PHENOMENAL!!!! We came from Hunts Castle(aka roach motel) and were greeted with amazing guest service!! The room was so clean and nice, the hot tub was relaxing, comforting, and perfectly warm! The staff also asked us if the hot tub was the right temperature and checked up on us frequently without invading our privacy or annoying us!! The beds were so comfortable, and overall this hotel made us feel safe, cozy, and welcome!!!! 10/10 would FOR SURE recommend and stay again!!! read more

Just returned from a 2 night visit to the Rockport area. This is my second stay. I have to first rave about the beds!!! It was the best mattress I have ever slept on (I think I liked it better than my own.) Linens are a very nice thread count and the beds have good pillows. All the rooms look out on the pool area instead of a parking lot, which is a nice change. Nice to look out at the harbor, pool and palm trees. The rooms are BIG and very clean with plenty of room to safely stow all your gear. No carpet - clean vinyl plank floors. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Big soft towels. We're here right now and guess what... I'm giving them a solid 5 stars. They totally redid their decor and it's 100% trendy and beautiful. Not that it mattered before but now it's just the best overall. We still would've chosen here over any other place. The lady in the front office is just the sweetest. The price fluffy kitty and I are great friends. We hung out tonight on the front porch of my room and she meowed and talked to me for a long time. read more

My handsome man's family has been driving down to the Fulton area to fish for years and years now. Every single worker at this adorable inn knew who the group was and gave a hearty wave every time any of us left our rooms. This year's trip is my first time a) accompanying the family b) going to the Rockport area at all c) fishing since I was six. The inn is located right along the water, a skip and a hop away from bars and restaurants; all found in the smallest town I've ever been in. The rooms are all facing inwards towards an adorable courtyard and pool area, but inside your room is as quiet as it should be, and way quieter than my last stay at a Comfort Inn. The front desk provided us with all the towels our hearts desired, though if they put more in the rooms to begin with it might save them some trouble .. My favorite part of the rooms wasn't the cute mini-kitchen, or the bed large enough for four people, but that the air conditioner kept our room a wonderful 60 degrees the entire weekend! Sunday morning came and I discovered a piece of jewelry very close to my heart had gone missing! I informed the front desk with misty eyes and went on my way. Half way back to Houston the inn called to inform me they had found my ring and would put in the mail for me, no problem! Very helpful, very sweet. The annual family trip will make camp here again next summer, and I will be here along with them! read more

My wife and I haven't been down here since Harvey. This motel is pretty nice. Clean rooms and nice pool. Yes there were some bugs in the room but it's the coast. Beds were comfortable, pool was clean. All in all, we will come back. Staff was friendly. read more

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!! We're return guests and our prior experience with this inn was great. However, this trip was so heinous that we will not be returning and will no longer recommend it to our friends! Late on our last night there I got up to visit the bathroom and there were multiple bugs crawling all over the bathroom! We just stayed in the room since check out was a few hours away. When we told the woman at the front desk and showed her these pictures, her only response was an unenthusiastic "I'll write it down in the log." She didn't seem surprised or concerned at all, she never even apologized. The bugs weren't even the beginning of the problems. We were forced to spend our weekend with an extremely large, loud, rowdy, and intoxicated family. They tried to throw a woman so drunk she couldn't even stand into the pool, when I reported their dangerous behavior the front desk kicked US out of the pool along with the family. Even after that they spent the night screaming and running up and down the courtyard directly outside the front desk, we could hear them from inside our room on the other side of the hotel. I guess the front desk decided it was too much work to keep trying to settle them down because they just let them continue all night long. Also, the hotel handbook that was in our room bragged about amazing "in room dining" but when I called at 10:30pm to order off the menu they provided, I was told that there wasn't any room service or "in room dining" available. Turns out their advertised "in room dining" is actually just delivery from the restaurant across the street that closes at 9 pm on Friday nights!! I double checked the book and there was no mention of time restrictions at all! Overall a very very unpleasant experience at this hotel. read more

Well this is our "go to" Rockport place and we always stay there and any probs we have had , they have fixed ASAP.. We have had (in the past ) some people with poor attitude check us in and work the desk , But there is a young man who is REALLY good that works there and most of the women who work there are also really helpful.. I have never had a Bad room or any probs other than A/C outage on a trip and they fixed our prob as soon as they could .. They have a Fabulous Pool and are in walking distance to C.P. and Moondoggies and all the music venues and bars.. It is a GREAT place to stay! read more

The Inn at Fulton Harbor is the best place to stay in the Rockport/Fulton area. I extended my stay from 2 days to 6 days this last trip! The location is close to restaurants, shopping, and festivals. Being across the street from the harbor, there is easy access to Whooping Crane/boat tours or your own boat if you have one. I parked my car the first day and rarely got into it afterwards. The Inn rooms are large and very clean. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. My room had a kitchen and coffee maker which I enjoyed. I think the rooms have all been redone since Hurricane Harvey. I have spent a lot of time in the Rockport/Fulton area over the years. The Inn at Fulton Harbor is by far my favorite place to stay. read more

From the reservation made by calling in, (rather than online) the welcome was warm. They were so kind to answer all of my questions and didn't make me feel like an idiot for some of the things that I did ask. I had to call a few more times prior to check in to let them know that we were running later than expected but we were still going to keep our room reservation. They were very sweet In letting us know it was ok to be late. Upon arrival, they went over all of the amenities with us and showed us to our room. THESE ROOMS ARE HUGE! They have been updated and are very spacious. The pictures on the website look amazing but this place, in person, is absolutely beautiful. This trip was planned as an all adult trip for some relaxation before school starts. Please believe that my kids would LOVE this place and I can't wait to bring them back. The location is perfect too! It is within walking distance to the Bay, coffee, bars and restaurants. We will return! read more

The harbor area was stunning--5 stars for location. Although the motel was charming in many ways, it is a little run down. Lots of peeling finishes, especially on the furniture. Water for shower was only lukewarm. My biggest complaint is the extreme height of the bed. I'm 5'1" and it was extremely difficult to get into. I had to plant one butt cheek and use the sheets and blanket to pull myself the rest of the way up. It was $239.20 for two rooms, so I expected a little more for the money. read more

We just wrapped up a stay for and extended Easter weekend. The rooms were large, extremely clean, and very comfortable and updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One fo the cleaning ladies helped my 4 year old find Easter eggs that they hid around the complex. The pool is resort quality as is the hot tub. This place is a gem. The people and staff we encountered are the definition of what make Rockport strong! read more

Every year we plan 5-6 fishing trips a year, unfortunately We chose the Inn at Fulton Harbor to stay at this time.. This place was a disaster. Don't ask any questions, when we checked in, the desk clerk was just plain RUDE! When we got to our room, the room was HOT, I thought they would turn on the A/C, guess not. There was a smell that was so bad I wondered when the last time someone had used this room. The smell made our first night horrible. The next morning I went to complain, which was not fun because I had not gotten any sleep from the night before. We had to be out of the room for several hours so they could ionize the room. I think they tried, but our room then smelled sweet, like they poured lime/strawberry scent on the floor to mask the other smell. You would think at this point someone would have checked to see if the problem was resolved. I went to go to the front desk and who do I see, the same clerk that checked us in.....nope, not going there again. I decided to fish almost the whole night to avoid the room. Finally at 4AM I went to the room and slept for 3 hours(thank God for Walgreens, I drove over and picked up some VICK's vapor rub, I put it on my teeshirt and then that was all I could smell). I packed up our stuff and checked out. The bill was presented to us and I about fell on the floor. Here I am, sleep deprived, and they are actually going to charge us for the honor of staying there? I overstepped and asked for a discount and the clerk had to call the manager at home to get approval, at 10AM, maybe if the manager had been at work....maybe if the hotel followed up on complaints/issues.....they gave half off on first night. I waited until the day after I got home to write this review because if I would have written it yesterday it would have listed every thing that went wrong, and the crappy service we received. Oh and just to add a second thought, Charlotte Plumbers Restaurant is owned by the same owner and the food was horrible. Other people were complaining but it went on deaf ears. Seems like some house cleaning needs to be done at both locations. read more

The swimming pool and hot tub were very nice after a long day at the beach! It's perfect walking distance to Charlotte Plummer Restaurant which has great seafood and desserts! Had a lovely stay here. Beds were comfy and the pool was nice. Several great restaurants nearby within walking distance. The only recommendations I would make would be to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. The Inn's shampoo is terrible and conditioner is not provided. I am extremely picky and it is one of the most pleasant places we have ever stayed. The absolute best seafood is right across the street and a very nice pier across the street to fish off of if you want to. The staff is great and the rooms have always been clean. I stayed here about a month ago and meant to write a review then but forgot. This past weekend I stayed somewhere else in the Dallas area which ended up being a horrible stay but reminded me to write one about this place. This place was decent. The rooms were spacious and clean although a bit outdated like some mentioned and from what the staff told me when I was there, they are completely renovated after hurricane Harvey. My family, which consist of me my spouse and 3 children met a friend and her family there. My friend had been there for 2 nights already before we got there. I'm not sure if it was because I told the lady we had 5 in our party but she gave us these wristbands for the pool so they could identify us as guests. So I guess if we wanted to invite a guest over we could not? I told my friend this and she said no one at all mentioned or gave them any wristbands so I just thought that weird. My major complaint is on Sunday morning we went down around 9am so we thought to grab some bread, butter, jelly etc for breakfast. We had eggs and bacon in our room that we were going to cook in the single portable burner they give you in the rooms with a kitchenette. The breakfast they provide is very simple and nothing warm except when you toast bread or bagels. As it turned out it was daylight savings weekend so what we thought was 9am ended up being 10 at and they had already put stuff up. We have 3 kids they were "nice" by giving us a few slices of bread (like 3). I get being a stickler to some things but with it being daylight savings and all I feel like some leniency in this situation would have been good customer service. Other than these things was an ok stay, definitely better than the stay I had in dallas this past weekend. read more

We stayed at this motel over spring break. We also stayed there last year. I am happy to report that both times we have stayed have been a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and spacious. The room we had faced the harbor and it was very quiet and relaxing to look out at the well kept, scenic courtyard. There are nearby restaurants and the park. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is good and well stocked. The dining area faces the harbor and we enjoyed eating and drinking coffee while watching the boats, birds, and water. The beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed our stays at this motel. read more
