I hired Innovative Repairs to complete a kitchen remodel. During the project, one of the individuals working under their company stole the tenant's jewelry and admitted it. When I requested liability insurance and bond information so the civil issue could be handled properly, the company refused to provide it. Instead, they paused work, demanded revised payment terms outside the signed contract, and ultimately stopped responding and abandoned the job. I had to hire another licensed contractor to finish the work. I recommend anyone considering this company verify licensing, insurance, and professionalism carefully. read more

Anthony and his crew do great work! I really felt like they went above and beyond and chose to think outside the box multiple times rather than taking the easy route. Quick backstory, The original contractor we hired to build us a master bathroom add-on was a great disappointment. They were a complete opposite. Horrible sub par craftsmanship. Took forever to do a shitty job to be honest. After the final inspection was done and knowing we weren't gonna be satisfied with what we were left with we found and hired Anthony to basically save the project. Where the other Contractor gave us excuses on why things looked the way they did Anthony had a solution and a solid plan of attack. His crew worked almost every day until it was done. They also did a really good job covering the floors in the house leading up to the bathroom and sweeping and cleaning up at the end of every day. Rudy, who does mostly the finishing work along with other trades after talking with him was impressive. He truly cares how things were going to look and function. His many years of experience shows. This company is horrible. My best friend owns a house and her neighbors redid a wall in the neighbors redoing the wall. This company destroyed their pavers and their landscaping and did not repair it on my best friends property line. Promised that they would come back out to fix it never did and went MIA. I don't think Anthony Aguilera is a bad person, but he is a terrible contractor--irresponsible, non-responsive, dishonest, and completely ignored our written agreement, then took an outrageous amount of money before disappearing after doing the worst possible quality of work. When he ghosted (as other reviewers have pointed out here) I had to track him down through mutual acquaintances who finally shamed him into contacting me. He then refused to fix the terrible cheap quality, warped and flimsy 'fence' he put up where there was supposed to be a double-sided, sturdy and high quality fence to replace my privacy wall. I won't go into all the other reasons to avoid this company. And unfortunately it wasn't worth my time and energy to pursue a lawsuit. But exposing him publicly is my way of warning others so they don't get burned. PLEASE save yourself the headache and the rip-off and go elsewhere. read more

I had a fence put in 2 years ago by Anthony. Fence blew down as he didn't put in concrete posts. 2 years and 2000 later as I have to have a real contractor fix and repair the 2 year old fence. Anthony put it in. This guy needs to be out of business. For those saying he does great work wait a a year of so and his terrible work will show itself. I reached out to him as well as his sister in law and sad to say he won't do anything. Time to go to court. read more

***update - I sued Innovative Repairs in small claims court and was granted a judgement in my favor. I then got a writ of execution and levied their business back account. The original $250 claim turned into a $400 bank garnishment for this business owner. It's laughable that Anthony Aguilera (business owner) replied to my post requesting documentation when he's been served with court paperwork previously by the LA Sheriffs as part of the small claims case (all of which he ignored). Typical of him to claim ignorance. He's still at it too with other clients as a few have been in touch with me voicing similar grievances. Beware and learn from my mistake. I won't soon forget the lessons I learned. NEVER AGAIN will I considering or recommend hiring Anthony Aguilera of Innovative Repairs. read more

Utilized this companies services for many home repairs. I would not use this company again. The major issue were (1) Anthony's hired help and (2) Anthony denying he was responsible for their work. His employees said they would do certain work and they lied. Example of paint issues: they did not sand the oil based cabinet doors down for proper latex paint to stick and it continues to peel off; they were to paint the rooms including ceiling and the latter was omitted; Anthony asked for 5x more paint than was needed and I was stuck with excess plus the extra cost. I requested the receipt for the new appliance so I could register the warranty and Anthony did not provide it which makes the high price very suspect. read more

Our go to handyman for any and all problems!! We have now had Anthony come out twice. Both visits Anthony and his team Deon and Steve have been on time, friendly, are very conscious of social distancing/mask wearing as well as other appreciated thoughtful details like wearing boot covers inside on the carpet. Anthony provides prices that are completely reasonable, especially for the superb work that gets completed. He has helped us with everything from rain gutters, mounting TVs, installing shelves, light fixtures, installing our washer and dryer, ventilation issues in our attic, and so many other items!! We will continue to reach out to Innovative Repairs for anything we come across in the future. I cannot recommend this company enough!! If I could leave half a star I would. 1 star does not do Anthony and his so called company any justice. He pushes all the work out to 3rd party people and then says they don't work for him when they do shitty work. I hired his company to replace my main kitchen line and 2 people arrived to carry out the work. They arrived at 11.30am and left at 4pm each day. It took over a month for them to do half the work. I got so fed up with Anthony and his team that I had to hire another company to come and finish the job. He will ask for a deposit, do barely any work and then ask for another chunk of money when the completion of work is at maybe 20%. When you try to let him know your displeasure on things and ask for money back, he then starts with the web of lies. He pretends like he has an "office" that he relays info back to but he doesn't. Just his way of acting professional. He was so shady with me that he delated his Venmo account after I tried to have money taken back from him and then he changed his number also. He said his office sent me a $1,500 check as a return for me paying another company to finish their job. That check never came of course. Anthony is about as shady as they come folks.
