I provided the exact coordinates in writing for my tattoo, and the artist still tattooed the wrong coordinates on my body. Let me be clear, this not a miscommunication, and it was not a minor mistake. This was a complete failure to follow clearly written instructions. There is absolutely no excuse for permanently putting incorrect information on someone's body when it was handed to you in writing. Because of this negligence, I am now left with a tattoo that is wrong and will require additional time, money, and emotional stress to fix after already being out $400 for this monstrosity. This could have been avoided with the most basic level of care or a simple verification before starting. That did not happen. If you are considering this shop, especially for anything meaningful like text, numbers, or coordinates, understand that accuracy and attention to detail are clearly not taken seriously here. I trusted this artist with something permanent, and that trust was completely misplaced. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

4/2 appx 530p: was very excited to get a hummingbird tattoo especially at a hometown shop. Young lady at counter was kind. I told her that I was willing to co create a design with water color background. Tattoo artist was rude, dismissive, unprofessional, uninterested. I wanted saturated color - he showed absolutely no interest other than strumming a highlighter across a green book. He told me that the bird has to face a certain direction. Not my preference at all. I asked why (it's my skin) and he said, "those are the rules". For whom exactly?! Walk right by this store. Especially if you're a local. I would give negative stars if possible read more

I highly recommend Paradise Tattoos! My boyfriend and I decided to get tattoos while on vacation. We didn't have an appointment, but they were able to get us in the same day! Ellie was incredibly helpful in figuring out exactly what we wanted and even gave me recommendations on what would age well since I wanted something with fine lines. Joe designed both of our tattoos, and he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. My boyfriend's tattoo was more complex, and Joe designed it based on a random picture online and a verbal description. Joe provided his professional opinion, and the finished artwork is amazing! He finished in half the estimated time, but he seems to factor in pain tolerance and if the person needs a break.  Overall, excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff! Customer satisfaction is not high on their priorities, came back to have something touched up and they wanted to charge $100 for literally a dot of ink. Offered 20 bucks for their time, but that was not sufficient. I came in with 5 friends. Not one person at the counter, when he did show up-from outside-(leather vest black hair, he convinced us not to get tattooed because it would've been out first. Found "inked key west" they are so great! Stay away from here and go to green st! So friendly, clean and perfect. Tattoo i wanted was SUPER basix wirh minimal work and just a tad of line work. Was a 2 inch pair of dice; matching with a friend. We bith found the artist to be shakey and not consistent with line work. Thanfully easy tattoo to fix. Highly do not recommend this place for a decision this permanent . They are seeking the drunk key west tourists to make poor decisions. We attempted to pick and get a tattoo this past weekend here and so many red flags came about that we ended up getting up from the tattoo chair and walking out. *As we were choosing our designs which were meaningful to us, the two women that worked there huddled behind the counter and giggled loudly. We became insecure whether they were laughing at us and the designs we chose already making us hesitant within the 1st ten minutes being there. *being in Key West which is high in water sports, they never took the time to advise us you cannot get in the water after getting a tattoo. Feeling rushed, They actually did not advise us anything at all- just shoving a paper for initials in a hurry to begin. *they are not clear on the pricing. We were condescendingly informed no matter how small the design we chose it would still be $75. (We wanted tiny wrist designs) But then when she went to charge me suddenly changed it to $85. (Hadn't changed the size though) *one male tattoo artist barked my name to come to his chair as though he was annoyed I wasn't immediately rushing over to him, although nobody told me that is where I was supposed to go. *when I tried to make light of the situation and cover my nervousness I made comments that I needed someone to hold my hand or take photos. He rudely informed me nobody would be doing that. So in a last attempt to warm him up and make this an enjoyable experience I said I was ready only if he had a smile on his face. He glared at me and rolled his eyes multiple times. *****I seriously have not encountered someone that demeaning, angry and rude in customer service in a long time. That was my last straw. I felt so nervous and uncomfortable and learned quickly my sister was getting the same vibe so we rescued each other and left. Don't make a decision you'll be stuck with, with people that care so little. We wanted a fond and fun memory. You won't get that here! read more

He made our experience amazing from start to finish and was kind and put a lot of thought into stencils as he was making them. Throughout the tattoo process he made beautiful lines and showed great attention to detail even in quick time! So the night crew seemed very friendly, wished they had time to do the tattoo my partner wanted then. We went back the next morning. The tattoo was overpriced but figured it was Key west pricing... so it was what it was. The problem was how rude Dan was, while he finished the tat in 5-10 minutes when we wanted a second to look at it in the mirror he told us "you can look at it later all you want, it will be there a while" now if the tone was meant in a funny way, ok I would get it, but he was truly just rude and obnoxious. Dan made the experience a big negative and I think in a service based business especially with things being so slow, you wouldn't act like such a prick. Turtle did such an amazing job of covering a very old and ugly tattoo I had. He did an enormous under water scene with a giant octopus as its focal point. Came out so amazing!
