The guy that served me was impatient and acted like he had more important things to do than serve customers. Based on his attitude, this place is not into serving customers. Love Insomnia cookies and took a friend who was visiting the area to this location. The cookies were good as always, the staff friendly, the location clean, and always inviting. My favorites are the chocolate chip, the chocolate chunk, the mint chocolate, the macadamia nut, and the peanut butter chunk. All are shareable, stay well and do well to reheat in the oven or microwave. You'll pay a premium for the cookies, but they're worth it. Late night service is a plus if you're out late at bars or enjoying other activities. The only critique is that there are some specials I would've taken advantage of, had I been aware. Awesome late night sweet treats if a slice of pizza isn't for you. The cookies are tasty but not stop in your tracks good and I was pretty disappointed in how the ice cream tasted (lacking sweetness/flavor) I think if you're not going to get a big old warm box of a dozen or so cookies, it's better to check out the other frozen dessert options in town. That being said, the idea of a late night warm cookie is still such a treat. Good spot for kids I think. read more

The staff always messes up the orders specially when it's ordered to go - prepare to get the wrong cookies all the time. Not very impressed for a store that charges $1.70/cookie. I placed an order for pick up and ordered 4 cookies (from favorite to least favorite): Double Chocolate Chunk, Double Chocolate Mint, Chocolate Chunk, and Classic with M&M's. I also shared these cookies with a friend and we both agreed that the Double Chocolate Chunk was the best, and the Double Chocolate Mint was good as well. The Chocolate Chunk my friend said taste the same as the chocolate chip cookies from McDonald's - ouch! And the M&M's cookie had a weird taste not synonymous with a chocolate chip cookie or an M&M's cookie - more like marshmallow or something unrelated. Although the tastes were off, all of the cookies were warm, soft, and gooey. I would give this company 2 stars because I believe their cookies are overpriced as they are not out-of-this-world-amazing, but I added a star because the cookies were good and finding parking was fairly easy. I probably will not be coming back because it was a 30min drive, and it makes more sense to just buy cookies from McDonald's since the taste factor is similar and the cost is cheaper. read more

We received a delivery about an hour ago; friends ordered us a box of cookies as a pick me up due to a recent death in the family. The cookies were still warm!!! There are a variety of flavors; we so far have only tried the chocolate chip and they are AMAZING! Also, the delivery guy was super considerate-he had a mask on, put the box on top of what must have been a mini insulated heated "cooler", rang the doorbell, then stepped 6 feet back and let me know to just take the top box. I've ordered from this location for both pick up and delivery now and everything has been great! I'm part of the CookieMagic program so I try to get here as much as possible (or the location near home). Both times I've ordered delivery to the office, the delivery was right on time, and the driver (same both times) was quick and friendly. We ordered a 50 pack for the office once and in order to get it earlier in the day we had to do pick up, which was okay, but when I arrived the full order wasn't ready yet and was still being packaged. That said, there were two employees working and one was the delivery driver I had before. These two guys seemed overworked and I heard someone call out on them when I was waiting. The employee packing up offered me a free cookie for the wait - I declined as I felt bad that he was alone and could tell he was doing the best he could, given the circumstances. So frustrating. I ordered 2 days in advance for a cookie delivery to my nephew for Valentine's Day. They were set to be delivered at approximately 3:45pm. They did not arrive. They finally sent me a text at 4:30 pm saying they were on their way, prior to this I received nothing saying they were running behind. I've been tracking them and the delivery time keeps getting pushed back. It's now set for 6pm. They live ten minutes from the shop. I over paid and now the cookies will just sit out in the cold weather because the timing is off and they won't be home to receive them. I understand things are tough with the snow but there was no point all day where they realized they would be running two hours behind and could have touched base with me? So frustrating. And they didn't even offer for me to cancel them or get a refund. I emailed a complaint and heard nothing and I've been on the phone trying to get through to someone for 25 minutes. I am not happy with the service at all. Such a bummer. Update. Three and a half hours later they just cancelled my order for no reason. I can't get through to anyone. I placed a birthday cake order for my wife 10 days in advance for the red velvet cookie cake and they waited until THE DAY of her birthday to tell me they didn't have it anymore! I LOVE Insomnia Cookies so maybe I'm biased. I've been to the one in Philadelphia so I had to go here. The staff was very nice and pleasant. If you go, you are paying a lot more than Giant's bakery. Sure you are paying somewhat for the novelty aspect but their cookies really are that good in my opinion. I ordered a S'mores cookiewhiche with vanilla ice cream. We stopped in today during restaurant fest, 9.15.2019, around 12:30pm. The girl working was the worst employee I've seen in quite some time at a counter, coffee shop, deli or restaurant. We stopped in and there were two employees upfront... a guy eating lunch and this girl. She was awful. No hello, no can I help you, no thank you... just stood there with no smile. We placed our order and as she just stood there, placed our money on the counter. We got his lecture about disrespecting her...really? After she said that, I just stared at her ungloved hand was handling my cookies. Sadly, she lost business for them as we went in to ship cookies back to Chicago. I typically don't write reviews on places but I just had to for Insomnia cookie in WC. My experience was less enjoyable on top of the fact that I was given the wrong cookies and some were even burnt. I went over the weekend during the day while they were empty and two girls working the counter were uninviting and uninterested while taking my order. Like I said they messed up two of the six cookies I ordered. Another two were burnt on the bottom. Now don't get me wrong, Insomnia cookies are good cookies, but I expected much higher quality for the price and the reputation that they have. They need to get their act together and make sure that the little things are attended too. If I'm paying $2 a cookie it better be the one I ordered, not burnt and served with a smile. read more

When I looked into the refrigerator behind the counter I noticed there were no waters inside. J asked the woman at the counter if there were any more waters.
