I love this place, for what it is. Not for everyone admittedly but it has a charm. Had some wonderful times here.

Went there on a day pass. Used an outside urinal that had no water to flush. Then noticed I was standing in my own piss. Code violation plumbing was incredibly faulty and dangerous. If you already have a STD, expect to get another; Hepatitis included free, no extra charge. Manager has the charm and the looks of a dying rat. Entire property is disgusting so expect it to soon vanish; real estate worth lots. Good riddance to bad rubbish! read more

Doug at the front is awesome. He really tries to ensure all your needs are met. This isn't the Hilton nor does it pretend to be. It's a small average place, there definitely can be upgrades but the rooms are what you need to sleep, the outdoor area is clean and up kept. Dated yes but for the price it cannot be beat. read more

Terrible! This place is a dump. It's sad, small and is poorly maintained. My room was unsafe due to unsecured fencing, poor lighting, loud noises, an uncomfortable bed, dirty bedlinens and towels, bad water pressure and a lot of wildlife. During my stay I had several flee bites, mosquito bites and bedbug bites and I also developed an eye infection possibly due to the dirty towels. I needed to checkout two days early on. A five night stay. My room also had several safety and building code violations, including unlicensed construction, plumbing and electrical; unfinished tile work in the bathroom has. Whole in the tile and also a lack of safety bars to prevent slip and falls. A big sling in the middle of the room, makes a small room harder to use-it is hard to avoid always bumping into it, creating a fire hazard. In addition - it is poorly attached and may not have the ability to safely support a man with an average weight. Room is in terrible condition- with two lightbulbs missing and a tv that did not work. The remaining light bulbs in the room were fluorescent bulbs, which hurt the eyes. The air conditioner runs cold 24/7, and is installed using electrical tape to keep it in place. The location of the Inn Leather is isolated - and the only food options are unhealthy fast food outlets - within walking distance. Had to wait until evening for my room to be ready- while other rooms sat vacant. Because of the bug bites all over my body - I had to check out early- only staying three of a planned six night stay. Upon checkout, Doug the manager emailed me a fake receipt that does not match the receipt confirmation I had received from Expedia and does not match my credit card statement. There are much better guest houses in the Fort Lauderdale area that are cleaner and in better condition. read more

Was there last night 1-24-2021.. Well it was interesting a lot of meth users... Had my car parked behind a Ford blue older pick up truck. Ford F-150 ... The spot was designated to the guest I was visiting. Well he hit my car .. He took out the Parking bumper.. He Never left a note (shocker) and he threw plastic cones onto my car .. The place Has No Parking for geust .The area it's located in is not so nice ! No employee on hand at night for issues that might occur.. (especially if the gust are high and is using drugs) I am sure the man that hit my car was high on meth and was not in the right state of mind to be driving .. This place seems to be a place for that .. All I can say is if you like shady places this is ONE . If you go take a Uber ... Disappointed would definitely NOT GO BACK ! read more

This is a gay, all gay, leather motel/resort and probably the best all gay leather motel to be found in the country, bar none. The hospitality is good; it has a nice pool area, and serves a continental breakfast. Most of the rooms come with a small kitchen and refrigerator which is great for those all night "parties." The rooms are clean, generally neat and each room comes equipped with a sling......yes, a top quality leather sling. Now if you are asking why or what for is a leather sling, you're headed in the wrong direction, going to the wrong place and probably more into baking biskets with your Crisco. For what it is and what it is suppose to be, it's about as good as it gets, but this place isn't for everybody and certainly not for every gay male. It is designed and specifically meant for that niche gay male leather community. There are a lot of other features to the place, but since this is the internet, I would rather not make mention of them. I also won't post any pictures and would encourage future reviewers to do likewise. Suffice it to say that it is a favorite with members of various leather/play organizations, and with good reason. Again, this is not a place for everyone. I would suggest that anyone who isn't into the gay leather type of life might be better off elsewhere, but if you are into that, it is difficult to beat. Above all, I wouldn't let your mother know that you stayed here and if you do stay here without your other half or lover, you best not let him know about it either. read more

I've been a regular guest at Inn Leather for several years now..each time I go there, the experience gets better & better. This is due in NO SMALL PART to the owner/manager/chief cook & bottle washer Doug, who (along with his VERY capable/accommodating staff), go out of their way to make sure all your needs are met for a pleasant stay. The "eye candy" & overall vibe is well worth the cost of a room (especially on a party weekend). My most recent stay was to "bookend" a cruise, one day before & after. After disembarking the ship & arriving at Inn Leather WAY before check in, Doug & staff welcomed us to breakfast, holding the bags, & use of the resort until our rooms were ready. I stayed at Inn Leather Mother's Day weekend 2023. My first time at a clothing optional resort. I had no idea what to expect. Overall I liked it and I will return. I felt a kindred spirit with the place right away. I loved being able to walk, swim, eat and play naked under the sun. Being the holiday, it wasn't very busy. I was in room 7 and loved having a kitchen and a swing, 2 things most hotels I stay in don't have. The bed was a bit aged. It had a hilariously loud scream from the springs that accompanied any real movements. It added to the charm for me. Large flat screen tv with all the standard streaming options plus a fully loaded dvd player with lots of classic porn. Large windows with privacy curtains but also easy to show off if that's your thing. All of the staff were excellent. I got the sense of a family vibe from them. The facility isn't very big but I encourage you to explore it. I didn't find the gym until the last day. They also give a big discount to military and law enforcement. It's not the best area immediately outside the gate. Lock your car. You do get a private parking spot. Basically if you want the Ritz, stay there. If you want some non-judgmental fun in the sun, this is the place. Play safe. :) read more

I visited Inn Leather one afternoon with a day pass. I cannot comment on the rooms, but I had a good time exploring the resort. While it is a bit run down, I found the facility to be well maintained and clean. It is a bit small, and for the day pass visitor, there are not too many places to play -- a small room with a sling, and a couple of glory holes. But the facility was fairly relaxed, and there seemed to be action possible in all the random corners of the property. The only bathroom available for the day pass visitor is an outdoor toilet with no door -- a bit strange I thought. The folks who work there were friendly and helpful, and clearly working to maintain the property. It' only $10 for a day pass -- certainly worth a visit. read more

I was the victim of what I took to be a serious sexual assault here from another guest. I had to fight him off. The office closes at 6 PM, all the day people are gone, everyone remaining in their rooms. So there was no one to help or report this to. I came here first on a day pass. The pool is very small and in bright sun. There is an area shaded by a tarp, with a fan, but it was still so hot (90°) that it was quite uncomfortable. There is a an unairconditioned play room for the day passers, but not for me in that heat. The second time I took a room and pretty much stayed there. If you are hospitable people will take advantage of you - one guy took three showers in my shower. Plus some will want to do drugs in your room. I was offered meth within 10 min. of arrival (don't use it). It is true all rooms had a sling. If you don't know what that is, and what fisting is, this is not the place for you. Some rooms had DVD players, others VCRs. I don't plan to return. read more

Inn Leather is a cozy little guest house that would be a nice place to stay away from the glitz of Fort Lauderdale, what makes it special is the theme. Every room is different, but all have decor that makes it clear this is a place for Leathermen. Very nice leather slings in every room, an outdoor "play" area differentiate this place and the Tom of Finland artwork in every room leave no doubt what the orientation is here. Nice heated pool and a colorful garden make it a repeat on my list. read more

Very well kept up. Manager is a great guy and kept asking how everything was. The pool is right there, a lot of really nice guys. The room was comfortable, every room has a sling. It's a little off the beaten path of Wilton Manors but not all that far. There are people that come on on a day pass, so it gets busy during the day. No restaurant or bar on site so it's BYOB, but there are refrigerators in the rooms. There is a Taco Bell next door and a couple nice restaurants across the street. Since I already wrote one, and I dont see it on this site, I am going to write it again. Inn Leather is a great place to be if you are Fort Lauderdale, Florida and you are looking for a guest house to stay at. The great customer service that they give is excellent. Douglas at the front desk takes care of all of your needs. The pool is always great year round, and the people are very nice too. Do not remember Inn Leather 3 to 5 years ago, think of it now with all the new great reviews that it is getting and the upgrades that they have made to the whole place. It is worth taking a second look at what you will see different than the first. I will be there on June 24, 2017 and I hope you will join me in a fun of daytime get together. Day passes are only $10. and if you buy a bundle of 10 they are even cheaper. Hopefully see you there. Ask for Dean. read more

A friend of mine stayed at this place and I was quite excited to try it when my husband and I needed a place to stay before our cruise. We arrived early due to taking a red eye, and they left us keys to get into our room. When I went to the office in the morning to check in I was quite surprised they took a copy of my credit card and license. When I told them I was uncomfortable with this, the (less than helpful clerk) said this was the rule I would have to speak to Milan. When MIlan finally came out he advised me that he needed to do this to prove to the credit card company that I was actually there. He claimed he did this for the resorts protection just in case we trashed the room (which he indicated happens often). Guess they don't trust their guest. They take day passes which really creates a playful atmosphere, but apparently causes them problems. The jacuzzi was broken, the outdoor sling had been stolen. They even had a picture of thief's in the resort stealing things with a sign that said "watch your wallet boys" Next when I went to go get a dvd, the clerk gave me a rack of about 6 dvd's. When I said is that all, he said they have trouble with people returning them.....and then proceeded to go on a rant about how they day passes brought in the riff raff and drug oriented clientele. I took two dvd's and went to my room. I tried to play one and it would not work. I went back to the office and asked if they could show me how to operate the dvd palyer.....the clerk gave me the deer in the headlight look like don't bother me. Then he said, oh your in room 3, that player is broken.Then later in the afternoon, he yelled at my husband for sitting in a lounge chair that someone else had moved. As to the room it was just ok. The sling was right in front of the bathroom, so you had to walk around it/under it just to get in there. When we checked out on Sunday, the (much nicer clerk they had that day) told me he would need to inspect the room before we checked out.....REALLY. Bottom line, stay at one of the other gay resorts and come to this place on a day pass as there was NO action at night. read more

I had the fun experience of staying here in February when traveling from cold Massachusetts! If you are a leatherman as I am, this is the place to stay! I had a great room with a kitchenette. The staff was very accommodating and the grounds were clean. The kitchen could have been cleaner, especially the top of the refrigerator which also had a messy leak inside. The sling though was great and the pool was nice. I would definitely stay again as there really is no place like it ! read more

I agree with most other reviews here, but downgrading because the place seems to have been left without maintenance for a few years. Loads of things that need fixing here (in ant out of the rooms). Obviously owners are "running it into the ground", or the upkeep would be better. That being said, I think it's great that Fort Lauderdale has a place like this. I'm just sorry to think that it will all come crashing down and close at some point in the future. For day users (or for special events), there is no real public bathroom, just an open toilet and 2 urinals behind the hot tub. Not even a sink, no place to wash your hands (in less you have a room). Pool is frequently ill kept and often dirty during special event afternoons. I have stayed here several times before and likely will do so again. read more

Inn Leather is a wonderful place to stay, year round. The grounds are well manicured, with lush vegetation, and beautiful flowers. It has a clean spa and clear pool, with an outside urinal and toilet. We like to sunbath naked, and socialize with the other naked guests. This place is a secluded, yet outdoor playground, with lots of space for public or private activity. The resort is conveniently located near the Airport, and many shopping and eating opportunities. Only minutes drive from the beach. The rooms are nice, clean, with classic decor. The guys who run the place take pride in their work, and are friendly and helpful. This is a place for friendly, frisky gay guys to socialize, play, and spend the night in quiet comfort. There are day passes and day parties, as well as many different and unusual rooms for overnight stay. Check this resort out, and you will be glad you did. I was there on two occasions and I had a great time. the most recent one for 4th of July week. The rooms are equipped with a sling, so needless to say that was a plus! the guys that go there for the day pass are cool, open minded and 70 % hot. The staff is very friendly and courteous, specially that porn star they have there, cute as a button. the staff is very service oriented and very helpful. The rooms were spotless, the action was HOT and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly, courteous and willing to do anything to make my visit more satisfying. Never in my life have I felt so free! The resort is an older one but the rooms are nicely appointed and well maintained!! Inn Leather is under new management and I must say that after staying there in June that we were really surprised at the great renovation that has been done. In the past 10 years I (We) have stayed there numerous times. Room (#1) was neat and clean and the new bathroom is amazing. The place looks fantastic especially around the pool and patio areas. Most of all the staff is great. They made sure everything that we needed was provided and made sure we were happy with our stay. As a leather themed resort I cannot imagine any place else living up to these standards. We will be back over and over again I'm sure. If you haven't stayed there I would highly recommend this resort. read more
