I was obviously frustrated and upset, but that's on United Healthcare, not the people at SimonMed. In fact, the women at the front desk (Katherine and Adriana... I believe those were their names) were incredibly kind, going above and beyond to try and help me out. They called my insurance, they called my doctor, they walked me through what I needed to do to ensure I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket. They made sure I was able to be seen the next day, and they did all of this with compassion, empathy, and smiles on their faces. Listen, healthcare in this country is a joke and MRIs are no fun, but let's not blame the people who are trying to help. If anything, the staff at the SR SimonMed made the situation as pleasant as possible. When I went back for my MRI, they checked in on me and even got me in and out early.
