Go for a swim, chill, or just take a long walk along the shoreline as this beach caters to anyone's needs. This lively place has it all; beach bars, families building sandcastles, and people parasailing/riding jetskis. There are so many seafood spots nearby too and there's even a pontoon rental or tours to the beautiful Shell Island, which I unfortunately missed out on but won't be making that mistake the next time around. Panama City Beach is a mix of perfect sand and warm temps. Yes it's that spring break spot so great for college students during that time and I'd probably steer clear during that time of the year but any of other time of the year it's the place to be for everyone else!

My neighborhood best friend, Charlotte's family, included me on their family vacation to PCB to stay in a motel with a *swimming pool* in PCB one summer when we were around ten or eleven years old. I still fondly remember our version of "crabbing" where we got a. a flashlight and b. a plastic bucket and scoured the actual PC beach at sundown to catch tiny crabs. We had so much fun doing this and absolutely begged her Momma to let us take them home and keep them as pets, which, of course was denied, and we would sadly release the little guys back to the edge of the Gulf! Fast forward a few years and my high school Sorority stayed either one or two weeks in a much nicer hotel in PCB with our fraternity brothers acting as chaperones (along with real chaperones). We girls worked so hard to earn the money for this trip meaning: gas, food, one night out to Captain Anderson's for a dinner cruise, one night out at a club (with fake IDs), any additional cash we would need (beer, putt-putt, additional clubbing nights) etc. We sailed in Hobie Cats for several days, and all wore our best spaghetti-strapped dresses and open toed shoes for our Captain Anderson's dinner cruise!! It wasn't a pleasant experience with the condo at Grand Panama Beach Resort 1-306 or the lack of…read moreresolution with Panhandle Getaways. Upon arrival, the condo had a strong musty, mildew-like odor and it was reported. A ozone machine was delivered but could only be run while we were gone, which we did but it wasn't effective. Maintenance came by the next day and determined that there wasn't visible evidence of mildew and suggested that it was most likely sour carpet and cloth furniture from the humidity and moisture. We ran the ceiling fans our entire stay. Housekeeping also came by to clean the LVP flooring because it was dirty. We provided updates via text daily but no one called and responses provided no further action, only another apology. Pet fees charged separately by the resort were also higher than we were quoted by Panhandle Getaways and several inquiries were made with no response.

I can't stress enough how valuable it is to purchase an annual SP pass, Florida has so many beautiful parks if you are traveling across the state this annual pass will more than pay for itself. Visiting this park during the off season was especially rewarding, no crowds so we practically had the entire beach to ourselves, the white sugar sand and clear warm water was the perfect place to be on a warm fall day. Although shelling was a disappointment the abundance of wildlife and native plants more than made up for it. This is definitely a state park I'd return too, maybe spend a few days here in the RV when in the area...

There are beach chair rentals you can reserve, or you can bring your own chairs/tents/umbrellas. There do have the police driving up and down the beach frequently to ensure no laws are being broken. It shouldn't be hard, but for some a respect for nature has completely died. You would think people would pick up their own trash, not use glass bottles, you know leave without any footprints ? It's amazing to see how well kept this beach is, and for those who are inconsiderate and don't think to clean up after themselves typically the locals or the police will give you a reminder. For us it was no problem at all, we did mention it to a few of the younger crowds to make sure they threw their trash away and bottles and cans. Leave it clean so it will stay beautiful!

There is plenty to do here if you want to stay for a few hours or vacation for a few weeks. Walking around felt like I was back in Europe , there are beautiful architectural buildings and homes with the charm of Nantucket or the Hamptons. Luxury all around and perfect for families , couples or weddings. My hubby and I are looking to come back and book a home for a nice long week. Definitely a must visit.

Being back for the first time in almost two decades you really do feel what has changed -- the loud traffic and crowds on the 30A, the bad price/quality ratio at a lot of the beach joints, the fact that you have to have a special electronic wristband to walk in to the Tupelo Beach Pavillion . . . On the other hand, the sand is still that magical white, with smooth enticing entry into the Gulf. And as my son and I rode a pair of tricycles through the streets a few blocks further inland, and it was so quiet that all we could hear was the breeze, I almost felt the magic again.

For such a pricey service, we were left very underwhelmed. I ended up texting the support number, but never received a response. Based on the lack of follow up and general care with our reservation, I recommend going with another company.

Starting out with the patio light entrance and the nice comfortable beach chairs, to the two magnificent bonfires. We had S'mores and it was so fun roasting marshmallows again which I have not done for about three years. They had sparklers which was fun to watch and participate in. The ambiance was perfect for mingling and having fun. The young gentleman who was keeping the fires attended did a great job and he was very personable. I highly recommend this company for a wonderful beach bonfire experience.

Lots of cool buildings and it is about a 1/2 mile walk to the beach. There are some Pokemon stops if you play that game. The beach was nice and we spent about 30 minutes walking up and down the beach. It was a really nice day and this place is definitely worth a stop.
