On the afternoon I stopped in there was only 1 other person in the shop so our order was taken right away and made very quickly. My drink was delicious, but I often find that businesses post these great pictures to get you in and when you request said item it doesn't meet the same presentation as illustrated. I ordered what I believe was a Smores latte that had marshmallow, whipped cream and cookies on top. Well my latte didn't have any of the added toppings. I mean this is what bought me in and why I don't mind paying as much as I do because what is being advertised. It really comes off as false advertisement when you don't receive the same item being presented. And if it's a situation of the items not being available, the customer should have the option to decide if they would prefer something else instead. In this case, I was not told it wasn't available; I was just presented with the item once completed.

The baristas are nice, but I wish they had a back room with large bible study groups because no shade, they take up a lot of room and they are there for many hours; and on many occasions after work I've had to take my coffee to go because there was no where to sit.

Most restaurants laugh and don't really try to help me. However, A lad by the name of C.J. Simmons, manager of Panera Bread just went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and I really could not ask for a better person or restaurant to host my monthly meetings. The restaurant, first of all, was immaculately clean and the food even looked clean and fresh. Doth thy Don a Turtleneck to eat a clean sandwich? Why yes, M'Lady. the employees were so friendly, and C.J. even carried our food out to our table when it was ready. My only complaint is that the employees were not wearing turtlenecks! Ha! That's the turtleneck humor for you! I am donning a mustard colored turtleneck, which signifies that I am the president. Let it be known, from this day Henceforth, that Panera bread in statesboro ga has delicious clean fresh food and a clean restaurant, and will be THE location of the monthly Turtleneck society meetings. Thank you Mr. C.J.! Lastly, as we always say, Tis' a Gentleman's Neck to Don A Turtleneck.

The pastries used to be excellent, especially the oversized croissants, bear claws, and cinnamon swirls. So it had been a while, but I used their drive-thorough today to order two croissants and two bear claws. Was I ever shocked when I got home and saw what passes for a Panera croissant and pastry now. Each croissant was about 4 inches across and sliced in half, which I didn't request or want, and they looked like prepackaged soggy grocery store items. The croissants were claggy not flakey. The bear claws were about half the size they used to be and were billed as almond pastry instead. They tasted nothing like the pastries from a few years ago. Just awful, cheap tasting junk. $15.44 for four generic grocery store pastries. Never again.

It was easily situated in a plaza with several other stores and tons of parking. The food itself was just ok, it was somewhat warm and even the cheese wouldn't melt into the grits.

Didn't want the usual Waffle House, IHOP, Cracker Barrel spots that you can find anywhere so we decided to give Loc's a go. Upon walking in it was a nice amount of people which was surprising for a weekday so immediately I thought this must be really good! Well after ordering our food at 10:15am...SOME of our items came out at 11:17am! Now when I say SOME I mean an order of shrimp & grits with only the grits coming to the table...Ummm isn't it a cohesive dish? We waited and flagged our waitress who had to "check" with the kitchen. In the meantime, hubby decided to place his cold grits back under the heat lamp. The waitress ran over to assist and said she will bring the dish back so that they could remake it and add the missing shrimp. Meanwhile...my chicken and waffle dish hadn't arrived. When it finally did, it was lack luster...The chicken was under seasoned and the waffle was lukewarm if that...let's just say the special strawberry butter on top of the waffle didn't melt! SMH. Sweet waitress apologized and begged us to try again. It's because of her why they received an extra star for this review.

We promptly got sat by the lovely staff working. We sat outside, I ordered an Aperol spritz and my husband got a Bloody Mary. All of our drinks were delicious, reasonably priced. The Bloody Mary wasn't spicy (although a table next to us was complaining it was...), and the Hugo spritz was SO refreshing! They for the fresh mint from their herbs out front! Only complaint was we prefer our espresso martinis to be mostly espresso heavy, and this one was more cream heavy. We ordered the Brussels, country breakfast (subbed cheese grits instead of pancakes because we're gluten free) and got a side of fresh fruit. It was so much food. We didn't finish it all! The grits were nicely seasoned and cheesy. Brussels were super crispy and not drenched in grease or sauce. Eggs were nice and salty, potatoes were fried nicely. Everything was great. We would love to come back for lunch or dinner - especially happy hour. It wasn't too loud and we felt there was plenty of seating.
