Right away I knew I would go here for my tattoo. I met the owner and 3 of the artists. They were all very very nice and actually care about the person and their work they put on the person. They customize it and tell you their ideas about where it should go and why. They offer professional advice, and care. They walked me through the whole process. My anxiety was through the roof!!! Mike was my artist and he was so sweet, funny and really cared. They told me how to help it and take care of it while it heals. Highly recommend!

Let me be clear, this not a miscommunication, and it was not a minor mistake. This was a complete failure to follow clearly written instructions. There is absolutely no excuse for permanently putting incorrect information on someone's body when it was handed to you in writing. Because of this negligence, I am now left with a tattoo that is wrong and will require additional time, money, and emotional stress to fix after already being out $400 for this monstrosity. This could have been avoided with the most basic level of care or a simple verification before starting. That did not happen. If you are considering this shop, especially for anything meaningful like text, numbers, or coordinates, understand that accuracy and attention to detail are clearly not taken seriously here. I trusted this artist with something permanent, and that trust was completely misplaced. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

The shop was extremely clean including the bathroom and had an open view concept where people can watch to tattooing from preparation to completion. After a digital registration process, an artistic tattoo of choice was picked out with an agreed price. The shop has a minimum price of $150.00 for a tattoo and climbs based on size and complexity. The merch section had some cool shirts and caps which had some funny sayings and displayed the Inked Key West name. After twenty minutes, the cursive letter tattoo was completed and looked great and was a great addition the the leg.

I brought a sketch that I had done with the general idea of what I wanted and we talked it through and he was able to draw up a pretty close facsimile of what I wanted. After talking about it he was able to get precisely what I wanted with the coloring and everything. So far I am very happy with it. It's a little more than half done and I will be returning in about two weeks to finish it. I would also like to point out that I am transgender and everybody at the shop was more than excepting and accommodating. It's a wonderfully laid-back atmosphere at the shop and everybody just seems like old friends talking about whatever happens to come up at the time. The artwork by all the artists is incredible and they truly take the time to listen so you get exactly what you want.
