This place is amazing! 1 block from the main drag of tourist attractions/traps. Wonderfully decorated and comfortable with all the history you're looking for. Friendly and helpful staff for anything you need. Laundry room and ice machine if you're road tripping that's a nice option. Some rooms have a mini drink fridge if you need one make sure to book a room with one. The owner Jeff did a great job restoring this property! Come and check them out if you are planning on staying in town.

Nice hotel on Fremont, mere steps from Allen St. and everything Tombstone. Real convenient. It was really hot when we were there, so it was nice to escape the heat easily in our hotel room for a break every once in awhile. Very clean and nice hotel.

This is a tasteful, trendy roadside motel at the edge of historic Tombstone. If you want a nice view out the tiny window, ask for a 2nd-floor room facing north into the prairie with mountains on the horizon. Otherwise, you'll be tucked under a walkway. The room was well insulated for sound, which was great because our neighbors were there to party. The bed was WAY too soft, old, and saggy with some old stains on the comforter. However, the linens looked and smelled fresh. The room is tiny. Everything is practical. However, the theme of the hotel is local history, so they decorate with exhibits of Tombstome history with QR codes linked to web pages that explain key elements of the town's history. Except for the upside-down poker table, the room is tastefully decorated. There are no bells or whistles to discuss, but it is a great, cheap place to crash during a tour here.

Well kept and nice and clean. The staff were friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend staying here. Short walk to the main Street. Interesting history around the room.

Outstanding location, clean, nice & comfortable and awesome staff here. You're a block away from the action and it's super quiet.

Very little parking. No handicap parking I could see. Finding office was confusing 2 signs said off that way toward the back we parked and were looking for it and was told it was actually now in the front. Did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling at the front desk. We're not give a receipt for the $134.00 I paid in cash. I made the reservation over the phone they did not get a email so no text or email conformation. They don't have key cards but don't explain any of that at check-in. There is a keypad door lock instead. We got to the room very nice remodeled room. Took the decorative pillows and fake fur off the bed. I don't care for things on KY bed that are not washed every stay. No room phone to office. No ice buckets or wash cloths. Beds were comfortable. The shampoo and shower gel did not lather. The rooms had a microwave and mini frig. Would stay again. I found all of Tombstone that the business are not over friendly. Air conditioner filters need to be cleaned. I wish I would have checked at beginning instead of end.

Its location is superb, within walking distance of good restaurants and major tourist attractions. The bed was extremely comfortable, better than at a high-priced hotel we visited later in our trip. I liked our room's high ceilings. The motel's decor is very 1980's but very clean and comfortable. Our room had a refrigerator and a microwave; my sister-in-law had a fridge but no microwave. We had a wall-mounted clothes rack, my sister-in-law may have had a closet. Our room was farther from the road and very quiet; my sister-in-law was closer to the road and had some noise. Each room has two wood rocking chairs outside the door, under a large overhang offering sun and rain protection. The people sitting outside are friendly. Our room had a comfortable sofa with a movable floor lamp. We had a nightstand with a good reading light on one side of the bed. I don't know whether we could have moved the floor lamp over to the other side of the bed. The motel is close to downtown Tombstone and these major attractions to which we walked: the Courthouse Museum, the Bird Cage Theatre (museum), the Rose Tree Museum, the Crystal Palace bar, Big Nose Kate's Saloon, the Longhorn restaurant, Undertaker's Coffee, Cowboy Coffee Bar, gunfights on Allen St, carriage rides on Allen St., various shops, etc. Here are some places farther away that we would probably have needed to drive to. Boothill Cemetery is one of them.

Asked to confirm we were in the Earp room. I specifically booked this place for that room and was not willing to pay what they charged otherwise. She first said Room 2. I replied is that the Earp room. I then saw on their Facebook page the room I wanted was called Room 1. I asked again to confirm we had the room I actually booked, so I could cancel if not. I was assured we were in the Earp room. They straight lied! Note that they ONLY show photos from the Earp room on the booking pages. They even include verbiage that talks about this being the Earp room with those decorations we wanted. But, they actually have 3 rooms and only one is decorated that way. The one they actually put us in was a boring "Settlers" room with cactus pictures, reminiscent of any cheap Phoenix motel. I'm from AZ, so not impressed by cacti. No one was there at checkout to discuss this with. The office is always empty. As for the room, it was okay, just not worth what I was charged. If they had admitted they didn't put us in the room I actually booked, I would have cancelled and moved to the place up the hill for $45 less plus free breakfast included. Don't appreciate being lied to!

There were a few things that I think would improve the hotel...I wish there a small table in the room. I wish there was a hook to hang up a bath towel especially since we don't get fresh towels every night we stay. Lastly, I wish the water pressure was a bit stronger. All in this room was fantastic and met our every need. I would stay again! Book at the sage brush website since that gives you the best rate and so the hotel doesn't have to pay 3rd party booking vendors!
