We were drawn in by the promise of unique homemade flavors, and Pinocchio's did not disappoint. We settled on the Gator Stew (vanilla based ice cream with pistachio, chunky peanut butter and Reese's PB cups), Wedding Bells (Italian almond wedding cake), and Dirty Sand Dollar (vanilla ice cream with caramel, malted milk balls, and chocolate chunks). The ice cream was very flavorful, especially Wedding Bells, which had more almond flavor than anything almond I've ever tried. The portions are also huge. We both ordered the piccolo (2 scoops) and were rewarded with leaning towers of creamy goodness -- see attached photos. The employees were friendly and the shop, including the restroom, was very clean. Lots of parking in the shopping center. Next visit, I'd love to try Pinocchio's delicious-looking ice cream sandwiches, homemade cookies, or their half milkshake-half sundae (mainly to see how that is even possible). Run don't walk to Pinocchio's!

Each time I have mentioned being disappointed no Bday cake was available, no one has mentioned this as an option, and actually tonight, I was told by one of the young ladies that in the 6months she has worked here, she has not seen Birthday cake as an option . PS- there are always lots of options/flavors (sadly nothing that compares to bday cake IMO) and the service is always great, so even though I choose not to get anything on these occasions when birthday cake is not available, my family still proceeds to get their favorites. So disappointing! We are from Indianapolis and our daughter lives in Bonita- we make it a point to come here everytime we visit (which is often)- twice now in April (the first week and this week) we have came here and no birthday cake ice cream! He used an incredibly rude tone of voice and then walked away very quickly before I could even respond. He was also out of uniform so I couldn't even see his name tag. While I was getting my dessert I noticed him being rude to his coworker (who was also out of uniform) and to other patrons. It's sad that he is how this establishment is being represented. I hope they do something about the employee attitudes so I can enjoy coming here again...

The establishment seemed very clean with some sample cups on a tray for tasting. I tried the toasted marshmallow but it was too sweet. I ended up getting my favorite -- Dulce de Leche along with pistachio and strawberry. The cashier asked if we had a loyalty number so I put in the one I used to use. I had $5 on my account so that was a nice surprise. The froyo was as yummy as I remembered and we sat outside on a beautiful Naples day to enjoy it.
