Went in for a possible cartilage piercing and my sisters were going to get lobe piercings. They quoted them $160.50 for basic jewelry and both lobes, that is a crazy price. And when I asked what kind of jewelry would go in a cartilage piercing she said they don't do hoops and it's studs as well. I will admit it's been awhile since I've had a piercing done, but no hoops in cartilage piercings and that pricing seems off to me. Also no one was super friendly there. I originally called about a piercing with a specific piercer and was told he was not taking appointments. very disturbing to hear during a pandemic. i did a lot of research before choosing this place and piercer so i saw that at one point they stopped piercing altogether for safety-awesome. they are APP certified . their site does not specify what they do & don't offer-annoying. due to piercing placement i wanted to make sure my clothing would be comfortable and i had everything i would need beforehand. sigh anyway when i arrived there were a few people waiting inside. they were all busy and booked except the piercer taking walk-ins. ppwrk is filled out on an ipad which is cool but germs lol .. never saw it get wiped down. there was a customer inside the front with NO mask and i just knew they were getting a piercing so they removed it for a consult? which still why are you doing that in the common area. then i see they are getting a tattoo on their lower body. so they just didn't have on a mask and it wasn't enforced. the staff i dealt with was nice, reassured me about the piercing, the bed was cleaned before and after my usage. i think like a lot of places people are getting comfortable with sanitation but considering everything here is done to your body eek. i hope their scheduling gets revamped covid or not. it's a bit chaotic even for tattoos. i think the studio does nice work and i would still recommend them as far as that goes. read more

Matt was very professional and did very well piercing my daughter's ear lobes. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the price was very high compared to other shops....like more than double. I got tattooed by Biggins, and this man is the best. This was my first tattoo, and a large piece considering that. I felt very comfortable in the shop and everything was very sanitary. Biggins put up with my yelling of profane words and awful shaking, and luckily we were the only ones there haha. He drew us an original design. I wish that they had their piercers hours posted and that he didn't leave literally 2 minutes after 6:30. I had called earlier that day to make sure that he was in just to arrive at 6:32 to be told that he had already left. It says that they are open until 9 so it would be nice if they had a piercer there until 9. I don't like that you can't make appointments because of this reason. I've tried to go in not once, not twice, but 3 times just to be told that he's not there which really sucks because the piercer is APP approved. Looks like I'm going somewhere else read more

I highly recommend Matt at Ink Therapy for little girl ear piercing.....or any piercing. I took my 8 year old daughter and her friend to get their ears pierced. He was extremely professional and talked directly to the girls, explaining every step of the experience. My favorite part was when he said, "This is your body and you need to decide. Nobody can decide for you. So if you don't want to do this you don't have to.". He would ask them if it was ok to touch them before he would. He built their trust so that they weren't afraid. I am a teacher, and I seriously think this guy would make a great elementary teacher. He was clear with his words and set up expectations. He even turned the music off because he didn't want any bad words to accidentally be played. So thoughtful. And.....absolutely no issues with the piercings after 2 weeks. Matt took my experience to the next level with his professionalism. Of course the shop is immaculately clean, their jewelry selection is out of this world, and the piercing of my ear (daith) went great. It turns out, I had a little growth in my piercing caused by me over moisturizing it. I was out of town, over Thanksgiving weekend, and at a loss for what to do. I emailed Matt and immediately got a response back. Not only did he help me fix my problem, he emailed me to keep checking to make sure my ear was healing. I've had plenty of piercings and once you leave the door you never see the piercer again. I'm kind of used to that kind of treatment, but this was above and beyond. It is clear that Matt actually cares about his work and his customers. I will not go anywhere else for piercings and 5 stars isn't enough to rate Matt. read more

I went to ink therapy seeking a cover up, and Chris Taylor/owner was the gifted artist that tackled this issue. Although Chris is very talented and created beautiful work, the piece was never completed. After three sessions, I had the last appoiiment left for completion. After attempting to contact Mr. Taylor over a period of month. This artist did not have the professionalism to return any of my attempts of contact for the last sitting. Only to leave me in a jam to get the piece finished by someone other than him. It is a half sleeve an have invested some money into at this point. He was always paid on the spot an I was a quiet canvas to work on. So to sum it up, guess its like mcd's or walmart .... They have the business so it doesnt matter how you handle yourself professionally, and I'm left holding the bag of finding the caliber of an artist that is needed to finish it, and I'm sure more $$ will be incurred, than if he had finished the piece. read more
