By far the best smoke shop in Orange County, the customer service, the glass, and the nifty utensils for various other means of smoking tobacco they have are unique and outstanding. Been coming to this shop forever and always spend at least a good 30mins talking it up with the workers about various glass and music they play. They range from cheap glass to very expensive art pieces ( two $5000+ pieces) and they are beautiful. Oh and if your looking for your oil neccesities come check out there selection you'll !@#$ your pants! OH AND ONE MORE THING there vaporizer section is the biggest one I've seen at any smoke shop, PLEASE if you've never been here its definitely a place to check out, and even if you don't smoke the art they have is CRAZY! Broke my limited edition rig that was gifted to me and wanted to cry. Visited this place since it is close by and couldn't have had better service. The guy who helped me was incredibly nice and helpful. Don't remember his name unfortunately, but, he had long hair with a hat on. Super nice and helpful dude. Not sure why people on here say they don't budge on their prices. I was given my new rig with $100 off. Fast forward to today. I broke the mouthpiece on my new rig and was beyond bummed. I was hopeful I could just buy a new mouth piece and fortunately, I was in luck. Same guy helped again and was just as awesome as the first time. And, he gave me $10 off of the new mouth piece. There are many smoke shops in San Clemente, but Inner Limits is by far the only one worth going to. Their glass is dominate to all other shops! After living in Santa Ana my whole life and seeing more head shops than cars, I have to say this is the best smoke shop I have ever seen. I love this place!! I've only been here two times and the employees already know my face and are super awesome when I come in. They have about 5 separate rooms for glass and even a whole room just for incense and smell good things ^.^ I bought a downstem here a while ago and when I got home it was too big. The red headed guy behind the counter is a wealth of knowledge and SO friendly. I've been coming here for 3 years and although they are EXTREMELY overpriced, they have a good selection and usually the customer service is great...that was until Tuesday (3 days ago) when I stopped in to buy a new torch and nail. The woman that was helping me 1) didn't show me exactly what I asked for until I asked at least 3 times, instead kept showing me the most "popular" or "best selling"...none of which was what I asked for. 2) when she did finally get the 10mm nail I was asking to see she showed me only the most expensive (I'm assuming they must get commission), not the glass I was asking for. 3) when it came time to pick out my new torch, again, only showed me the $40- $50 ones, nothing within the range I was willing to spend although I repeatedly asked for something cheaper before she shows me a lighter (not a torch!) that costs $15. I give in and take her rec....BIG MISTAKE! The bucket I decided on over the nail I planned on getting worked great and am def happy with it (another customers suggestion, not the employees...she was trying to get me to spend $60 on something I neither wanted nor could afford) but the lighter is complete crap! Not only did it cost $15 so it should last longer than 3 days but the flame only stays on for about 4 secs and then shuts off. All I wanted was a cheap torch and a new nail, now I'm out $15 and I don't think I'll be back again:-( Whatever happened to the redheaded guy and the pretty, young brunette??? They always listened and had awesome recommendations that were on point...it's really sad to see businesses being taken over by pushy, greedy cashiers. This place is the best! I get all my glass and other accessories here. They're prices are fair, the quality of glass is high. They even can repair your glass for you for a small fee, depending on the size of the glass. The staff is so knowledgeable, I have the pleasure of calling them smoke shop gurus. Talk to the guy with the long red hair. He's the main guy who is always at the shop and has knowledge of every product in the store. Update: 11/30/14 I've gone back here quite a few times, I no longer buy glass water pipes here, but to just come in and get wraps and small accessories. The staff has surprisingly been much more polite and willing to assist me. They all made an effort to come up ask if I/we needed any assistance and info on something/anything. They also actually had a conversation with us/myself. Call me old fashion but I love to come in and have a small conversation, keep it light and friendly but something to not make it stale and leave me isolated and unwanted. I've been looking for a new bowl piece for awhile now, I love Rasta colors (Ohhh lawwwd) I feel like it just goes hand in hand and it fits with all my other pieces / trinkets well. If the color of the bowl isn't true to the actual Jamaican Rasta colors I won't get it. I'm a graphic artist and also a web developer so it definitely triggers my OCD when small stuff is off like that. They didn't have anything that was correct so they put me on a waiting list and would call me as soon as they received something. Still haven't received the phone call but A+ on the customer service. I also want to say I was short a buck and they floated me. I paid it back next time I went in but it was very cool truly old fashion but awesome, made me feel like a regular. These guys have picked up their customer service tenfold. I don't know if it's me getting older or whatever it is. I felt justified to upgrade my review give them a new update and let everyone know. If you're in San Clemente, even just rolling through checkout this place. It's small, but packed to the ceiling with a large selection of pieces / trinkets / water pipes / vapes, etc. You may not leave with something but the experience is worth it. read more

I've been going to this smoke shop for years. I've spent so much money on torches, incense, pipes, cbd items etc. Recently I switched to wax for pain management which steered me to purchasing expensive dab rigs and everything that comes along with them. I went in not knowing a thing about how they work and politely asked for help! The gentleman with the long hair was great. I purchased everything I needed for wax including a case to keep my rig in good shape. I spent around $200.... the first time. Somehow, the extension broke within a week. The Nail broke as well. I went back to replace it and asked how that happened so I bought new ones. They said it was the pressure.. A few days later, the filter inside the rig broke off. I never dropped it or tilted it. This time I had to take the entire rig back and buy a new one. I was told the rigs I was purchasing we're good quality so I bought the same brand and within three days the stem to the rig snapped off while I was torching it at a low temperature (To avoid what happened last time) At this point, I was very frustrated because I spent around $400 within two months on different parts Riggs and accessories. When I went in to show the awesome blonde girl that works there, Stephanie, and the guy with the long hair, they were both really sweet and understanding. He even left a note for the manager so I can get a store credit or a replacement. Here's where my friend and I had the biggest problem. The manager told us we shouldn't be buying rigs that are made in China... I had no idea that what I was purchasing was made in China nor did I think it would matter. She said there was nothing she could do because she can't "vouch for the quality of the glass" so she couldn't credit us. At this point I spent so much time, money and effort trying to get it right by asking many questions only to be told in a very condescending way that we should have bought a different rig both times and a brand made in America. She completely disrespected my friend in front of other customers and the employees. The level of customer service that was thrown by the manager was completely out of line and being from San Clemente and growing up in Dana point she lost extremely valuable customers. It's a shame because the other employees, as I said before, were very kind. I will be finding another smoke shop and I will be very loyal as I used to be with this one. read more

I drove 15 miles to just get a converter for my bubbler only for them to tell me that they don't make this Peice that I was looking for when I called yesterday saying that they have it. I don't live near this shop, stopped in on a recommendation from a local. I have never seen so many pipes in one place!! I mean really floor to ceiling. Very impressive. Had everything I needed and got some super cool gift stuff. Note to the boss... There was a tall guy with a shaved head and glasses working when I was there. 5 star employee! Great customer service. Amy, Tommy, the girl with the black hair (way cool girl!), and the guy with the red hair (way cool guy!) are all just ideal employees for too many reasons to list , but the top 2 are:1-they know their stuff, and 2- they make you comfortable enough to want to go back. How many smoke shops do you go into and they know what you want or want to look at and get it out and ready as soon as you walk through the door? They always give you an awesome selection no matter what your price range, and they are dead on when they give you any information, and they actually tell you they aren't sure if they don't know and find out for you for the next time you go in. I had never been here before and was told to come here to purchase a new bong. My friend who frequently came here had told me that the service was great and they had an awesome selection. So i decided i would check it out and i drove 40 minutes there and 60 minutes home. I must say this place has one of the the best selection of products i have ever seen. It was impressive. I arrived and was offered help from the girl behind the counter. I explained what i was looking for and had her show me to where they were. I know a bit about bongs and accessories etc... but when i go to a smoke shop i expect that those working and selling to me to know more than I and help me in my purchase. She did not seem to know anything about the different bongs and was unable to make suggestions on which type i should consider. I told her that i was for sure going to buy a bong from her today but i just wanted to look at my options. She moved one bong that i was interested in to the front counter area while i continued looking at more. She finally came back over to see if i needed help and i asked her to open up the case so i could view a couple of bongs. I found two that i liked but i wanted to compare them to the one i had originally liked which she had taken to the counter. I politely asked her if she could take the two bongs i liked up to the counter so i could look at them all together and decide which one to purchase. She told me that she did not want to take the 2 bongs up to the counter. I was very confused by this and told her that i was going to buy one but she still did not take them up there. After a awkward moment i say okay could you bring the other one here and she proceeded to make me look at the bongs while squatted on the ground with a bong in each hand and one rested on my knee between my arm. This made it very difficult to look at the bongs and was also pretty risky for me to be holding around $1300 in glass like this. I decided on the bong i wanted and i went up to pay. I asked if it was better to do cash or card. Obviously she said cash which i expected. Then i saw an apple pay logo on the register and asked do you accept apple pay? She had no clue and when i asked additional apple pay questions she said she doesn't know. I understand apple pay is new but if you're advertising it on your registers then i feel the employees should know how to use it and how it works. Going forward i paid on credit card and all was good. I will add that i paid over $350.00 which by no means is a lot for a bong but that is a fairly expensive bong. She asked if i would like the bong wrapped up and i said yes. She handed me the bong and a free $4.95 bong cleaner and sent me on my way. I arrive home 60 minutes later after driving in traffic. I open the bubble wrap and to my surprise the bowl piece that came with the bong was not there. I called the smoke shop and she answered the phone. As soon as i started talking about what had happened she said "I know i tried running out after you but couldn't find you" which i appreciate but once i pay that much money i expect things to be right. Mistakes happen i get it. She then has me talk to her coworker and they say that i can come back and get it. I drove 40 minutes to shop there spent $350+ dollars at their store and then they forget to give me my piece and you want me to drive back there. My girlfriend ended up going back the next day to pick it up for me. She drove 50minutes to get there and 90minutes to get home. They threw in a free grunge off.... seriously? All in all, the customer service was severely lacking. She was unknowledgeable about the product she was selling, she was unwilling to show the product correctly by not putting them on the counter so i could view them, she had no idea about the payment options the store used, and then she forgets to give me all that i paid for. Their way of fixing the problem by having me need to drive back down there bringing the total time of driving it took to get this bong up to 240 minutes is ridiculous. I explained i lived over 40 minutes away and drove there specifically to shop and it was super inconvenient for me to drive back there and that i couldn't even do it my girlfriend needed to. They offered no solution and did not seem to care at all. They could have offered to ship it along with the grunge off realizing how far away i was. Or offered me a discount. Or offered me a decent product for the inconvenience. Instead i was offered grunge off and forced to have my girlfriend drive there to pick up what i already paid for. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and i would suggest you go elsewhere. The product selection is unrivaled but the customer service is non existent. What a bummer. read more

After reading a few negative reviews people have left here I felt it necessary to add my experience. First and foremost, this place is awesome so don't listen to any of these other people who say otherwise. I first visited this place several weeks ago in hopes of leaving with some new glass. Parking is in the rear and depending when you go you can find a spot pretty easily. When I first walked in there were several other people there being helped so I started looking at the different tubes. Once everyone filed out, the associate who's name was Amy asked if there was anything in particular I was looking for. After telling her what I was looking for and how much I was looking to spend she proceeded to show me a few options. One thing that I really liked was I didn't feel pressured to get this glass or that glass and I felt super comfortable the whole time. I picked out the tube I wanted and got rung up (with a slight discount). My buddy who came with me wanted to get some cigars and wraps so Amy gave us some ideas on what she enjoys and why.
