I have been seeing Dr. Hicks at InMotion since the spring of this year, after reading some good reviews of what they had to offer. I have a unique physical situation, due to years of fighting stage 4 carcinoid cancer, which has left me with an enlarged liver and crooked spine, among other muscular-skeletal issues, so I was looking for something more than just another bone cruncher. I was not at all disappointed. First of all, the facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment and professional staff who do a great job of tailoring your treatment to you physical needs. The massage therapy is excellent, however they are careful not to put too much of a load on the body from toxins that get worked out during treatment and that may already be problematic because of health issues. They are great at striking and maintaining a proper balance and giving you sufficient follow-up instructions to maximize the benefits. Dr. Hicks is also great. I have never found another chiropractor who cares so much about his patients as individuals. Dr. Hicks wants to know all about my cancer treatments, changes that have been made, areas of pain and inflammation, tests, planned and potential treatments, ect., so that he can work with what is already being done to give me the best experience possible. Every time I see him, he asks for an update and finds out where I am at that time and what to focus on during that particular visit to best improve my mobility, overall functionality and pain management. His bench does a great job of stretching out the muscles, joints and vertebrae to increase mobility and relieve pressure from difficult areas. I always leave feeling refreshed and in less pain, as well as more relaxed, more mobile and having overall improvement in my sense of well-being. Dr. Hicks treats me more like a friend than a patient, while giving me the best physical care I could ask for from a chiropractor. He even took time this week to examine one of the wheels on my wheelchair, when he found out that it was sticking. He applied some WD40 and cleaned out a bunch of hair that had built up over time - all without ever being asked to do so. One can understand why I look forward to going in each week and being seen. Also, the muscle stim. at the end of each session is fabulous and has a tendency to make everything feel better, whether you realized you were having issues or not. There are other places much closer to me that offer similar options for treatment, but InMotion is would be worth driving twice the distance we do, because when you find this kind of quality and care you just don't want to go anywhere else. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Hicks for about 3 months now for a back injury I had been putting off getting help with. My injury had worsened and I caved and decided to give Inmotion a try. I appreciated Dr. Hicks approach of taking the adjustments slow and not just giving me a full adjustment right from the first appointment. I trusted his approach and took things slow and repeatedly went back and invested, trusting that it would pay off and it did just as he said. I haven't had much encounter with the rest of the staff but they are all super friendly. I have a 5 month old son and sometimes he tags along with me to my appointments and they are all really accommodating and helpful. I definitely wish I would have done this a lot sooner. I've been a distance runner for several years and had on and off injuries, as usual. I got a bad case of plantar fasciitis that plagued me through TWO YEARS, including a few marathons, triathlons and hours all of my training. Like many, I'm stubborn when it comes to seeing PTs to fix injuries, but I finally bit the bullet and went in to see Heather. Not to sound cliche, but it was literally three to four, 1-hour appointments and the plantar fasciitis was GONE. Not sure why I waited so long?! Since then, I've been going for preventative maintenance and have experienced no other injuries. The prices are great and if you're really nice, they'll make you a cup of coffee! At the races you see a lot of advertisements and hear a lot of reviews of other clinics in town, but I won't go anywhere except InMotion. read more

I can't recommend InMotion enough to those who need chiro, ART, physical therapy or muscle recovery. Heather and Laurel have been keeping me active for years, and help me through many injuries. The ART that Heather performs is top notch. I have had the technique from other therapists in other states, and can vouch that this is not something everyone can do well. Additionally, Laurel is a massage therapist who understands the needs of athletes, and able to preform deep tissue massage that will assist in your recovery and performance. 5 stars is not sufficient for this business. Every person is a true professional in multiple fields. I have had sciatic issues in my right leg for several years and only stretched on my own with little relief. After only 3 weeks, going twice a week, I feel better than I have in 3 years!!!!
