Twice I inquired about consigning a horse with these people, once through their "contact us" page on their website, the other through private message on their facebook page. Never got any response. To me that is no way to do business. If they did not think my horse was good enough or expensive enough, they could still respond saying, thanks but no thanks. We purchased not one, but two wonderful horses from Inside Out. It seems that most of their horse sales are consignment arrangements, and it is obvious that they carefully select the horses that they sell. The proprietors are gifted horse trainers. Before they sell any horse, they train them up and become intimately familiar with their capabilities. They use that information to fit the horse to potential buyers. The horses we purchased were a perfect fit for us, and everything they told us about them was right on target. I have become convinced that THIS is the way to buy a horse. Yes, you will pay a slight premium for a horse, but gone is the worry of discovering weeks or months down the road that you purchased a horse with "issues" and have no remedy (which is a great way to fill a pasture with ornaments, but a risky way to purchase a horse you intend to ride). In the unlikely event that you do have problems, they stand behind their horses with professional advice, training, and if all else fails, return and credit. The prices were quite good, and the small premium we paid was worth every penny for the fine state of training the horses were in when received, and the knowledge that we had professionals ready to help if problems arose.
