horrible cookies, basically raw cookie dough. feel sick after eating horrible. Way to much money to pay for such under cooked nightmares

I heard about the promo for anyone with a college ID to get 6 free cookies with a $5 purchase, just one day before that promo ended. Well, I wanted some free cookies. I came in and ordered the loaded brownie for $5.45. The total was $6.97, and I asked and they were like: The cookies get sales tax too. Got the receipt, and the brownie was really $6.45. So the food costs more than what it says on the menu. Also, the cookies were undercooked. Like doughy. Raw. This is definitely a late night carb place for sobering up by eating carbs. This is not a cutesy desert place for cutesy date or brunch. Nope. They have vegan cookies, which I would recommend, in case the non vegan has raw egg. Also has gluten free option, but super duper limited for that. Lots of vegan cookie options. read more

I bit into my brownie and there was a long straight hair in it...my hair is short and curly. So disgusting.

Ordered cookies thru their delivery that never came but said delivered! Upon calling the store I learned that they didn't have drivers and sent my order through door dash! My kids and her friends never received their cookies and now my $40 refund will take 5-7 business days. They couldn't even provide me a dasher name or contact! This is my go-to cookie place because it stays open so late and I usually get late night cravings. The cookies always come out warm and fresh. My personal favorites are the classic M&Ms and snickerdoodle cookies. They have a decent selection of flavors and they usually have a new flavor come out every month or so. 10/10 recommend, their cookies are so yummy!! read more

Now the stats are for the cleanliness of this location. I was very disappointed in the appearance, especially as a first timer. The only thing that kept me was the hour long drive I took. The customer service was absent to say the least, and I know what some of you might think.. it wasn't late in the midnight hour, it's was about 7pm. I won't be back to this location but I'll definitely give another location a shot because the cookies weren't half bad. read more

Most of the time they are on time and ready to service. The young man at this time 3/24/23 watched multiple people walk up to the door after 11AM and completely ignored them. He seemed to be dragging his feet and not ready to work. Not a fan of this experience. read more

These cookies are pricey, but worth it if you're trying to splurge. I usually get them to treat myself from time to time. The sugar cookie is my favorite! The delivery is always super quick and my kids love the specialty cookies too! read more

At 12:41 am on August 21st, my family and I stopped at the Insomnia Cookies on Chandler Road in Statesboro, GA after my child's High School Football game which was held on the Georgia Soithern Campus. I told the young caucasian girl working at the register that I wanted to order the BOGO Pack, that I had received an email promoting the deal. She told me I had to be a Cookie Magic Member, and would have to order the cookies through the app, she said the deal was only for members. I explained that I would become a member and she told me to follow the instructions in the email, that she couldnt magically push a button on her register. I thought her comment was snarky, but I ignored it because my kids who were with me who were tired really wanted cookies. I told her to help others in line behind me because I didnt want to hold up her line, but I told her the cookies that I wanted to order in case she sold what I wanted to people who came in after me (she told me I probably don't have what you want because its the end of the night - I was confused by her comment because I thought the store stayed open until 3am). I was able to successfully sign up for the Cookie Magic Program, but it would not let me place the order for the cookies. I asked her if she could help me, she then said to me, "what do you want me to do, I'm not an IT Technician"? I was really irritated, but determined to remain calm. I then said, "I don't think you are, but maybe as the employee, you could take my order through your register". She then repeated "that she doesn't have a magic button". I was really disgusted with her Customer Service skills, so I asked her if I could speak to the manager, and she said she was the manager. So I asked her for her name because she wasn't wearing a name badge, and she said "I don't have to give that to you". She then said, "you are getting on my nerves and you are being rude". I was completely annoyed & shocked at this point because I NEVER raised my voice at her, I spoke calmly and only asked for help to place my order. I asked her to repeat what she had just said because I honestly couldn't believe that she had said it, AND SHE REPEATED IT, WORD FOR WORD!!! She then said, "you have been holding up my line for 15 minutes, and you are getting on my nerves". At this point I pulled out my phone to record, because I knew no one would believe how she had just spoken to me. I was able to get some of the interaction recorded. If I had known when this started, that it would end the way it did, I would have definitely recorded it earlier. I don't know if she had had a bad day, especially dealing with the drunk college students who come in and out of the establishment, but as an older woman/wife/mother and very well known business leader in the Statesboro community, the way I was talked to and treated as a customer trying to patronize this establishment was unacceptable. When you work in an industry where you are providing a service or a product to the public, it is a basic concept to treat EVERYONE with respect & dignity. I am utterly disappointed in her behavior! I understand the stress that this pandemic has caused in our country and on service workers, and I know many businesses are struggling to fill shifts & hire staff. However as an Executive Manager who employs mostly college students in my business, the treatment that my family and I received in this establishment was uncalled for, I would have fired my staff on the spot if any of my customers or members were treated this way, it was THE WORST customer service that I have ever experienced in my 20 years in this community. If this behavior is allowed to continue without rectification, I will NEVER patronize this business again, and I will make it my mission to share this experience with EVERYONE I know in the local & business community and as well as via social media! read more

I am a University student who came into this establishment with the same excitement I had when I went to the one in Atlanta, I brought my 3 friends and we were so excited. Unfortunately, when I told them about my tree nut allergy they proceeded to tell me that if you have a allergy you just shouldn't eat here, because they do not separate the sheets when they are being prepared. They advertised vegan options, but with this information I assume that it is all baked together. I am disheartened by this lack of mindfulness to customers, and will not be going back. read more

Went with my son to get cookies for his girlfriend. They were delicious. The only advise I could give is for them to suggest their special to each customer, even though it is scanning across the front of their cash register, some people don't look at that. We got the 13 cookies for 13 dollars. When the guy in front of us ordered he got 6 cookies and paid 12.50. He was disappointed at what he paid for and got vs what we got and paid for. read more

The food was great, but the costumer service was terrible. My server Trevor was rude, lazy and acted as if he had better things to do. However, their strawberry cheesecake ice cream was the bomb! Unfortunately yelp doesn't offer the choice of 2.5 stars. Their cookies are good but service is terrible. I ordered delivery today for the first time because of their free 3 chocolate chunk cookies with delivery deal. I placed the order at 4pm. The site said 30-45 minutes for delivery. 30 something minutes later, my cookies came. I got everything but my free cookies. I called to ask about my cookies and the guy who answered the phone sounded like he hated his job. They didn't apologize for the mess up and only told me my cookies should be on its way. I waited and waited and nothing came. The guy who delivered my order was kind enough to call me back and asked if I had gotten my order. I had not. He said the cookies should be on their way and I should receive a call soon. And so I waited. It's now 7pm and nothing. It was clearly on the receipt too. At this point I don't even care anymore. I ordered cookies for delivery because of the deal and so that my boyfriend could try them. Now that he's tried them and I never got my full order, I won't be coming back. $12 for 6 cookies?
