    From day one of hiring Mr. Esquibias to handle a trust dispute for us, he presented himself as an…read morearrogant, money hungry prick. He immediately asked for a retainer and started charging to our account without fully understanding our primary objective. Each one of the hearings he arranged through the past 2 years resulted in absolutely no progress. After repeatedly questioning the effectiveness of his strategy, we discovered he was heading in the opposite direction from which we had discussed with him. It turned out that there was something that he could have implemented early on in our case that would have saved us a lot of money and frustration but, he chose not to do it. I think the embarrassment of us calling him out on his incompetence made him very contentious because he asked for immediate payment of our outstanding balance or else he would stop representing us. We severed ties with him the very next day. Early on in our tenure with him he told us our case was a "Slam Dunk" but after it dragged on, he just wanted it to go away. I guess our case was small potatoes to a big shot lawyer like him, yet he devised a game plan that would extract over $40K from us, without recovering one cent from the trust for us. Do yourself a favor and stay clear from this piece of crap lawyer, he is bad news and will bleed you dry.

I found OfficeLocale and decided to give them a try. Little did I know that this was a one stop shop not just for printing services, but you also get an office space you can rent, P.O. Boxes, and amazing customer service. The owner, Zee, is very informative and charismatic. Has a lot of products to offer that are unique and also standards in the industry. If I'm ever in Thousand Oaks again and need to get any printing services done, I'm coming to OfficeLocale!

    I came here for a Live Scan appointment and due to my strange work hours, I chose this place…read morebecause they offer flexible hours. They're technically open "24 hours" and the owners states that you can call any time and he can meet you at the office. The primary office is a rental space but they offer other services such as passport renewal, notary, etc. When I first went I was grateful for the flexibility and Zee was very friendly. There were some difficulties getting good quality fingerprints and he submitted it saying that it should "be okay." A couple days later, I received a notification that my fingerprints had been rejected and I needed to return to the same site to get a repeat Live Scan done. I was in TO visiting family but I work a couple hours away, so I had to re-arrange my schedule to drive all the way back for a Live Scan appointment. When I had scheduled my first appointment, I had called about 1 week in advance and he requested that I call the day-of instead, preferably a couple hours before I could come in. So for my second appointment, I called the office the morning of and no answer. I called a couple more times, and still no answer. I finally got in touch with the operator (who I'm guessing works remotely) and at first she had no clue what I was talking about when I requested a Live Scan appointment and asked if I had called the correct number. She said she'd leave a message and give me a call back shortly. She didn't get back to me so I called again 1-hour later. She had no clue who I was even though I had just gotten off the phone with her, and we had to start over again. She then told me Zee was "not online" and would try to get my message to him and give me a call back. Again, no call back. I called her a third time- she still didn't know who I was and we had to repeat the whole song and dance. I decided to just show up to the office to see if anyone was there, but of course it was locked. The next day, I tried calling a couple times and no one answered. I ended up having to chat with the business through Google just to find out Zee was out of town and that he would get back to me. He gave me a call back the following day stating he was out of town with no service. While this isn't entirely his fault, I was really frustrated by the lack of communication and even more frustrated because I was specifically told not to call too far in advance (which would've prevented this whole fiasco). He is very friendly and I think the services are convenient... until they're not... but I was also uncomfortable because he sort of pressures every customer to leave a 5-star review on platforms such as Yelp and Google. Based on the other reviews customers have left, I'm sure my experience was an exception to the norm but next time I will try to find a place that is more consistent and reliable.

    I cannot express the level of disappointment I feel with this company. I have bought several mugs…read morefrom them for many different people. My husband's first mug failed and we figured maybe it was because we put it in the dishwasher or whatever and we just ate the cost of that. So we got a new one and we only hand washed it and it ended up failing within 18 months. Luckily learning from the first mug that we purchased, I got the Warranty I paid extra for the warranty. Well, lo and behold the second mug failed and I went to go use the warranty and not only did it take forever for customer service to get a hold of them, but then they took forever to send me a replacement and they said it was the mug, but it wasn't and it ended up being the charging base and then they didn't have the correct color to match the mug that I had for the charging base so now I got a replacement charging base, but it doesn't match the color of the mug. I feel that when you spend extra money for a warranty it should be a full replacement of all parts in order to make you whole when their product failed not within an unreasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, I will no longer be purchasing products from this company and it's a shame because when the product works well it's a great product. I have them 2 stars because I did eventually get the part that I needed to make the mug work again (even though it was the wrong color as they were sold out of the color my mug was), but it took WEEKS and that's unacceptable especially when you bought the warranty on top of purchasing the product. Not right.

    In December of 2020 I sold my business and retired. I paid all the capital gains and moved on. It…read moretakes a year or so to settle into retirement and just when I thought I was getting there the IRS sent me a letter that I owed them taxes on commissions paid to the new buyer. To say I went down a rabbit hole would be putting it mildly. I spent over a year sending documentation, letters and making phone calls. Sending a copy of the sales contract that stated the buyer took over the bank account etc. It seemed that there was never anyone that could connect the dots. I filed a case in tax court and had an appointment with an appeals officer. It just seemed to get worse and I just seemed to drown in frustration. I was worn down. A day or two after my call with the appeals office I became very angry and I decided I was not prepared to pay a large amount I did not owe. I needed someone in my corner. I literally found John Faucher by searching the internet . I think an angel was sitting on my shoulder when I made that call as John was a Godsend. We had a few calls, emails and I sent documentation as he requested. I think what made me feel so much better was his calm demeanor. He didn't sugar coat anything. Of course best of all he has worked on the other side as an IRS attorney. It seemed he could understand and communicate with IRS employees in a way I had never been capable of. John talked to the appeals officer and decided the case needed to go to the court. In a short amount of time he started dealing with the attorneys for the IRS. A few weeks later I was on a shuttle to the airport when I received a call from John and she said "It's over, the IRS just conceded". I was stunned and speechless, frankly I didn't believe it. Within a couple of weeks I had signed the paperwork stating zero taxes due as did the judge. It was over! Just the other day I received the last accounting of hours from John and a refund check of money not used. I have dealt with attorneys for business sales I have done. I have not known any so calm, so direct, factual and honest. I will refer John Faucher to anyone who needs him. I highly recommend him.
