Gina is a true artist, one of the most creative professionals I've had the pleasure of working with. We hired her for our October 2021 wedding on the recommendation of our coordinator. We told her the vague vision we had and loved the inspiration photos she sent us back. We specified what colors and general feel we wanted ("fall" but without pumpkins or maple leaves) and went back and forth a bit on the ceremony centerpiece, but beyond that we left a lot in her hands. I'm so glad we did because she got to do what she does best, which is create incredible floral art. I think Gina is also a bit magical because she did something pretty special and extraordinary with our flowers... A few weeks before the wedding she texted and asked me what jewelry I was going to wear on the big day. I sent back a picture of the earrings I planned to wear, red coral drops that my now-spouse had gotten me on a special vacation to Italy. He bought them for me in Napoli, a city that is very dear to my heart, and I chose them because they remind me of the "cornicello" a Neapolitan good-luck symbol that looks a bit like a red chili pepper. I didn't tell Gina any of that -- but on our wedding day she had red chili peppers scattered throughout our floral arrangements, including in bouquet. It absolutely blew me away! It felt like I was surrounded by little bursts of good luck everywhere I looked that day, and just meant the world to me. It also struck me as incredibly creative -- I'd never thought about including peppers in floral arrangements, and so many guests asked us about them. Finally, not only is Gina deeply creative but she's also a true professional. We had to move our entire ceremony from a redwood forest to our indoor reception venue on short notice due to rain. Gina pivoted on a dime without complaint, and really busted her butt to bring inside the forest feel we'd spent a year dreaming about. Furthermore, she and her team, with the help of our caterer and coordinator, flipped the ceremony space from an altar, aisle, and chairs, to a sit-down dinner for 140 in about 90 minutes. It took my breath away to see how she transformed the space and to experience how different it felt, and it was not lost on us how incredibly hard she and her team worked on our wedding day. And in one final very thoughtful surprise, she had purchased beautiful wooden cutouts of our and our wedding party's names for our plates at the head table. We had no idea she'd done that and were so touched by the gesture. To top it off, Gina was incredibly easy to work with, start to finish. She was a clear communicator, had easy online booking and payment, and was willing to work with our firm budget. I can also vouch for her special occasion arrangements; I hired her to send a bouquet to a friend for her birthday, and the arrangement was gorgeous. I'll be coming back to her for all my flower needs, whether everyday or special occasion, from here on out, and recommend her to everyone! read more

My husband and I hired Gina for Day of Coordinator and met her 4 weeks before the wedding. During our first face to face encounter, Gina was unprofessional and rude to the event's coordinator for our venue. Apparently, earlier that day, she had a 'bad' phone conversation with the event's coordinator that made her react the way she did. I left the meeting alarmed about whom we had hired. Shortly after, I emailed Gina regarding the incident; she apologized for her behavior and said 90% of the time she does not lose her temper. Gina focused way too much on the timeline with very little attention to detail. She sent several 'final timelines' that had inaccurate information. At first, she sent the timeline to all the vendors without going over it with my husband or me. This created a lot of confusion. Two weeks before the wedding, two of my vendors refused to work with Gina. During the mishap, I had to intervene as Gina was passing info to the vendors that created a bit of animosity within my vendors. I explained the miscommunication incident caused by Gina and the three vendors worked great with each other after. Throughout the last three weeks, I asked Gina to communicate any changes/info to me before passing it to the vendors, as I noticed a lot of miscommunication between Gina and most of the vendors. The last week prior to the wedding, Gina was extremely rude and my husband had to intercede a few times and explain to her that she was coming off a bit rude via email. She was upset that I was taking her timeline apart and told my husband that I needed to change my attitude so that everything could flow smoothly... However, her very last 'final' timeline, 3 days before the wedding, had me (bride) getting picked up by "Uber" and dropped off by "limo"... Her response was always, "the timeline can be modified..." Though, little details can confuse people, especially if she is providing the backbone for the vendors. Overall, the wedding day was fantastic thanks to my amazing vendors; however, the planning process was more hectic than it should have been.  On a positive note, Gina is very responsive to emails! read more

Gina and her team were a wonderful addition to our wedding vendor allstar line-up! Gina met with us several times leading up to the wedding to make sure all details were being covered and we were all on the same page for the feel of the day. She even came with me for a venue site visit 2.5 hours away and also helped coordinate our engagement photos! Her help was most appreciated in the month before the wedding- she made sure that all of our contracts and paperwork were in line for our vendors (the LAST thing a bride wants to be doing during her pre-wedding prep) which made me feel like we were as prepared as possible for the big day. On the actual wedding weekend, Gina facilitated the rehearsal and prepared timelines for all parties for the next day. On the day of, Gina and her assistant worked nonstop until every last detail I had envisioned was set up for the wedding and then taken down and stored after the fact. She handled every snafu (because there are bound to be some, trust me) with grace and I didn't even hear about them until I asked her at the end of the night. My husband and I weren't sure we needed a wedding coordinator, and in retrospect, we don't think we could have done it sanely without one! We really tried to pick vendors who "got" us and made us feel like they were genuinely excited to be part of our big day, and the Inspiration by Gina team was no exception.
