If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've been here twice--once for my wedding and once for my baby shower--and both experiences were extremely disappointing. For my wedding, I asked for a subtle ombré French tip and showed reference photos. Instead, I received bright white tips with uneven thickness. Some nails had longer white tips than others, with harsh lines and little to no ombré. I decided to give them another chance for my baby shower and again showed multiple photos of a nude French. The first attempt resulted in solid white dip nails, and my natural nails were filed down excessively. When I pointed this out, they redid them, but had to add length to my nails, which I wanted to avoid, and the second set looked even worse. What was most concerning was that one nail was filed so thin it reached the skin and caused a burning sensation. Even after I expressed discomfort, the area continued to be filed. Despite all of this, I was still charged $115. Both visits felt rushed, and I did not feel that my requests were followed. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend this salon. read more

I had a no chip manicure & a regular pedicure on March 2. Ive been getting my nails done since 1984 in Chicago, my hometown. The pedicure I got at Best Nails was good. I got a nice message, nails well done. Pedicure still looks good However, my nails were a mess after 6 days. Nearly every nail chipped & was raggedy. I don't recommend this salon. BTW the person who did my nails was the man (only man there) Maybe the other employees do a better job. I will never go back there again. read more

Kevin is awesome every time; I had one of the girls one time for a pedicure and I specifically asked her not to cut my toenail and she kept trying to do it anyway and I kept telling her not to and then she covered my foot and then cut it anyway after I specifically asked her not to three times Kevin intervened... I have been here multiple times and I will not be returning. I used to get my acrylic nails done here and the prices have been all over the place. The last time I went I was charged 50 for a fill plus 20 for chrome powder. That's insane! Extremely over priced for the quality. Also my nails came out way thicker than I wanted when I asked for them to be thinner and one nail was significantly longer than the others. I was too irritated to ask him to fix it and I also didn't have the time after already being there for over an hour. Too expensive for the service provided. A mani-pedi cost $100 and they don't even give you a massage (hand or foot). I was talked into getting the dipping powder. I like the result but they double dipped the powder, which I understand is not hygienic. They are inconsistent with their services, you may or may not get a hand massage. Mom got one, I didn't; we had the same service. When I asked about this the owner got very nasty with me. I recommend avoiding this place. read more

I recently went to the nail salon to get a pedicure and have my dipped nails color changed. They were in such a rush the women dipped my nails while I was sitting in the pedicure chair, it was so uncomfortable and rushed. The dip powder got all over me and my hands. After paying women, she attempted to wipe the powder off of my skin with acetone and it smuged my nails. I noticed my smudged nails as I was walking to my car and went back in for her to fix them. She quickly fixed them and told me I owed her more money???!!! This was after I paid, tipped and left. I will not go back. It wasn't the best nor the worst pedicure I've had in my life. The gentleman that helped me was older and what he lacked in knowledge he made up for in effort. My only complaints were the length of his thumb nails (they scratched my feet during the massage) and he didn't do a very thorough job on my cuticles. I went in for a set of acrylics with French tips which turned out great but I personally think I was overcharged.. I paid $75 just for acrylics no pedi no blings or gems on my acrylic and it was that amount. The UV light was really dirty and gross.. if you want fancy designs this is not the place to go. Every time I go here for a pedicure my feet always look and feel a million times better and my nails look clean and polished for weeks and at half the price. Worse place. I took my mother and sister and it was a flop. We paid for pedicures and they rush right through it. They use a machine for 1 minute to help scrub the callouses and it was a waste of tjme and money. The work on my acrylics was the worse I ever had. My nails were not smooth or even. The pain was lumpy. Very very disappointed as they just rush you. I had made an appointment so it was not like we were walk ins. They charge New York City prices but do a poor little town job. I visited Best Nail Salon for the first time on July11, 2020. I was very pleased with my mani-pedi, and was even more pleased by the safety precautions the salon is taking. My temperature was checked on entry, there is plexiglass between the client and the nail tech, and clients were seated well apart from one another in the pedicure chairs. got my nails done a couple days ago and the thumb already cracked because of their polish. i come in to get it fixed, and my natural nails are medium length and the guy fixing my nails just straight up cuts my nail that he was "fixing". he cut off the crack instead of putting new polish on and keeping my length. now i have one SUPER short nail and the rest are medium length. instead of fixing the length with an acrylic, he tried to cut all of my nails super short. this place was too cheap to redo the nail polish. i could have cut my nail at home and made my nails ugly at home. apparently this isn't a place to go to if you'd like nice nails. if i wanted short nails, i would have asked for them the first time. read more

My friend is a local and we stopped in. #1 had a pedi, #2 mani/pedi and #3 mani/pedi #1 - good job overall, tech was an elderly women, she didn't scrape nor massage with any vigor. #2 - meh - gentleman used a cuticle cutter on the bottom of my foot??? a lil messy on painting the nails. #3 - good job, no complaints I found 40 bucks a little costly for mani/pedi for an average salon. Went in for a pedicure last week. The process itself wasn't too bad, but whatever they have done to their polishes is not acceptable. My nails were still wet 3 hours after leaving the salon, and the polish all pooled into a dark patch on each toe, with a much lighter ring around it. They must have put something in the paint to thin it and make it last longer. I've had hundreds of pedicures with OPI polish, and I've never seen it do that before. I had to take it all off and redo it myself the next day. Do yourself a favor and drive to Marathon or Key West for nail care. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble. read more

DIRTY!!!! Stay away if you value your health. This shop was owned previously by a nice couple who kept it very clean, that is no longer the case. They actually tried to use a cheese grater as a pedicure file and a hand held mixer in the place of a dremel.
