This review is in reference to Rob's review. I am Hunter, the artist that did his tattoo. Rob came to me two or three days before he was set to deploy overseas and wanted a very simple tattoo, the three letters "EOD" and a star to signify that he just became an EOD senior (Explosive Ordinace Disposal). Before tattooing we make up a stencil and that stencil is what will get tattooed. With his tattoo it was very simple. We placed the stencil onto his skin and from that point he said he was satisfied with the placement, otherwise we wouldn't have tattooed it on him. We don't force anyone to get something that we don't want. So if he didn't like the placement ( which seems to be his main complaint) why did he let me tattoo it? I had centered the lettering off of the crabs shell. If you look at the crab legs, they are not the same on each side so it makes it look off centered. The crab was done elsewhere. As for the star, its literally smaller than a dime and again, Rob you did approve it, and it was not freehanded, it was drawn on with a surgical marker. I don't know how much detail you were looking for in such a tiny star. After the tattoo that we only charged $50 for Rob still gave me a $20 tip. Why would you tip if you were not happy with it? I was former military as well and if anyone would have gotten our insignia tattooed on them we would make fun of them even if it was a really awesome tattoo. So when I asked Rob if his buddies were making fun of him for getting "EOD" tattooed he blew up and was cursing at me over the phone repeatedly. Even still I asked him what he would like us to do about it? I called him back three times, and my partner Judy called him back 5 or 6 times and he never returned our calls. If anyone questions that feel free to stop in and we'll show you that we saved our calls, his message and the messages we sent to him. We did make multiple attempts to please this customer despite his rude attitude and his tattoo idea that he clearly did not think through. So in the end we think Rob was very emotional and irrational probably due to his upcoming deployment as well as his buddies giving him a hard time for getting that tattooed. If you work at walmart and you got walmart tattooed on you, would people make fun of you? Case and point. If you'd like to check out the picture, it is still on our Facebook Page, you be the Judge. One of the best shops I've been too! I have 7 other tattoos and have had my fair share of mistakes. I went in and talked to Inkline about a cover up job for one of these mistakes. They took time to listen to EXACTLY what I wanted, draw out the design, and listen to my feedback. They went over the care instructions with me and talked me through every step. They were VERY friendly and listened to everything I needed during the process. I've gotten SO many compliments on this piece. You can't tell it is a cover up at all. It's become one of my favorites tattoos! I have already started talking to them about my next tattoo session. I'm VERY excited to go back to get the next piece. I have had issues with keloid-type scarring in the past, so I have been hesitant to get my first tattoo. Hunter and Judy recommended a "dry run" to tattoo a small area with no ink. Judy went over the care instructions in detail, and Hunter walked me through every step of the process. I can't wait to get the rest done and already have plans for my next few tats. P.S. When you're reading negative reviews from others, bear in mind there are competing shops that don't like Inkline's pricing structure, so they're trying to retaliate in a childish manner. I love love love love this studio! They're not only professional and friendly, they're damn good artists and reasonably priced. Yes, you put half down, but when you're a private studio, you don't have time for people to not show or that's your money you're losing. I had a 7 hour session with Hunter, and he cared about not only the tattoo, but how I was doing through the whole thing. Judy made sure I understood EVERYTHING even though I have other tattoos, and Leeann at the front desk is extremely friendly and helpful. I won't go anywhere else from now on. It only took one look at the online portfolio of the owner for me to realize that this was not the place to get tattooed. Ever. If you want a tattoo that is going to continue looking horrible then go here. Me, I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere. People only like them because they give free tattoos and even those look bad. Please people research your artist before you ever let them touch you. A tattoo is permanent and you want the best so don't settle for cheep gimmicks. read more

Judy and Hunter are both awesome tattoo artists, Judy has now done 4 of my tattoos which have all turned out beautifully and Hunter has done 2 half sleeves on my husband that are amazing. Not only do they do amazing work, they have great pricing, the shop is always clean, it's a great environment, but most of all, they've became great friends of ours!! My wife won a FREE tattoo from Inkline. She had her consult with Hunter and Judy, came home and told me how welcome she felt, how friendly the staff was in the studio and how fun & light the atmosphere was. When the day came to have her ink done, she came home with the most awesome chest piece I have ever seen. This place is GREAT! Hunter and Judy are very friendly and personable...NOT just about the money. My husband is going in later this week to finish the piece that Hunter has been working on in memory of his mother and so far it is beautiful. Great experience today with Inkline! From the time I scheduled my consult to the time ink was applied, the staff at Inkline were extremely courteous and professional. Judy was extremely thorough explaining the consent forms and after care, and Hunter is the best tattoo artist I have dealt with in over 10 years!
