I've been to so many weddings where the only thing I remember about them is how horrible the DJ was. I'm talking about those guys who love nothing more than to hear their own voices and keep the mic glued to their mouths for the entire 4 hours...the guys who insist on dragging reluctant guests to the dance floor for The Chicken Dance and The Electric Slide (in some cases when they were specifically told NOT to play those songs)...the guys who have a creepily good time with the sunglasses, leis, and blow up instruments....the guys who SING OVER the music....you know what I'm talking about. We've all seen THOSE guys. Well, Greg is NOT one of those guys. He's really laid back and professional. He plays what you want and doesn't play what you don't. He keeps things moving without making himself the center of attention. If you WANT the props and The Cha Cha Slide (or whatever it's called), he will definitely play them for you, but if you don't, he's cool with that. He basically caters his performance to whatever your preferences are and respects your choices. Basically, he's just a really reliable, professional DJ. I got a lot of compliments on the music at my wedding, as did my sister and friend. Prices were very reasonable too, compared to others I contacted.

I got married in 2007 and everyone was out on the dance floor! He's been in the business for a long time and he loves what he does. He's professional, reliable, and he thrives on the excitement of people dancing and having a great time. He makes sure he has the latest, most up to date music, and if he doesn't have a song you want, he will get it (but that's rare!). I can't tell you how many times I've asked the DJ at weddings to play a certain song and they never have it! So frustrating. Greg is seriously the best. I always recommend Greg to all of my friends and family for any event.

The initial interactions were good- they were able to fit us in, even though it was for a Saturday night in June and we called only 2 months in advance. They promptly sent us a contract and we were booked! Prices: The prices were VERY reasonable. I researched alot of other companies and this one gave the best value, in my opinion. It's a lot cheaper than many of the companies that advertise on Facebook or on the wedding planning websites- but don't let that fool you- they were very good! Day of the event: Alan, our attendant, arrived about 45 minutes early to set up and was ready to go at the start of our event. He was very helpful and aided our guests in filling out our photobooth picture guest book. Extras: I really liked that the booth printed out a picture for every person in the booth. That was awesome. Also, you could choose either a color, B&W, or sepia picture. AND they brought along a prop bin, that was the hit of our party!

In the age of I phones and GPS this is unbelievable. We hired a local company and they told us they had already done parties at this venue (located at the intersection of two mayor roads). Eventually he stopped answering his phone. I had paid a deposit and bought supplies to use with some equipment we were renting from them. In addition I had to pay someone else to improvise after I spending the first hour and a half of our party with a room full of kids and no music or DJ! We paid a lot of money for this venue because they had a nice dance area because dancing and music was to be the main activity during the party. After repeated attempts to contact them after the party (e-mails, texts, etx) it took took them a month to finally refund my deposit and send an apology. A little late. Do not recommend (Hide)

DJ Demby is friendly, outgoing, and incredibly energetic -- and it shows in the way he connects with both kids and adults. The dance floor was packed all night. Every age group was fully engaged, having fun, and genuinely enjoying themselves. His music selection was spot-on, perfectly reading the crowd and keeping the momentum going from start to finish. The dancers were phenomenal and added so much excitement they kept the kids entertained and involved the entire time. Everything ran seemingly and exactly as promised. The flow of the evening was smooth, well-timed, and stress-free, which made such a difference for us as parents. DJ Demby and his team created an amazing atmosphere throughout the event. One of the most special highlights was the candle lighting ceremony. Each candle had a meaningful song dedicated to the person lighting it, which made the moment incredibly personal and emotional. It was done so thoughtfully and professionally truly unforgettable. DJ Demby exceeded our expectations in every way. His professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail made our daughters' Bat Mitzvah celebration a night we will never forget. If you want a DJ who brings incredible energy, keeps everyone dancing, and delivers exactly what he promises (and more!), DJ Demby is the one. We would recommend him without hesitation.

His timing was impeccable, music was eclectic and energizing, and the guests didn't want to leave! I overheard several attendees mention his great work and the parents guaranteed to use his services for their younger children. The venue layout had several levels and rooms so I was very impressed with DJ Mike Demby's ability to work the crowd and get everyone involved. In addition, he worked so great with the kids that during a game one team named themselves, "We Love Mike"! LOL Hands down, an awesome guy!! I am definitely recommending him to others!!

I came here recently for a Flashback Cinema showing--it's a series in which many independent theaters play vintage classic movies from the 80s and 90s. I had a blast! It's so fun to see historic blockbusters on the big screen. This is a low-key, no frills venue. There is a modest snack stand at the front and older style seating. I came for a Sunday matinee and it was not busy. There was a family who had rented out one of the rooms, which seems like a cool thing to do. Tickets are $10 and below. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you want a nostalgic theater experience and the chance to see some classic films.

Tickets are $10 ($9 for military, $8 for kids), and they have a special on Wednesday's for $6 tickets. Soft drinks and Icees are $6 or $7 by size. Popcorn is $7, $8, or $9 (of $15 for a giant tub that gets $2 refills). Popcorn and drinks are also discounted on wednesdays. It's set up almost exactly like a movie theater from twenty years ago. I find that charming and nostalgic, though some might find it dated. Either way, while the configuration is classic, it's clean and properly maintained. And while they don't specialize in having a bunch of IMAX screens or Dolby Atmos, etc., they have crystal clear laser projection and decent audio systems that compare to the non-premium (IMAX, etc.) screens at brand new theaters. You're not looking for that much service-wise at a movie theater snack bar, but the staff were friendly, polite, and did everything the right way. The popcorn was fairly fresh. They have the old school "butter" dispensing machine. It was great to be able to have a nice date night at the movies, complete with the snacks we each wanted, for less than $50 for both of us.
