2 stars for staff. Very friendly. They ran out of Chicken cheese steak it was only 3pm so bad on management part. The only thing Philly about this place were the team photos/memorabilia on the wall. Everyone was southern, I neither saw nor heard one Yankee! I don't know what part of "Philly" these people were from, the hero's were not fully loaded, expensive and salty. This place made me want to drive to Philly to get an authentic one! I/we won't be back! Went there over the weekend and wow.... it was like being in Philly again. Everyone was very helpful. Both my wife and myself got the 12" Cheese Steak and fries and she ended up taking half home. I did eat it all (and I am a big guy), but was really full. Even though we are 2 hours away, this place will see us again when we need a true Philly fix. read more

Not from Philly but from PA. Each area seems to have a variation on the cheesesteak. The one at my favorite haunt made their bread and had a little sauce in it. We ordered two of the 18 in cheesesteaks. Plus a canoe. Our cheesesteaks were excellent but I don't understand the cheese. There was no shortage of meat in our cheese steaks. Next time can I get them with the cheese not so melted? The canoe reminds me of a deep fried Stromboli. I loved it and so did everyone else. My only comment or question would be why can't I order it with mustard inside. We got ham cheese pepperoni sauce and was missing mustard. Try it it is wonderful combo. Ok. So my brother says I have to eat here. I did. SO GOOD. Philly cheesesteak with provo, onion, shrooms and peppers. A side boat of tater tots. A 7" sandwich loaded on a soft hoagie roll = perfection! Juicy, tasty. My brother's Inky was a perfect burger on an English Muffin. Grilled onions, provolone, he opted for no shrooms. Oh! The second I opened the door till the second I walked out the door you feel like family. The young lady took my order and was pleasant about it and smiled. The other server was super nice and professional as well. The philly (I've visit Philadelphia a lot) is made in great bread and let me tell you this in house roll they use is freaking amazing. Best cheesesteaks ever. We have had them all over and these are by far the best. No frills kinda place. They do make u pay for any toppings such as lettuce or tomato or hot peppers but the prices are reasonable. Was in the area at the car dealership and got hungry because every one knows you at the dealership for hours when you go..I remembered someone someone telling me about this place so I decided to give it a try..glad I did..the restaurant is in a plaza..they do have plenty of space and ample seating..mostly booths against the wall and a few table in the front..I got a little overwhelmed when I was looking at the menu board behind the line on the wall..I really had trouble figuring out what kinda of cheesesteak I wanted..the young lady at the counter must have knew I was lost cause she just told me to tell her what I wanted on it and she would figure it out..I ordered the colossal (lol) with onions sweet peppers mayo and lettuce..I made it a combo with tots and a drink..so after you pay..they give you your drink-they use paper cups- and a. Umber then you sit where you want. The servers are pretty swift in drink refills and delivering your food..the food arrived pretty quickly and I was impressed. The sandwich was cut in half and it was a monster..it was piping hot too..they give you packets of mayo on the side so you put that on yourself..it was full of flavor and had ample amount of meat..the tots were hot and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside..what you expect from a good tot..it was a great overall visit and if I am ever in the area again I will def return read more

I have come to Inkys for a long time. There's no doubt they have amazing phillys. I've never had an issue until today. Apparently they frown upon picky toddlers. I brought my daughter with me today and brought her chick fila in. They were extremely rude to the point where I'll never give them my business again. My philly from Inky's was so disappointing. I ordered the 12" original to go. 5 minutes later I unwrap it and the whole bottom of the paper is drenched in oil! I had literally a 1/4" of standing oil under the sandwich. The bread was soggy and falling apart, the meat barely covered half the sandwich, and it was all very bland. Salt and pepper would have been a miracle. Even with all that grease and oil, the bread felt dry in my mouth. I'm so sad to have driven all the way from TR for this. read more

Totally pleased with my cheesesteak and tots. In fact, surprisingly, the tots were remarkably tasty. I don't even know how they accomplished this since I can't imagine they did more than dump them in a fryer. As for the cheesesteak, it was really good. If I were passing through town again and stopping here, I'd double up the cheese. I also added mushrooms. The cheesesteak was made fresh and tasted that way. Other than that, your just have to figure out what size sandwich to order- 7", 12" or 18". The wait staff was very good, asking frequently about filling our drinks or if we needed anything.
