Tropical Burger was really a tropical disappointment. Got the tiger burger and Cheese fries and the presentation was on point, however it did not taste as good as it looked. The burger had little to no flavor and the patties were slightly overcooked. The fries were overcooked and the cheese sauce was sweet, watery, and frankly not even cheesy. $42 is way too much for this type of cooking. Basically paid for the looks. Came in expecting a new go to burger spot and came out sad. read more

Tropical burger is a family owned joint that makes burgers very similar in style to five guys but better. I ordered the sugar daddy burger which includes cheese, carmelized onions, bacon, pineapple and house sauce. I ended up adding an extra patty and jalapeños. Total the burger was about $15. The patty was fresh and not frozen and very generous in size. I actually regretted adding an extra patty because they were so large, about 1/3 of a pound. Toppings were great and the caramelized onions were legit! I order the tater tots as a side and they were good not great, one order was plenty for two people to share. read more

I have been a customer since 2021. I have always ordered and enjoyed the Big Mama Burger every time I have gone there. Every person has been very likable and kept the place clean. 17 June 2024- This time was a major back slide. The last time my crew has been was Nov 2023. This time it was just shy of $20 for the Big Mama, fries and drink. Looking at my history, it was just over $16. Well the hamburger patty was much smaller and looked like a smash patty that was overcooked (crispy). There was the over greased fried chicken and the fried cheese block. What was missing was the fried jumbo (or any) onion ring, cheese or sauce. I had just looked a disbelief in that this is what has become the standard for a $20 lunch meal. An employee did attempt to say they would remake or refund, however after making excuses for the product it seams the like many out there the pass for the loss of quality over profits. I just believe that was a severance pay for what was a great place to eat. To make things a bit more disrespectful was a customer was in line waiting for someone to serve them, and was dismissed for what ever reason. I always had spoken/ referred Tropical Burger for a great stylize burger. Now I will not bring them up. read more

Reading all the reviews on this place has led me to wanting to try this for a while myself and tonight I finally got that chance and I must say that they did not disappoint Make sure you get plenty of napkins, take your time and savor every bite. Some things are not to be rushed and this is a meal that you'll want to sit down and enjoy it's a older building but they do a good job on its cleanliness and it has that small business atmosphere. read more

Stopped in for lunch during the weekend. Ordered the old fashioned burgers and a large fry to share. The burgers were a good size and the patties were thin and crispy which we like. I love that they have lettuce wrap options, and the lettuce and other ingredients are so fresh! I love the creative toppings on the different burger options. Like the Mexican one and the grilled pineapple Hawaiian one (forgot the name) Healthy and foodie options! Score! Their tots are really good! Fries just okay, but my son liked them. The customer service is great, with really nice guys behind the counter, who are friendly and patient and helpful. Inside was clean. Very basic set up that could use a little facelift, but no big deal and is a casual spot to grab food. I love that they have other cheese options other than American. Pepper jack, Swiss, I believe, etc. It's nice to be able to get a kids cheeseburger without American cheese is the only option. My only small complaint, is that I feel the burger patties themselves, could have a little more flavor, and be a bit more moist. But they are still good with all of the toppings, and we will keep coming back. I'd like to try the other things on the menu as well. read more

Wow! We just moved to Easley and randomly decided to try this place today. We got our food to go because we have a crazy toddler. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. When we informed them that we were new, he stepped out from behind the counter and thoroughly explained the menu and recommendations and sauces. The building was clean and the atmosphere was welcoming. We got a lot on the menu. It was all so delicious. We'll be back. read more

The burgers are good. Have eaten the original and spicy one with jalapeño. The fries are good too but my only complaint is the place lacks AC. That's what made my experience rate this place 2 stars the heat was unbelievably hot outside and the inside with no AC or not a strong AC made it worse I didn't enjoy my time here, next time I'll order to go read more

Yo this place is an amazing find! Was trying to find a semi fast place to eat while my was asleep in the car and we hit the jackpot. I got the sugar daddy minus the onion cause I don't like em. So juicy but also many different amazing flavors it's insane. My husband got the big mama minus onions n bbq and it's also to die for, almost too much cheese he said. I'm not crazy about chicken on a sandwich but it gives it even more great flavor. We came in a Saturday night only took maybe 10 minutes to get the food and they cook it right there in front of you. We also ordered tots and the churros. Tots could have been cooked a little longer but that's just my preference. The churros were so good, a must try. And we are stuffed! Unfortunately, at least the day we went, the trash bins were right next to the outdoor tables and the flies were a big nuisance, so we moved inside. The easily location was the first location we tried. We live in Greenville and ate there. on our way back from Clemson. The food was amazing and the service providers were so kind. Probably one of my favorite burgers in the upstate. I had the Tiger Burger and Onion Rings. It was straight forward honest ingredients. Nothing fancy. The Swiss cheese, bacon and carmalized onion, bbq sauce AND Mayo was great. The Pattie's were seasoned and you could taste that. The pickles were crisp and briney. My only complaint was due to Mother Nature. It's a small place with a tiny A, unit and it is ridiculously hot out today. I'll be back for sure! read more

Passed through town on a road trip and found this dank af place. It ruled so hard. Had a Big Mama which had a burger patty, a crispy chicken patty, and a slice of tempura fried cheese that was so thick and rad it defied all belief. I may not poop again for a year. But that's OK. I eat a lot of cheese so that's normal. Burgers are the squished and crunchy old school type and it was rad. Dudes were super cool there also.
