Parked in front about to leave and a stagecoach drove by

Super easy check in and out. I actually didn't see the proprietor at all, but I was in communication with her throughout via phone and text. The location can't be beat - you can see the OK Corral and main historic Tombstone walking area from there. I think the stagecoach driver said that the area where it is located was called Hop Town, or the Chinese part of town which had opium dens and such. It's right there on historic Allen St. The room was really nice in my opinion. Not fancy, but it is a no frills lodging. You get a large comfy bed, a fridge with freezer area, lots of towels and a large bathroom, a sitting table, and a coffee table/desk with coffee and tea options. The courtyard has tables with large umbrellas and you can watch the stagecoaches go by. I really enjoyed my stay. No stress and easy. Perfect location as it was close to everything. Has AC and heating.

Allen Street Inn is located about 2 blocks away from the popular Allen Street. There's only 3 rooms because it's the size of a single family home. The Old West look is the appropriate theme for the room. The hardwood floor is great for the summer heat. The staff was very helpful and courteous as she allowed us to check in one hour early. My only gripe is that I wish they have continental breakfast.

Clean and affordable. Two-minute walk to Tombstone main attractions. Not fancy, but clean, convenient, functional and and a great value.

Its location is superb, within walking distance of good restaurants and major tourist attractions. The bed was extremely comfortable, better than at a high-priced hotel we visited later in our trip. I liked our room's high ceilings. The motel's decor is very 1980's but very clean and comfortable. Our room had a refrigerator and a microwave; my sister-in-law had a fridge but no microwave. We had a wall-mounted clothes rack, my sister-in-law may have had a closet. Our room was farther from the road and very quiet; my sister-in-law was closer to the road and had some noise. Each room has two wood rocking chairs outside the door, under a large overhang offering sun and rain protection. The people sitting outside are friendly. Our room had a comfortable sofa with a movable floor lamp. We had a nightstand with a good reading light on one side of the bed. I don't know whether we could have moved the floor lamp over to the other side of the bed. The motel is close to downtown Tombstone and these major attractions to which we walked: the Courthouse Museum, the Bird Cage Theatre (museum), the Rose Tree Museum, the Crystal Palace bar, Big Nose Kate's Saloon, the Longhorn restaurant, Undertaker's Coffee, Cowboy Coffee Bar, gunfights on Allen St, carriage rides on Allen St., various shops, etc. Here are some places farther away that we would probably have needed to drive to. Boothill Cemetery is one of them.

Asked to confirm we were in the Earp room. I specifically booked this place for that room and was not willing to pay what they charged otherwise. She first said Room 2. I replied is that the Earp room. I then saw on their Facebook page the room I wanted was called Room 1. I asked again to confirm we had the room I actually booked, so I could cancel if not. I was assured we were in the Earp room. They straight lied! Note that they ONLY show photos from the Earp room on the booking pages. They even include verbiage that talks about this being the Earp room with those decorations we wanted. But, they actually have 3 rooms and only one is decorated that way. The one they actually put us in was a boring "Settlers" room with cactus pictures, reminiscent of any cheap Phoenix motel. I'm from AZ, so not impressed by cacti. No one was there at checkout to discuss this with. The office is always empty. As for the room, it was okay, just not worth what I was charged. If they had admitted they didn't put us in the room I actually booked, I would have cancelled and moved to the place up the hill for $45 less plus free breakfast included. Don't appreciate being lied to!

There were a few things that I think would improve the hotel...I wish there a small table in the room. I wish there was a hook to hang up a bath towel especially since we don't get fresh towels every night we stay. Lastly, I wish the water pressure was a bit stronger. All in this room was fantastic and met our every need. I would stay again! Book at the sage brush website since that gives you the best rate and so the hotel doesn't have to pay 3rd party booking vendors!
