Perfect place to chill out on a Saturday and grab some ice cream. You can always enjoy the people watching from their patio or inside with air conditioning so many different varieties of ice creams and sorbet.

Ended up here because Little Man had an hour long line...and this place was great! I got the smallest size, a junior for just under $6. It is a small scoop, but the perfect amount of Minnesota salted Carmel. The guy who worked there said it's made from a pudding recipe. There are 3 or 3 tables inside and some seating outside. Bathroom inside.

Nice easy going ice cream shop on Platte St. They had 20 flavors of ice cream and sorbet you can get in a cup or cone. They welcome dogs. While I was there, several groups of customers came in with small & large dogs. There were 2 staff persons and they said hi when I walked in. An interesting piece of art on the wall showing varities of ice cream scoops including sign indicating first African American, Alfred Cralle to be awarded a patent for inventing the ice cream scoop in Pittsburgh on February 2, 1897. I got the Oreo and peach sorbet in a cone. The Oreo was so good, I got a 2nd helping in a cup.

Inside Scoop is a nice alternative if you're looking for a smaller establishment, shorter lines, creamy ice cream and not having to walk over the bridge to the overhyped place in the highlands. When we lived in Denver, we'd pop into the Littleton location since that was closer to where we lived at the time. As tourists now, we had dinner down the street and wanted a sweet treat afterwards so came to the Platte location. The guy working was hilarious, friendly, super informative and helpful. There's plenty of seating inside with a couple of tables outside as well. My husband and I shared a double scoop of Oreo and their version of butter pecan, though I forget exactly what we ordered. I just know both were creamy and delicious.

The Scarlet Vetter says....this cute creamery in Denver has great homemade ice cream. A nice selection awaits you---some of the more traditional flavors and some true surprises. The Honey Lavender and the Key Lime Pie are fabulous as reported by my ice cream traveling companions. I had the Ginger Snap and it was truly delicious. Horchata, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Snickers, Minnesota Salted Toffee and Peanut Butter Pretzel also looked scrumptious. The shop has plenty of seating available and it is a great little place to tuck into for a treat on an afternoon walk.

Nice ice cream shop with good service and yummy flavors. We got the salty pistachio and rocky road. The pistachio wasn't very salty but was a solid pistachio ice cream. The rocky road was also good but nothing outstanding. Overall recommend this place especially if you're in the area and looking for a dessert after dinner.

You can't really go wrong when the first thing you notice about an ice cream shop is the inviting smell of waffle cones! I decided to branch out from my usual flavor and try the Minnesota Salted Toffee. I was really expecting a little more toffee and perhaps after eating for a bit that immediate taste was gone but did get notes of maple syrup. I liked that it was really creamy (so creamy it didn't want to stay as a scoop in my cone so in a cup it went)! Another good piece was the little chocolate chunks, hello chocolate. The staff was very friendly, people followed covid protocols. Overall good experience :)

65 degrees in early February? Sounds like a day designed to eat ice cream if you ask me! A waffle cone perfectly hit the spot after a jog in the nearby park (yes, the jog was solely to justify the ice cream). As always, the individual working when I stopped in was phenomenal, and was nothing but patient and friendly while I changed my mind about 25 times. I ultimately decided to forgo my classic favorites (easier said than done!) to try some flavors I haven't yet had. I went with a half scoop of strawberry and a half scoop of Minnesota Salted Toffee. Unsurprisingly, my scoops were insanely creamy and packed with flavor. So glad that Inside Scoop is back open!

Single scoop of the lemon crunch on a sugar cone

Often overshadowed by Little Man looming on the corner, we stopped in to avoid the lines and were delighted! They have a good variety of flavors, the ice cream was soft and creamy, and the servings were amazing. I got a single scoop of the lemon crunch pictured below which tastes like a liquified lemon bar and is my hands down favorite. Other contenders were the chocolate chip cookie dough and honey lavender. My husband got a shake (any flavor can be a shake) but felt he preferred just their regular ice cream. Definitely pop in this summer, I've always had friendly servers and love the seasonal options.

Beyond serving ice cream, they serve as an outdoor gathering spot with events like ice cream making, movies on a projector screen, and live music throughout the year. They also sell real Christmas trees (little ones for the little men/women in your life) during the holidays. This is LoHi, so be prepared for a bit of street parking headache if you're driving here. While waiting in line, browse the posted signs for current specials and sneak a peek at the scoop flavors posted between each order window. On extra long wait days, you can walk down the street to their factory location just a few yards down to save time on their year-round flavors. They do have dairy-free options as well. Once you're at the front, walk up to the first open scooper at any of the various windows and you can sample any flavor on the menu. Obviously the Salty O (a salty Oreo) is a staple, but I'm partial to their Ube Cheesecake (it does taste like ube!) as well. Some of their salty flavors can err a little TOO salty, which was a first for me ice cream wise, so just be warned that I wouldn't get more than a single scoop of these unless you're a sodium fiend. Their ice cream sandwiches are pretty good too, but come out solid as a rock from the freezer so you might get stuck thawing this in your pocket while the rest of your friends are downing their dessert. Take a minute to unplug and people watch on the patio while you enjoy.

This tiny, adorable hole-in-the-wall shop is everything you want in a neighborhood ice cream spot -- warm, welcoming, unpretentious, and run by two of the most genuinely lovely women I've ever encountered in the food service industry. From the moment our group of six walked in, we felt like we'd been coming here for years. They were patient, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about every single thing they make. Now let me talk about the ICE CREAM, because wow. Six people, multiple flavors between us, and not one single complaint -- which if you know my family, is basically a miracle. Everything was rich, creamy, and tasted completely homemade in the best possible way. But the thing that absolutely sent me over the edge? BANANA PUDDING. Multiple banana pudding options. I grew up in the South and I have been low-key grieving the lack of banana pudding culture everywhere else I've lived, and here it is -- in Denver, Colorado -- done absolutely right. I may have embarrassed myself slightly. No regrets. This is a Black woman-owned business and these two have built something truly special. It's family-friendly, it's joyful, and it has that rare quality of feeling like a place that was made with real love. If you're anywhere near the museum, you would be genuinely doing yourself a disservice to walk past this place. Go in. Get the banana pudding. Thank me later.
