First off I would say that the creamery has amazing service. There were several staff members waiting to take our order and we're very friendly. Stopped by this charming, vintage-style ice cream spot with my boyfriend after my birthday dinner, and wow--such a sweet way to end the night. We originally wanted to check it out because the line was literally wrapped around the place (always a good sign), but it moved surprisingly fast. We were definitely overdressed coming from a fine dining dinner, but the server was so kind--he complimented us, asked what we were celebrating, and when I told him it was my birthday, he made it extra special by not charging me for my ice cream and giving us a military discount. Totally unexpected and genuinely appreciated. Now... the ice cream. SO good. We both absolutely devoured ours--rich, creamy, classic perfection. I got a two-scoop waffle cone with lemon custard and (I think) Bordeaux cherry, and I haven't stopped thinking about that lemon custard since. They don't just make the ice cream taste like oatmeal raisin cookies; there are huge chunks of actual oatmeal raisin cookies mixed throughout, which made it even better. If you're an oatmeal raisin cookie fan like I am, this flavor is an absolute must-try!! I also tried the Salted Oreo. For a double scoop in a cup, it cost about $8-$9. While they have great vegan and dairy-free options, the Salted Oreo I get is their traditional dairy version. Homemade: One of the reasons it tastes so good is that they make their own ice cream and cones right on-site!
