We will never be back. It was FILTHY. No actual customer service. You seat yourself (if you dare) and go get your food from the counter when they call your name. I didn't realize this beforehand because it was our first time here. So I told the girl at the counter we were dining in. Out of all of the tables there was only one that was clean enough. Not to say that people who worked there didn't walk around and pick up trays- they did, but they didn't bother cleaning off tables or chairs or sweeping the floor. We got to-go boxes and left. The food is decent but it isn't good enough to sit in the filth. Too many good restaurants to suffer that. read more

This is a great family restaurant, they have a good variety on the menu, something for everyone. The bird dog is a favorite amongst the teenagers in the area. The staff is nice and friendly, helpful with questions. Reasonable priced, clean restaurant, has great atmosphere. Family owned. If you have not been yet you need to go at least once. Unprofessional.... A family member recommended this restaurant in conversation as a great place to eat. We "Googled" the restaurant to determine their closing time on 6/27/16. Realizing they close at 9 PM, we decided to run in and place a to-go order so I could "try them". As we walked through the door, at approximately 8:54pm, we heard the "manager" tell the cashier, "Tell them we're closed." I walked up to the counter and the cashier informed us they were closed. I asked the cashier to confirm closing time & she confirmed it was 9 PM and apologized pitifully stating she was simply repeating what her manager had told her to say. Unfortunately, and as some of the reviews indicate, the food may be good but I will never know. Because of the lack of professionalism of the management of this establishment, they will never gain my business nor any potential referrals. What this manager failed to realize is that I may have ordered a glass of water, which would've taken 30 seconds to prepare and enable him to be $.50 richer OR I may have been planning to place a catering order for my business to serve a meal for hundreds of people at a later date. As a business owner, I would like to remind this establishment to be careful how you treat potential customers. Business is built upon good customer service & lasting relationships. Most importantly, never "judge a book by its cover" or make an assumption of a potential customer's intentions, regardless of their race, your ignorance/personal stereotypes or if your feet are tired from standing over a hot greasy grill all day. read more

After living in Powdersville over 6 years, we finally decided to try this place out! We saw the drive thru and thought, what the heck let's try it! Their drive thru speaker system was not working after sitting there for a minute or so, so we drove up to the window. Apparently it's been broken for over two years, no sign indicating that or anything so we thought that was weird! I got the patty melt while my husband got the BBQ chicken sandwich with onion rings. We waited roughly 20 minutes for the food which wasn't awful, but oooh was it worth it. Diner food is my favorite and this place has it down! The onion rings were sooo crispy and the Texas toast was perfect. Definitely will be going here again, just called ahead first! The staff was really nice and helpful, prices were fair! read more

I have been in with my wife on a few occasions and have eaten salads each time. Huge salad. It's served on a styrofoam plate, so no joke, the atmosphere is on the low end. I had an ok experience here. Not the greatest. Food took a long while to come out. The gyro was good and tzakiki. My hubby liked the fries. It just sat wrong with me that they served the baked potato with nothing, no butter, nope nothing. I had to go up and she said they charge extra for fixings. Went there for lunch because I wanted to patronize a local restaurant I was told there would be a 30 minute wait which I agreed to but 45 minutes later I still had not received my order (chicken munchie and bacon cheeseburger plate). I love Nickhenry's greek salad with grilled chicken -- the veggies are fresh, the chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the dressings taste homemade! The fried chicken strips are great too, but I usually opt for the salad and just swipe a crinkle cut fry from my husband's plate. He gets the birddog ( a chicken strip on a hot dog bun with cheese, honey mustard, bacon). If you're going to go through the drive thru, call your order in first. They don't seem thrilled about getting new customers from coupon programs, which always fascinates me because it's proof that the advertising worked and if it were me I'd be thrilled. I went here because I was working on this side of town. Family owned, friendly staff. Older restaurant but they have good food. Menu is clear and so are prices. I got the grilled chicken pita basket with extra fries. The fries are crispy and golden. My pita sandwich was full of chicken and extremely fresh vegetables. I will be back! We ate there for the first time yesterday and overall it was really good. My husband liked the BBQ sandwich a lot and our fries were hot, crispy and just wonderful (a tad too much salt but nothing that can't be tapped off). I love the pickle spear. I got the patty melt and it was just barely okay. It had a good flavor but the beef patty was tiny - thin and small. The chopped, grilled onions were very good; it was on Texas toast and that was good but it was lots dryer than patty melts are supposed to be. A bigger beef patty and more butter on both pieces of bread are definitely needed. While we'll definitely be back, I won't order the patty melt again. NEVER AGAIN!! My husband and I have been ordering take out from this establishment for over 10 years. Tonight is the end to many Friday night take outs from NickHenry's. I called, ordered, was told 15 mins. We arrived right at 15mins. There was a car in drive-thru so instead of waiting my husband went inside. He paid and stepped aside. An order to go was placed on the kitchen counter (open counters) and the kitchen guy says "order up". The food sits on counter 5mins (husband timed) before the girl bags, then she walks away. During the 5 mins there are 3 girls, one answering phone, one talking to a guy, and one complaining about it being slow for a Friday night. My husband finally ask one of the girls to check on his food. She hands him the bag that had been sitting open for 5 mins, then bagged sitting for another few mins. He asked to speak to a manager. The manager was the owner, Nick. My husband NEVER complains, but this had upset him. He just wanted to let someone in charge now how long his food had sat on that counter while he was waiting. My husband said when Nick did not start with an apology, but excuses, he knew Nick was not going to be receptive to his complaint. I called Nick to express my concern on the situation. I felt Nick may have misunderstand that my husband was just trying to make him aware of the cold food we had just received. My husband did not want anything for free only an apology of his employees lack attention. Nick spoke to me like a low class citizen. He informed me that I had no clue what it was like to work in a business of his type. I was happy to tell Nick that I have worked in the restaurant business. I was taught the customer was right 98% of the time, management never makes excuses, and you apologize and if need be offer a free drink. I do believe if you are not in the group of Mr. Nick's realm, you are considered a nobody. Nick needs an attitude change. I called back to ask when the other owner would be in so I could talk with him. Nick informed me that the other owner would not listen to me or my husband. We are not welcome at his establishment.
