In early January, I contacted the Henderson office to schedule an appointment with Dr Wu. Dr Wu has always been my doctor, yet lately the staff has been trying to push me off on the PA Neil. After waiting 2 long weeks for my TPI appointment, I realized that they had mistakenly set up my appointment with Neil. They only confirmed that when they sent me the reminder notice the day before my appointment. I called and spoke to Lauren at the Henderson office regarding the mistake with my appointment. she tried to resolve it and scheduled my TPI for the following day at the Henderson office with Dr wu. They claimed that Dr Wu refuses to administer my appointment without the first appointment that I had called about in early january. This was pushing off my TPI until the end of the month. After an hour or so, I had Dr Wu's assistant call me to discuss the protocol. I explained again the mistakes that were made. I asked why weren't the tpis being administered by Dr Wu the way he had explained it to me? I also explained that my insurance doesn't require the pre-approval so the reason I have been given previously about why three appointments are necessary for one TPI shot had been a lie. Anyway, I was told that their manager would contact my office. I asked, "If this was the same manager that's over the other locations?" She confirmed that it was. I explained that I've dealt with her before and she is the rudest person I've ever spoken with. I was told that she would call me back anyway. I then received three calls from their office and the person on the phone pretended like they couldn't hear me. Yeah right! This is the only doctor's office that I know that requires three appointments for a TPI. They make you come in for an initial appointment, then the TPI appointment and then a follow-up. I had to follow up with my insurance to see why this office is acting in this manner. I also don't understand why the PA will see me without an initial appointment, however Dr Wu will not! Something is definitely up I would go to any other office other than Innovative pain care. Even if the doctors are good, their administrative staff is absolutely incompetent! My third time here. So far, I have had no problems. Insurance fine. Wait time has been low. Staff is friendly. Nice waiting room. Close to my house. They keep on schedule relatively well, the OV is usually short. The Dr / PA have been nice and explained everything well. The procedures have gone well. Overall, the experience has been going well. I was hesitant to the experience, given the reviews, but had limited choices due to insurance provider, but I have to say, I have been quite, pleasantly surprised and I have to remind myself that some people may reflect their frustration due to their pain level and lack of cooperation by insurance providers. Other than the fact that they cannot figure out that I go by my middle name, no matter if I underline and put in parentheses, I have nothing but good things to say. read more

Looking for great customer service on the phone? Look elsewhere. Looking for fair pricing for a medical consultation? Look elsewhere. I phoned this company to ask for pricing for an initial consultation and Ariel and Stephanie were very evasive on the phone about pricing. Finally, Stephanie said the price would be between $500.00 to $650.00 depending on how much time you spend with the Doctor. That pricing is outrageous!!! When I expressed my shock and horror about pricing Stephanie hung up on me. A few minutes later I called back to cancel my appointment and unfortunately I got Stephanie on the phone again. She said she canceled the appointment and then wanted to know why I canceled. Seriously? Ahhh, high pricing and you hanging up on me should have been a clue! I have been using this innovative pain center since 2010 everyone is very nice and polite. Last week I spoke to a Morgan don't know who she is but the staff also says that she's not very nice. Well my message didn't go very well I stated that I might be out in 5 days would I be able to get a refill. Well Morgan got back to me and she was very nasty I hope these calls are monitored because now I am not able to see this pain center any longer as I'm very hurt with my doctor and the staff but with this girl Morgan that is supposed to be a head girl she stated she didn't know how to read my chart but she knew how to read a statement of how many pills I take a day which was 4-5 which I stated that sometimes I might take an extra one due to I no longer can receive shots because of my stents in my heart and I also have heart failure so yes I did take more but I did not ask for a refill I asked if I was out can I get another one very hurtful that no one wanted to know how I felt or what my statement was just went with the fact that what she said God don't like ugly little girl read more

I went to this office 2 weeks ago. I was taken care of promptly and unlike other places like the VA, the doctor took an extended period of time to perform a thorough examination. He had an injection done in my r) shoulder which helped immensely with my pain. At the same time, it established there were two sources of pain occurring simultaneously but never knew it. Now the second area is identified and can be treated. If all this wasn't enough, he refused to do a pain injection in my left hand until an MRI was done. That way he can make sure the proper treatment is done rather than just assuming. I'm in a wheelchair with severe spinal pain yet they did their best to make my visit reasonably comfortable. People can complain all they want but I am quick to identify poor customer service. It was nothing but the best for myself. read more

I've been a patient here for 2 years. Mostly for maintenance medication but have had some procedures done as well. I cannot say nicer things about the staff. They are friendly and personable. They really CARE for their patients. Mike is the most genuine healthcare provider I've ever had. The ladies that work the front desk are always friendly and accommodating. I spoke with Heather today on the phone about an insurance issue, and was blown away by her sensitivity in helping me figure out the steps to solve it. This is a wonderful practice. read more

I have been a patient here since 2014. I am a disabled Registered Nurse, and cannot say enough wonderful things about Mike Scott, PA, Dr Wu who regularly does my neck and low back injections, and the very kind front/back office staff. I have never had a PA/Doctor care as much as Mike & Dr Wu. They really are one of a kind. I started going to the Innovative Pain Care Surgery Center on Cheyenne. Of all the surgery centers I have had to go to for injections, this is by far the best. The staff is educated, kind, compassionate, and empathetic. Thank you so much for caring as much as you do! If you are in pain? Do yourself a favor and SKIP this place!! If you fail to do enough $procedures? They will find a reason to discharge you, but just before they dump you, they will treat you like a drug seeker or an addict. Usually, Walgreens will be happy to accommodate their dishonesty. As soon as they were ready to make an appointment they informed me that the owner of the place will not prescribe the pain medication I have been on for 15 years as a matter of policy. They are not practicing medicine. They are practicing scared medicine which endangers patients. Avoid at all costs unless you are prepared to suffer. read more

TERRIBLE FRONT OFFICE STAFF. ARRIVED 30 minutes prior to my appointment to see Dr. Dzung on referral from advanced orthopedic specialist for pain i've been experiencing for months for the sole intent of getting down to the root cause. No need or desire for medication only an order for an MRI. to be told I was not able to be seen as I should of arrived an hour prior to my appointment. No empathy or display of understanding. I've been a patient for 4 months and never had any issue with the staff until today. I recently had 2 lumbar injections and now today 2:30pm after being rescheduled again for a follow up. And now again I am being rescheduled for another week because they failed to let me know my appointment time and date was supposed to be 2:00 pm. They had told me 2:30 pm. I had to take off work just for the appointment. I had also asked that my meds were due for this month and all they said was there going to leave a message for the doctor let alone I'm not actually seeing the specialist but his PA Micheal Scott who him and his staff refused to see me over a misunderstanding. 30 min late to them but I arrived 2:20 so I get rescheduled another week out? Seriously? It pisses me off because after the injections with no relief it is crucial for me as a patient to let them know I've been in pain since then with no relief. 2 stars is what they get because prior to this issue MA Morgan at Henderson location has always taken care of my needs whenever I needed help. Ever since I've been transferred to see PA Michael Scott it has been nothing but cold shoulders and shruggs as soon as you enter the sign in window. I even said I would wait in the waiting room until they can see me or fit me in since this is my only free time and need to see the doctor prior to the injections. I wouldn't have minded if they rescheduled me the next day but another week out is just absurd. I am now having second thoughts of seeking another doctor who has better staff then here "INNOVATIVE PAIN CARE" don't waste your time even trying to be a new patient because it took me awhile just to get established with this center and now having to restart with another DR because of a petty misunderstanding. read more

I'm so glad they are so awful bc I found a 5 star Dr. I never had a bad experience with any Dr until Dr Wu. I saw him 1x. If they don't have enough PA's or Dr to see patients the Secretary will give u a narcotic rx, I don't think that is legal though. I think u have 2 see a Dr or PA. The Secretary didn't exam me though she handed me a RX from her seat behind the glass 3x. Then Wu came in 1x never seen him b4 and he didn't seem to know anything about my case but I couldn't say anything or my partner. I tried 2 tell him I've been sick with stomach flu but couldn't recall last time I took pain med & that's why my drug screen came out negative but he wouldn't listen to me & discharged me from practice for a NEGATIVE DRUG TEST(REALLY, I'm glad it wasn't + this guy is an idiot) but a secretary gave me narcotics rx. If a nurse got treated this way I'm fearful for the other patients. Look into his partner, he doesn't have a good reputation by the neurosurgeons. My new Dr did update MRI & CT and my spine was worse that we thought(6 herniated disc and RSD spread to all extremities now). This practice isn't knowledgeable about ur condition, not current, no exam, scary. My RSD has spread to my feet & I just had 6th fall in 3 yrs and fracture my ankle. My RSD is in all extremities now, My L/S spine is worse. No current tests even though u reported it on the chart u fill out, maybe bc Secretary saw me from her chair. They really discharged me bc they only want to push injections(10K PER INJECTION) even if they don't work bc I NEED SURGERY, HELLO. Could b bc I have 6 herniated disc now. Scary practice read more

This place makes me soooo frustrated! They never run on time, they mess up your appointments but they sure make sure they collect your money first thing so you feel like you can't leave cause you already paid. I like Mike Eastman he truly seems to care about you and that's why I give it three stars but the office it self over books appointments and when you ask the front desk how much longer they look at you like you have three heads. People schedule appointments around their day I get being 15 mins late or something patients before you may have questions but my last appointment I spent 1 hour 10 mins waiting in the waiting room past my appointment time before being called back to a room. read more

If you'd like a terrible experience and to be yelled at and treated like a child... see PA Eastman. Not knowing the full issue, he inserted himself into a situation and yelled, ridiculed, was condescending to me while in the waiting room, the manager had to get involved by saying "Mike, I've got it go ahead back there," and then after everything and finally being seen... Closed with your care is being transferred. My appt was 6 minutes and 48 seconds (recorded it for my safety since her was a complete jerk earlier). considering I've been a patient over a year and was assigned to him when a great Dr. left.... never hearing me.... Or changing my care.... I'm not sad at all. I did request someone new 2 visits ago and finally i get one. Shame on you PA Eastman.... How dare you think your behavior was warranted and then "pass" me off instead of addressing and apologizing let alone rushing my visit compared to every other one and arguing with me that I've not been a patient for over a year! I asked for the medical assistant to stay in the room with me because I was deeply afraid of you and your behavior and clear anger management issues. Dr. Burkhead you've got a real winner here with this guy.... That was heavy sarcasm if you didn't catch it Your treatment today was appalling, undeserved and out of line. I didn't know the rules, there was an issue and I was asking questions to find a possible solution that could work, not to be treated like a disobedient child! I hope your counseled through this and there's video in your lobby that can be reviewed! Throwing a attitude, yelling at a patient while they're in the lobby only to throw them away and not address any of the other issues that you caused while you rush them out of the office is no way to treat anybody and you need counseling on Customer Service as well as your lack of manners and attitude adjustment coaching! The review below is nice, i wish i could agree. Normally I'd say he was ok to work with. Just didn't care to change things and always told me to wait to the next appt to check on things. But it was always pushed to the next etc. after today, call it a bad day or not.... A small apology would have helped change things. However, an hour later I'm still dealing with the negative from this! He needs to be talk to you and coach and I prefer an apology from him. First off I want to say that I'm very disappointed with the type of customer service that is provided here. The employee who's name is ( Evelyn ) who is a receptionist who comes to this location at time is a very rude person. She is very sarcastic and when asked a question she rolls her eyes. Another employee named ( Marisol ) who is a MA and ( Eunice ) who is also a MA, are also very rude. I have over heard them twice now swearing and taking about another employee there behind there back. I believe if they have issues with one or the other they should keep there conversations to themselves or talk to the manager about the issues instead of talking Loud enough for others to hear especially a patient. I know a few other patients who come here and also have said the same thing. But it's now all bad the pain management from the doctors are good. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have fibromyalgia and EDS, so I have chronic pain. My rheumatologist sent me to see Dr. Wu to look into options for medication to help with my pain. He was in the room for no more than 5 minutes. I told him what was wrong with me and he said there was "nothing that he could do for me" and he had "no idea why they sent me here because they only work with spine issues". He was extremely rude and dismissive towards me and I tried to ask questions but he just cut me off and sent me home. I've been afraid to go back to pain management ever since then. read more

Dr. Brimhall is great! I have been seeing him and his assistant Pam for a couple years now. They take the time to listen to my concerns and come up with a game plan. I have had 3 procedures done by dr. Brimhall and all have been very positive. The staff is friendly and always there to help. read more

They treated my mom terrible. Pam PA was verbally abusive to my mom. She tried to send my mom to a orthopedic surgeon that she use to work for & was going to work for again, but she crawled back begging for her job back. My mom should be sent to a surgeon by the Dr, not a PA. My mom started crying bc she was scared & Pam said "Do you need to see psychology" without asking my mom why she was scared (mom stopped breathing prior) This was brought to Dr Burkhead attention, by his receptionist & he didn't care. He won't stand up for the patient, ever. It is a conflict of interest. He fired 5 PA in 2 yrs & 2 of them said if you aren't a candidate for injections anymore they kick you to the curb & abandoned you without notice. Two of the PA told my mom they were fired bc they weren't pushing injections, even if they didn't help the patient. When they didn't have a Dr or PA to see you BC they fired them the receptionist just dispensed a prescription without the patient seeing any practitioner. I asked Mark PA if that was legal & he said he didn't know the law about that. Maybe they shouldn't write prescriptions if they don't know the law. They are scary here. My mom should have seen a Dr or PA, this went on for months. Go to a Dr who really cares for you, one who will stand up for you and not for illegal acts. There are many drs out here that truly care for you. Read the other reviews or BBB. You are important. These ppl are 2 stars for a reason, all the patients can't be wrong. Thank you read more

They treated my grandmother horrible. They wouldn't even let her speak. My grandmother has bad back pain and she explained what happened to her after a injection in the past. Dr wu just laughed and said we aren't here just to write prescriptions. They are just cruel, and uncaring. The Secretary was just sitting talking about a patient on the phone and didn't acknowledge we were even standing there for about 15 minutes. She called the patient a drug addict. They started laughing and said "I'm sick of these drug addicts". Idiots do you know who writes ur check. It's sad, I wonder if one day they have pain daily what will happen. If I could give Pam zero stars I would give her zero but that's not an option. Pam Albo is the PA at this location she's an hour behind and on top of that rescheduled me when I called I had when I was 5 min late because I don't normally come to this location but was to see her as a provider because my regular PA changed facilities! RIDICULOUS ! The scheduling is out of control for these medical providers. There was NO COMMUNICATION THAT I HAD CALLED IN ADVANCE. I'm so discouraged by the care I have received since Dale Delaney PA went another facility. I found him but they don't work Fridays and I cannot take off of work for appointments. Even worse when they recently they moved and didn't call to tell anyone! Ugh! Pam seems to not know me, doesn't review history and has now given me 2 different diagnoses. I'm going one last time before I find a new office. Don't ask me why other than its difficult to switch to new pain management office due to regulations. read more

Br. Brimhall and the staff are excellent. I've had chronic pain in my back for several years that other doctors haven't been able to relieve. After my last procedures, I've been able to greatly reduce the amount of medication I am taking, and am back to being able to be more active without pain. I am so very happy that I have THIS pain management center as my pain care providers. I have had multiple surgeries on my spine (sadly,) and 1 on my neck as well. I have had 2 other pain mgmt Dr's, that in NO WAY showed the care and concern that Dr. Burkhead's & Dr. Earnst office and staff have provided to me. Innovative Pain Care Clinic is the very BEST care clinic in this entire valley of Las Vegas!! This morning was a true moment of truth in how incredible they are. Here is my story: I had my regular monthly appointment at IPCC at the Henderson location (as usual) and SARAH, greeted me with such kindness and care. I had called them yesterday (with possibly needing to cancel) due to my kitty "Vinny" being in such grave condition at 15 years old. Well,..I kept my appointment for today, and it was SARAH that I had spoken to yesterday. She asked how Vinny was, and let me know she is a pet lover as well. We engaged in conversation that just made me feel like family. She was showing care and compassion about my dear cat, so you can just imagine how they operate at IPCC. They are so loving and caring and truly passionate about caring for their patients. Without a doubt, that would have never happened at either of the pain clinics I went to prior to having Innovative Pain Care Clinic as my care provider. They are always attentive, caring, concerned, and show how excellent they are as a pain health care clinic. They have helped me to realign my health goals, and given me the perfect treatment that I would want for myself, for any family member, friend, or for another. I would highly recommend THIS Pain Care Clinic for treatment and care, BECAUSE THEY DO CARE!! SARAH was so sweet, and set the tone for the entire day for me, not to mention Mark Earnst as my doctor and provider for treatment and plan for a healthier and better life!! read more

I have had nothing but issues with the Henderson office. DO NOT GO HERE! Not only do they treat everyone in pain like they are drug addicts, but they also lose paperwork - don't pay attention to medical history - and then blame you for not telling them... when you have listed it on every single form you have ever filled out. Today was the last straw! I was treated rudely by the staff and Mark Ernst... my family was treated rudely... and my medical information was discussed in the WAITING ROOM with other people present. I have had every single one of my other doctors tell me they have sent over test results and information to the office, and yet they claim they have nothing. I have filled out multiple releases for them to gain information, and yet they have not utilized that and instead blamed me that I didn't readily bring them every bit of records from each office. They don't control your pain. They don't pay attention to your medical history. They don't follow up when they are supposed to. It's a waste of time, money, and you are treated horribly. Please don't waste your time. Find someone else. I have even called my insurance and my other doctors to let them know not to refer to this facility or doctor anymore. read more
