We try to get a room off the rear to enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside. The rooms are always very clean and the staff warm and friendly. In the evenings there are snacks of cookies and popcorn. The continental breakfast is also satisfying often including scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, a breakfast meat, cereal, fresh fruit, and more! It is also centrally located to most things we want to do from shopping for furniture to stocking up on cheeses and spices to candles and leather goods. Also, the Saturday evening snack was very nice (and the cookies were delicious). The room was comfortable, and the view overlooking the llama pastures was very nice (we enjoyed checking out the llamas also, they were fun to watch). We also enjoyed the various swings around the property and there was a little trail that ran through the woods that we walked, and the woods were covered in large white Trilliums along the path. Overall, a very nice experience.

Our room was clean and the view from our balcony was incredible. Very picturesque and serene. After having some cocktails in our room, we decided to explore the grounds. The trail behind the building lead us first to the koi pond. It was stocked with beautiful fish and food for them was available to purchase. There was a little waterfall and then we came upon a childrens village that was absolutely adorable. Having just rained, there were no children playing in the village so being two adults with questionable maturity, we had the most fun exploring the miniature buildings. After exploring the outside, we did indeed go swimming. The pool area was saturated with the smell of chlorine and the jacuzzi was extra hot and crowded but we had a nice time relaxing and making new friends. It was a good one night experience.
