Despite my many visits to cookies shops, this is my first time to Insomnia Cookies at this location, located at University Village next Florida Gulf Coast University. Many cookies shops operating during the normal day hours only but Insomnia Cookies operating from 12 PM to 1 AM! Hey, this is convenient for a late-night sweet treat! I walked in and bought a Deluxe 4 pack cookies for $18.29. The counter is small but clean. The staff, Grace was smiling and friendly. The Deluxe cookies are more expensive than the classic cookies, but I want to satisfying our taste buds! Our selection were S'mores, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Chunk Brookie. The S'mores baked with marshmallow, graham cracker and a rich chocolate chunks. A warm and decadent cookie! The Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup cookie is outstanding with Reese's Peanut Butter Cup baked in! I'm a fan of Reese's Cup. On my first bite, word came out, "Mmm". Chocolate Chunk Blondie can ruin your mental ability, one bit it tastes like a cookie, another bite it tastes like a brownie. Will have the Chocolate chip brownie in the morning or with my afternoon coffee! Insomnia Cookies offer more than just cookies! You can have ice cream or cookie-wich, two classic cookies with ice cream! One thing I learned from Insomnia Cookies, the cookies won't make you sleepy or keep you up or awake. I was very excited to try ordering from Insomnia; had heard good things. Decided to treat my kids to ice cream and a 6 pack from what has been billed as 'a better version of Crumbl.' Sadly, I cannot truly comment. You see, dear reader, I ordered the following: 1. 6 pack of assorted cookies 2. Two scoops of peanut butter ice cream on a cookie 3. Two brownies What was delivered: 1. One small container of cold peanut butter soup 2. Two thin, tasteless chocolate chip cookies 3. That's it. Can I recommend Insomnia Cookies? Sure, if you a) don't like cookies, b) like spending money and not receiving what you ordered, and c) getting hung up on when you call to find out what happened. There are lots of cookie places out there but Insomnia are hands down the best cookies. While the competition puts out thick, dense cookies, Insomnia cookies are moist and delicious. We made a special trip today as we do not have location close by and Insomnia cookies did not disappoint. Yummy as always. read more

All I wanted was a couple cookies to bring to my coworkers and I was rudely greeted by a cashier at 11pm on 1/17/2026. I asked for 3 different kinds of cookies and coincidently they were out of all of them. At this rate, I asked to just pick 6 cookies of her choosing so I could get out of there. Then she gave rude looks and remarks to me as I finished my purchase. Service and attitude were awful. Cookies were fine because they were in a warmer under the counter, hence 2 stars. read more

I would love to give these a five stars as the cookies were amazing, but the prices are outrageous. For six classic cookies it was $15 and some change.. I am also a crumbl cookie fan and their cookies are massive for $15, but insomnia cookies are very small for the price. Great, quick service. read more

Out of all the cookie shops I have been to Insomia blows every single one of them out of the water. This location is always so clean, from the windows looking in to even behind the counter where the employees work, there is not a single speck of dirt. The cookies are so warm and delisious; its literally like eating a cookie right out of the oven! They are the perfect size unlike the competion that have these massive doughy cookies that just crumble apart the second you pick them up. There's also the team, every single one of them that I have interacted with have had similes on their faces and great positive attitudes! Most people now and days don't give off the vibe that they enjoy their jobs but not here at Insomia; they always go above and beyond to make the experience soooo much more enjoyable. Ms. Theresa is the perfect example, she always smiles and welcomes you in from the second you open the door to giving out great suggestions for cookies, and letting you know about all the discounts they are doing at the time so you get the most out of your money. Good cookies but was really disappointed with how they handle someone saying they have an allergy. I was picking up some cookies for myself and my sister who has a tree nut allergy. We understand the risk associated with ordering from a place that serves a couple items with tree nuts and take the necessary precautions to avoid contact (telling service workers there is an allergy so they can attempt to avoid cross contamination, having an epipen and Benadryl on hand). But what, people with allergies aren't allowed to have a treat according to insomnia? When I mentioned the allergy the boy working told me there is cross contamination in every step of the cookie making and storing process.. what? You have 2 cookies with nuts, how is everything cross contaminated? He then knew exactly what I was going to ask for and immediately tells me you use the same spatula to scoop every cookie and we just shouldn't even order there and then points to a sticker and says "it's literally on a sign right there"... i asked "so there's nothing you can do to attempt to avoid cross contamination for customers who have common allergies" and he said no. This is the first experience we have had at any type of bakery/ ice cream shop that sells some products with nuts. As a business, all you can do is say "we don't advise you get cookies as there is risk of cross contamination but the only thing I can do for you is use a clean spatula to scoop your cookies into your box". Staff needs better training on how to deal with these situations. Disappointing. read more

This does not reflect on the quality of the cookies themselves. However, the delivery experience was extremely subpar. Ordering through the app is an extremely backwards experience. The company insists that you order through their app, as they 'will not be able to contact the delivery driver if you order through Uber or Grubhub'. Our original order never arrived, and we assumed the delivery driver must have delivered to the wrong location. In an attempt to get in contact with our delivery driver and correct the directions, we searched the app for a way to get in contact and found none. We were forced to call the company line, and informed us that, DESPITE their insistence that you order through their app, that the company uses Uber and Grubhub THEMSELVES and therefore cannot contact the delivery driver either. They told us that they were re-sending the order (even taking our building name this time) and we waited for over an hour before assuming the order was lost again. We called again to get a refund and found out that they NEVER actually sent out a re-delivery. The only upside is that we got our refund, and all of the costumer service workers were very kind and helpful. I cannot recommend ordering delivery through their app at ALL. read more
