I went to Christie for about 3-4 sessions, I forget at this point... and what she did to me has made continuing removal extremely hard for me, the damage to my skin from her was THAT great in only 3 sessions. I have had to put removals on a huge halt over the years, I'm 5 years into removal, and at this point I'm 15 treatments in. Treatments have had to be extremely gentle due to how much hypopigmentation , hyperpigmentation and skin texture damage Christie caused. I put off my wedding as long as I could, thinking nearly 5 years would've been enough time to remove my half sleeve enough for a coverup... especially since Christie told me my removal should only take 6-8 sessions? Which In hindsight... is an INSANE red flag for lack of experience. Now, I hope she has improved her craft, and I genuinely hope the best for her... but having to spend my life covering myself, being embarrassed from the scarring, and knowing my hand will never be able to be in the sun again makes me think that leaving a review and upsetting Christie is nothing compared to what I've had to deal with and will have to continue spending thousands of dollars to try and fix. Think I'm dramatic? Look at these pictures. These are ONLY after Christie's sessions. Not any other technician I've gone to. Because of Christie, full removal may not even be possible anymore ... but my current technician is the best in the business.. so we shall see. I just wish I could go back. Defend myself against her gaslighting of , "you didn't ice enough". No amount of icing could have prevented any of this. I just wish I would've advocated for myself and challenged her "no refund" policy. I hope you think about me forever Christie, because I have no choice but to think about you every time I look at my freakin hand. I don't want to hear from you, I don't want an apology. We do it day of and I'm never charged for the extra time we spend on this. This is a very common practice in this industry (people steal art all the time), rather than seeing your work before you come in for your appointment. There's really no other way for tattoo artists to protect their art and I consider their art sacred. The tattoo community in CO runs deep and we have so many talented artists to choose from. I know what style of tattoos Cody does and I love to approach him with ideas I think he may like. He has never turned me away and we always create beautiful art together (but it's mostly him).
