What an amazing spot to stay in Tombstone! So warm and welcoming! Cutest cabin, plenty of space and they really thought of everything! I am obsessed with the comforters on the beds! We had a blast and so did our pups! So close to the main fun of Tombstone we walked everywhere! Cannot wait to go back! Cozy is a great description. Nice accommodations and atmosphere. No contact entry and exit. Within walking distance of the main attractions on Allen Street. Full kitchen stocked with cups, plates, silverware, pots and pans, stove and mucrowave. Lovely picnic area. At least 15 or more deer came in the evening while we were sitting on a picnic bench. This stay was out of the blue, we were passing by and called to for availability. Regina was very helpful and pleasant. There is a minimum of 2 nights and it's well worth it. We were glad we had 2 days to explore the town of Tombstone. These cottages are an easy walk to the town. We walked to town. Love the kitchen, I like to cook when traveling. Super clean and amazing customer service. There is something to be said about small town hospitality, they exceed any 5 star hotel I've ever stayed at! Regina was who booked our room and made sure we were happy and settled. The small individual cabins are epic! They come with kitchenettes and sleep at least 6 people. Very convenient for families and people with pets. Oh, I forgot to add they are sooooooo DOG FRIENDLY Pretty sure they put a dog cover on the couch so Umi could sleep there. Our stay in Tombstone at Katie's cozy cabin was awesome. Our cabin was clean and very comfortable. The heater worked perfectly keeping our cabin toasty and warm as the temps dipped into the 20,s and low 30's... a few days after Christmas. We woke up to falling snow . Having read and viewed films about the old west and the OK corral, I decided to get out of the city and head out to Tombstone, AZ. I happened to see the listing for Katie's Cozy Cabins when I was planning my trip. I did not want to be in a multi-unit hotel, and this was perfect for my getaway. It is rustic, clean, and, as the name implies, cozy. It has a really nice kitchen, fridge, and is great for a family. However, being that it was just me, it was perfect. There is a small recreational area, with benches, seats, and a BBQ pit on the property. At night you can see the stars on a clear night. It was the most relaxing stay in town. It is about two blocks walking distance from the main street. Everyone in town is friendly, and I had a great time strolling through the historical town. I highly recommend this Inn on your visit to Tombstone. read more

Clean, cozy, well stocked, snug and very nice. Walking distance from the Historic part of Allen street, and if you head the opposite direction, you'll find the real Tombstone cemetery (Not Boothill.) If we visit again, definitely gonna stay here. The visit by friendly mule deer was a plus. One suggestion: they offer free wifi, but no cable or satellite TV. Bring DVDs or maybe a Roku to stream some entertainment. Not sure if TV has an HDMI slot. read more

Room was everything we could have hoped for. Big bed, comfy couches, giant shower and most importantly a working quiet air conditioner. Simply amazing place to stay!! So "cozy" and perfect for our family of 6, kids absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave! Porch swing was so relaxing! They provided three different movies to watch. The kitchen had everything we could think of even down to coffee, cream, and sugar. We had such a great stay at Katie's Cabins and can not wait to come back! We're already planing our future returns to make sure we have a spot! The Cabins are clean, come stocked with pots, pans, linens and much more! It's literally a little home away from home, perfect for the 4 of us! We don't drink coffee much but they stock more then enough to cover you for a few days of both regular and decaf! The kids loved playing in their "own room" and being able to settle down watching a movie on the couch after dinner. Waking up we had 4 deer outside the cabin which was so fun to sit and watch the baby prance threw the grass! The owner Regina(if I remember her name correctly) was very nice, informative and was quick with contact Incase of any issues. Upon pulling into the parking lot of Katie's Cozy Cabins, I couldn't help but to think, "WOW! these cabins are so cute!" My favorite thing has got to be all the wildlife that surrounds you, though. So many deer and birds! Some wild mule deer actually approached my sons and husband and licked their hands! My boys were literally hand-feeding them. My favorite thing to do here, was to take my coffee out to the picnic benches in the morning - and listen to all the different birds chirp and fly around. It was seriously magical. The main streets of Tombstone are walking distance. There's a breakfast café and general store also within walking distance. Katie's Cozy Cabins are true to their name - they really are cozy! We traveled with our family of four as well as our large German Shepherd and there was plenty of room in these cabins for us all. the kitchens are well-equipped with everything we needed in order to cook and function - and there's COFFEE AND CREAMER!!! I appreciated that! The décor throughout the cabin was so cute - and I really love that everything was wooden. On top of all this - Regina the manager was a great communicator and very easy to get a hold of. We locked ourselves out of the cabin once, and she came right to our rescue! THANK YOU REGINA! Everything was neat and clean and we really had a glorious stay. It's one of the only places in Tombstone that allows pets, and we'd for sure stay here again! read more

Just off Allen street so it's nice and quiet but close enough to walk a couple blocks to the historic area. The cabin are adorable, clean, and well outfitted with basic amenities you might need during your stay (plates, silverware, microwave, etc). If you're not sure-footed I would not recommend sleeping up in the loft area. The ladder getting up there could be intimidating but otherwise totally safe if you are cautious. A nice little surprise, a family of deer or something like that wanders through the yard. They're so cute. read more

Wow, I can't believe I haven't Yelped Katie's Cozy Cabins! I have stayed here 2 times out of the 3 I've been to Tombstone. There are 4 cabins next to each other, walking distance to Tombstone which is just awesome. Each cabin has queen bed (I believe its a queen), a futon, and a bunk bed which I have slept on top each time (Yes I'm 36 years old and love a fun bunk bed). There is also a smart TV with free Wi-Fi which was something new from the last time I visited Katie's. I also have brought twice food to make at the cabin which usually includes breakfast one day and dinner in one day. There is a stove and some pans for you to use, all you have to do is bring the food to make. There is also a BBQ outside which isn't the nicest in the west, but it cooked up our burgers and hot dogs just fine. Outside of the cabin on the porch is a awesome swing. I love to sit outside of the cabin during the morning and evening hours to soak up the Arizona desert and all that Tombstone has to offer. Right in front of the cabins there prepared a nice area with picnic tables that you can use to enjoy a nice meal. There are also lights that are hung on the trees just outside which makes a very nice atmosphere. I think there are new owners, but they were very nice and accommodating. I love Tombstone for the history and of course the movie always gets me pumped up to go visit. It is nice to have a spot like Katie's since I know I will always have a great time there. Cabin #4 is the best and I have since claimed it as my 2nd home. LOL. P.S. Last time I visited (Which was two weeks ago) I saw 2-3 deer every day outside of our cabin which was really cool. After searching for a place to stay, I changed my plans just to stay here after reading the reviews. It turned out even better than expected. My 7yr. old nephew loved the cabin! Just an awesome experience from the day we got there. The cabin was ready , clean and just the coolest thing I have ever stayed in. The A/c and heater both work great, the kitchen has everything you need except the food. It comes with Netflix, Hulu and others. We saw 8 deer walk right through the property the first night we were there, numerous rabbits and other critters, song birds in the trees around the property, a nice spring breeze on the porch swing at night was what this City Slicker needed to relax in peace. Very comfortable loft bed and couch, totally pet friendly. At night time the property is lit up in a very relaxing fashion as you hear the wind blow through the trees. Very short walking distance from the main tourist spots. Made reservations well in advance directly through them, I highly recommend this place. read more

I stayed here a couple of years ago with my kids and a girlfriend and her kids (we each rented a cabin, side by side) and we had a wonderful visit! Both of our cabins were spotless, affordable, well equipped, convenient and cozy. Each cabin came with a small kitchen so we were able to easily prepare meals for our kids without always needing to seek out a restaurant, and each cabin had a double futon and bunk beds downstairs, and a double bed in the loft (accessed by a ladder.) They were within walking distance of downtown Tombstone which made them very convenient for sightseeing. I will not hesitate to stay here again on my next stay in Tombstone! My family of three stayed here one night this month and loved it so much, I had to write a review. These cabins are awesome. They all look brand new, clean and rustic but with modern conveniences. Ours had heating and air conditioning, a mini-stove, a microwave, a fridge and sink and of course a bathroom with shower. The kitchen had dishes and silverware and cleaning supplies. The master bedroom was on the second floor, accessible by a fixed wooden ladder. There is also a bunk room with a door downstairs. The living area had a futton and a small dining table. We appreciated the television with DVD player. The owner added some neat touches, like soaps and shampoos, area info and some DVDs including the 1993 movie Tombstone. We watched Tombstone on Allen street IN Tombstone. Awesome! We enjoyed the front porch swing, too. The location is perfect. It's two blocks down from all the action. You can walk out onto Allen street and see the main area of town. No need to drive down there, as it's a short walk. It rained the night we were there and the metal roof was a little loud but it rarely rains in AZ so most won't get to experience that. Parking was ample. Rates were reasonable (see website). You'll need to call before arriving in town so the owner can arrange to get you the key. I understand the cabins are for sale as a business. I bet these are always packed in the peak season. Katie's Cozy Cabins are 4 little rustic cabins next to the woods and within walking distance to all the attractions on Allen Street. The location is great, and each cabin sleeps 4-6 (queen bed on the loft, bunk beds in downstairs bedroom, and a futon couch). Reservations are completed over the phone with the owner Regina (who is very friendly) and she leaves the key in a special hiding place for check-in ;) Our cabin was cozy, charming, extremely CLEAN, well-maintained, and stocked with everything you would need--a toaster, coffee maker (coffee and filters provided; bring your own creamer), pots/pans, dishes, silverware, toiletries and plenty of towels. All you need to do is bring your own food! A big plus is they are pet-friendly. We were able to bring our small dog for an additional $10 charge per night, and found it to be very affordable; about the same as a hotel room in town...except you get SO much more! The beds are not Sleep Number...but SO WHAT! Do yourself a favor and stay here next time you're in Tombstone. read more

My husband and I are traveling to South Carolina with our 2 month old due to our new orders he received for the military. We were looking for a safe, quiet and romantic place to stay. This place was perfect. Super easy to check in! I loved that the owner was in constant contact with us to make sure that we were good! Thanks Regina! Not only did she make everything smooth but she went above and beyond! We arrived at midnight and couldn't figure out how to turn the heater on. Had booked a night here, but did not stay even 15 min. My wife and I are both scared of heights, and found the ladder to the loft much too high and steep. We knew about the loft when we booked, but we assumed at least ONE of the other beds would suffice, but no. The futon mattress was old and non supportive enough to sit on comfortably, much less sleep on. The other beds were kids beds so the mattress in those were poor quality, I guess cause they are geared for kids. The cabin looked great and the AC was left on for us (we would have appreciated this after walking around the town), but I don't know how older guests or those who don't climb ladders can possibly be comfortable there. Looks like a wonderful place to stay if you can climb a ladder to the loft! read more

Horrible, unprofessional customer service! Hope you never have to talk to anyone! I booked in May for July and where driving 12 hours with 2 kids under 5. When our card was never charged I started calling a month before our trip trying to get ahold of someone to make sure all was ok and left messages that was never returned and other # was disconnected then the main # started saying mailbox full but I kept trying. A week out I decided to email them and Facebook message them after doing that I received a text message with my confirmation info but nothing answering our ?s on card and parking I kept asking about the card she kept texting back saying will charge in beginning of month I kept saying never been charged then I get a email saying they canceled us free of charge!! Canceled us for asking questions a week out of our visit!!! So I got us another cute cabin at Tombstone RV & campground for half the price and wonderful customer service! Then the day we are driving in Katie's charged us!!! Again I had to email and Facebook them and over Facebook she told me she couldn't refund us!! But I sent her a pic of her email canceled us free of charge and told her I would be coming in and she refunded us! That's the short version! Horrible unprofessional customer service! Never have a ever been unable to get ahold of someone on the phone and had to respond threw text and Facebook then as I'm trying to figure out why are card had not been charged and how parking is "my dad was meeting us there from a fishing trip and was going to have his boat with him" they canceled us!!!! We loved it!! The cabins were super cute, thoughtfully furnished, and super clean! The cabins are within a quiet neighborhood, but within walking distance to the downtown area, a major plus. Loved walking my dog every morning to the historical cemetary just up the road. All around great place to stay - clean, quaint, and very affordable.
