayley did my piercing and was great. She was down to earth and very helpful. Claire did all of our tattoos. She was so sweet and funny, and does amazing work. We will never go to another tattoo shop again. Its completely worth it for us to drive 1.5 hours to get phenomenal tattoos and piercings. Thanks ladies!!! read more

Totally awesome place. Drove down from Emporia, KS in the middle of week. I was wanting to meet the ladies, see the place and HOPING that they would have time to fit me in. Guess what!!??? They did. Nikki is a total sweet heart and did an amazing job on my Curious George bicycle tattoo. She didn't even look at me funny when I wanted him upside down on my thigh so he could be riding my bicycle shorts tan line. I love cycling, I love monkeys and I named my bicycle George. Today I had my first session of three and absolutely loved it, from the moment I walked in to the time I left I was smiling and or laughing. An amazing atmosphere, one you would not expect from a tattoo shop. I was impressed with how clean the place looked and although comical the staff are very professional and knowledgable about tattoos. Fantastic staff! I actually went to the Branson location but the staff there was very friendly and super easy to work with. Chrissy did an incredible job on my tattoo, the script is gorgeous, and they were very helpful in giving me all the information and help I needed with the healing process. I will definitely be traveling from Michigan to here next time I want to get a tattoo. read more

Failure to communicate properly with the customer. EXTREMELY RUDE when talking to on the phone! Unwillingness to work with you! Worst tattoo shop I have ever dealt with! I'd recommend going somewhere else! Both stores tend to work together to fuck the customer over and WAY over priced!! read more

I've gotten all 12 of my tattoos here. The girls are delightful and incredibly skilled. The shop has a unique and friendly atmosphere. The artists are very friendly and more than willing to help you flesh out your design. Their work is beautiful and I can't recommend them enough. read more
