My son's only birthday wish was to get snake bite piercings. I've had many piercings in the past (at this location, even), so I'm no dummy when it comes to making sure you go to a reputable source- ESPECIALLY when it comes to mouth piercings. Unfortunately, we were short on time so I called ahead to make sure the piercer was free. I called at 1:00. The owner answered (didn't know he was the owner until later) and said that she wasn't in yet, but would be there at 3. He said that they don't have access to her schedule, that she does her own scheduling so I would have to call back to see if she was open. I called back at 3:05. The owner answered again and said that she was still running behind and hadn't made it in yet, but that he was pretty sure her schedule was open and she would have no problem getting us in after I had explained our time-sensitive situation and the fact that it was a birthday celebration. I called back at 3:53. "I'm so sorry, but she still isn't in yet. She should be here any minute now, though." I told him it was more important that we were able to be seen around 4:45 because I needed to get him back to Brownsburg around 5:30. He said, "no worries. She is clear and it shouldn't be a problem at all." When we got there, we waited for the piercer to come tell us that she's fully booked and will have to schedule a time next week because she's very busy with a wedding and all kinds of other things. Through tears, "This is all he wanted to do for his actual birthday. I understand it isn't your fault, but this is seriously upsetting and I would have called around to other places if I had known that." She kept replying with no empathy and saying "SORRY, BUT THIS IS HOW WALK INS WORK" and I kept trying to tell her that I understood, but maybe whoever answers the phone shouldn't say things like, "It should be no problem getting you in, " if he doesn't know. I said several times that I'm not upset with her, just upset with the situation and needing to feel heard as well as give them some feedback on how their communication impacts people-- with tears pouring down my cheeks. And then a man comes in from outside while we are talking about what was said on the phone and he immediately interrupts us with an already raised voice saying, "I TOLD YOU I DIDN'T HAVE HER SCHEDULE AND THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO TALK TO HER AND I THINK IT'S FUCKED UP THAT YOU ARE TREATING MY PIERCER LIKE THIS." "You said it the first time we talked but the 2 other times you told me it wouldn't be a problem getting us in." Voice raised a little more, "I DIDN'T SAY THAT. I TOLD YOU YOU'D HAVE TO WAIT FOR HER." "I don't appreciate the way you're talking to me. I'm just trying to express how I've been impacted and disappointed by the communication today." He started to back down and said, "I'm sorry, I'm just taking ownership of this business and she has limited availability." I thought we were going to round a corner here. "I understand. I was in the service industry for 22 years, which is why I'm just trying to be heard here. To help everyone be better. I agree that on our first call you told me I would have to wait and talk to her. But the 2 following calls, you assured me that we would be able to get in." (After this point, the exact words exchanged are a little fuzzy due to the adrenaline thanks to my fight or flight) Yelling now, "I DIDN'T FUCKING SAY THAT AND I DON'T GIVE A SHIT WHAT YOU THINK I SAID....." and a chain of other things I don't remember because, adrenaline. That was when flight kicked in and as we started walking toward the door. I told him we wouldn't be back and told him to "go fuck himself". He followed me out the door SCREAMING, "GO THEN, BITCH! I DON'T GIVE A FUCK WHAT YOU THINK. GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE YOU STUPID FUCKING CUNT! AND I DON'T CARE IF YOU GIVE ME A BAD REVIEW!" So here you go, Tommy. Let's see how your business runs when future customers see that you scream CUNT at crying moms instead of apologizing for miscommunications. read more

Came in here about two weeks ago in search of a nose ring. I've had my nose stud in (the long one you wear after getting it pierced) for a long time and was ready for a change. I had gotten the wrong size before and was hopeful to get the right one this time. I walked in and was greeted by a nice guy who asked how he could help. I told him why I came in and he told my my nose ring size, which was apparently 18 3/8ths. He said they didn't have that size and to next time call to check so I don't waste my gas. After , I looked for another shop and had my husband check to see if they had the size in. Found a spot and spent $80 on a nose ring. While I was trying to put it in in the car, it wouldn't go in. I was super annoyed and hoping I wasn't about to have a repeat situation of when I got my first nose ring and it also didn't fit. Unfortunately, this ring did not fit and I couldn't return it, for obvious reasons. I called this shop back and talked to the same guy. I told him what happened and he said I could stretch my nose. I've stretched a previous monroe, and also my lobes before. So, I wasn't to worried about it. He recommended taking a hot shower and the stretching. It took a while but the hoop did go in. He said it would feel like a "pimple" for about a day and then should be fine. It did not heal. I had it in for two weeks and my nose just stayed swollen and sore the whole time. I started to get some pus action and decided to just switch back to my original stud. The dude was nice so I feel bad for writing this review, but please be sure to actually look at someone's piercing to figure out the size instead of just blurting out the most common size. I now have two nose rings I can't use, wasted funds, and a sore nose. I went in specifically so someone could help me with my piercing but I ended up in a worse situation. Painful lesson, literally. read more

I called around 2 and Mary (Mariee) answered and was able to schedule me for 2:30. Due to working in the medical field I mentioned I would wear a mask in. When it was time to give me my nose piercing she work a mask so I could take mine off. The whole time she made conversation and made me comfortable as she got everything ready. She was informative of the care I would have to provide for it after. She was very sweet and I would definitely come to her again. Also note the people on their website isn't updated. I recently had my nose pierced by Cogan and it was a great experience. I've had it pierced before but it healed up as I lost the jewelry. Cogan was super helpful with making sure it was exactly what I wanted. He made me feel super relaxed and comfortable and answered all of my questions. Not that it's a painless experience, but out of the three piercings I've gotten this was the most gentle, if that makes any sense. I also have had hardly any soreness in the spot where it was pierced which was very different from my last experience. I will absolutely be returning for any other piercings! read more

Walked in on a Saturday night and was helped right away by Ian. He was very personable and informative when my husband and I were considering getting our fingers tattooed on the inside. Because of the location, tattoos don't always look good here and I'm thankful for Ian's honesty and suggesting the top of the finger or elsewhere. My husband ended up getting the letter "K" on top of his finger and I got an "M" on my wrist. Such a great experience! I had my ears pierced years ago and had allowed the holes to fill in. My goal was to get them redone and the first few places I called told me I would need to call when their piercer was in. This place had an opening that day. I wasn't sure what to expect with all of the COVID stuff happening. The only thing I had to do was schedule an appointment to help them control the amount of people. The piercer was incredibly kind and explained everything that would be happening. He gave great detail about the cost and the aftercare as well. Couldn't recommend more for piercing. read more

The man that did my tattoo took extra time to make several corrections to the tattoo when I had minor critiques to the original mark up drawing. He took frequent breaks and made sure I had time to do what I needed to make myself comfortable!
