Ill start off by saying, I've been a loyal customer for about 8 years now. I've referred people because of the service. However, I was not show any mercy today. It wS raining and storming like crazy. My appt time was 9:00am it's a 42min drive with the rain i left a little before 8am at 9 I was still in traffic I called them my ETA said 15mins However traffic wasn't moving. I literally less than 15 mins away. When I called it was ok well b able to see you. Soneone called back and said if I'm not there 15 mins I will hv to reschedule. I understand appts, but you hv a customer for 8 years telling you it'll b a little after 9:15 I've been in my car traveling for over a hour in the storm, no exception could be made. Now they have lost a customer and the ones I referred. I would've thought they would show a little grace because of the weather. I wasted my time and gas. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I live 2 hours away so it's a 4 hour trip. I went to get my temp bridge installed. It came out the very next day. Went back got it installed again it came out the very next day. Went back in a week for permanent bridge. It came out the very next day. I am having to go to another endodontist to get it put back in. If you are getting bridge work this is not the place. read more

Avoid this dental office at all costs. I thought it was a nice touch to have drinks available in the waiting room, with little personalized chapsticks. Until I realized the cost of services far exceed the cost of procedures and a cup of coffee. The waiting room and individual "rooms" in back are filled with Rodan & Fields. This place is more concerned about looking pretty vs doing good dental work. It's like going to get an oil change - go for one thing and get pressured and shamed into not "buying" other services. I let them talk me into having an old filling replaced. It never bothered me but the Dr convinced me it would turn into a huge problem if I didn't fix it. I reluctantly made an appointment and 1 Year later the filling is completely ruined - in actual bad shape this time. Don't spend the extra money on the nitrous oxide gas, it doesn't help. Dr.Talley gives less lidocaine when you use the gas and when you suggest the pain is real he offers up a real caring " Sigh....it'll be over soon. Just relax" The techs there doing the Invisalign are all new and have no idea what they are doing. They refuse Friday appointments and are only available at 8am or 1pm, which they don't tell you until after you've signed up. Do your research. Call local offices with better reviews and inquire about pricing. You'll find the best offices charge less for far better dental and orthodontic work and better customer service. read more

BEWARE!!! Dr. Talley is great, but his office staff is terrible and their prices are sky high. My daughter had two cavities filled today and the entire cost came out of my pocket. She is double covered by my insurance and my husbands, but still I was charged for the entire cost. We have already cancelled everything with Innovative Smiles and scheduled our up coming cleaning with a new dentist. The person I spoke to about the charges from today and cancelling our upcoming appointments, could have cared less that I was upset and we were leaving. That speaks volumes to me...they don't care about the patient just the money! Too many dentist to choose from to deal with incompetent office staff who don't care. read more

Honest is the first thing about this office I would tell people. The staff is friendly and professional. I have had a lot of dental work done and this is the first office that I was pain free. Shots and all. Dr Talley is skilled and it shows. I have never been happier with my dental plan. I am also 4 months into my Invisalign. My bite will finally be comfortable as well as straight! Do not go to this dentist. I called our insurance company for my husband the day before his cleaning to find out how much our portion should be. This dentist is in our network and therefore we should not have any charges. They told my husband that is not true and made him pay $30 more than the contracted rate. They are not honest. They perform services without your authorization then tell you that you owe them. Stay away. I give them ZERO stars. read more

I'm actually disappointed I have to leave this review. I first visited this office in 2016 and I LOVED it. The hygienist was nice, did great work, and my initial encounter with Dr Talley was excellent. Another visit in 2016 I came into the office while Dr Talley was on vacation. My cleaning finished early so they recommended I get a filling taken care of but since Dr Talley was away, another doctor would it. They told, "Dr Kim is Dr Talley's right hand man and Dr Talley wouldn't have him in the office if he didn't trust him." ...so I got the filling done. Two years later and I'm in Dr Talley's office and the same tooth needs a root canal. I have fillings I got done 15 years ago that are still in tact, so why does this 2 year old filling need a root canal?!?!?!?! Once I brought this to the attn of the staff, they said they would have Dr Talley call me. I talk to Dr Talley and come to find out this Dr Kim guy was a TEMPORARY dentist in the office....I was never informed of this. And all of sudden it's not uncommon for a filling to need more work after it's been placed...."Dr" Kim never told me that either. And I didn't expect this because like I said...I dont have a problem with any of metallic or white fillings. Dr Talley then informs me that after I get the root canal, he won't place my crown until (get this) I get a full mouth deep cleaning that will cost me $800 after my insurance contribution. Then he'll give me the $550 crown. AND I'll have to get the all this done WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER THE ROOT CANAL?!??!!? Mind you, my out of pocket for the root canal itself was $541. Talk about feeling robbed!!!!!!! After explaining all this to Dr Talley, he really just sounded like he could care less about my frustration. He said he would see if he could comp/discount my future services to help with my frustration, but I never heard back from him. Then the following week, an receptionist called and said, "I see you got that root canal done! Ready to get those cleanings?!?" ....ummm NO. She was clueless about the convo I had with Dr Talley. I'm a business owner myself, so I understand it's not fun dealing with disgruntled customers. But you can't just ignore them. It's disrespectful, dismissive, and extremely inconsiderate. I took my hard earned money elsewhere. And the crown I have is amazing and I paid less money for it. And my new dentist also did not force me to do cleanings before saving my dead tooth. I'm on a treatment plan that is now more affordable while saving all my teeth. read more

BY FAR the best dentist office I've ever had to deal with. The staff is exceptionally nice and darn good at their jobs. They seem to only hire fun & happy people and it's been that way for the 4+ years I've been going there. Dr. Talley himself is a paragon of professionalism and you will leave there knowing your teeth have been thoroughly cared for. Stay away! Went there for a cleaning and was told they called my insurance and my out of pocket would be under $100 then get a statement from my insurance saying I owed Innovative Smiles $220. It's very easy to find out what your insurance will pay as I have done it before so I was clearly deceived. At this initial visit they also said all my filling need to be replaced (I'm in my early 30s) so I agreed considering them the experts. When I went to have the fillings done I brought the paper from my insurance company and asked if they could talk to me about it. After sitting down waiting for a short while they called me back so I asked if we were going to talk about the letter from my insurance and they told me they would discuss it with me after they did the fillings. I said no that I wanted to talk about it before where they poorly tried to explain the discrepancy. Summary of the story, they tried to do more procedures before explaining they gave inaccurate information about the costs of services which is easily obtained. Bad business! After seeing another dentist he said my fillings were fine and none of them needed to be replaced. read more

Innovative smiles has to be the best practice in Georgia. They are super high tech and professional, and very accommodating. Dr Talley and his team are all experts and they even guarantee the work for years. They have done fillings and crowns for me and even took out my wisdom teeth. It didn't hurt at all and the work is always state of the art. They use the latest technology that I have never seen at other practices. I brought my friend here to get her wisdom teeth out and she actually enjoyed it if you can believe. Anyways you are a fool if you go anywhere else - I live on the west coast and I still fly in to come here. My insurance was ending, and I needed some work done and they moved everything around to get me in on time. The office even called my insurance while I was there to get me some more benefits. So if you want expert, state of the art work done by a team of pros this is the place for sure! read more
