Overall was a great experience working with Laura. She was always incredibly responsive and willing to help out. When I wanted lanterns hung on my venue and the lighting team was being unresponsive, she was quick to offer solutions. I wouldn't say I was on a strict budget when it came to my flowers but some of the quotes I got from other florists were just crazy even when I gave them a certain amount to stay within. Laura worked well to stay in my range by: reusing ceremony flowers for the reception and choosing specific flowers for the arrangement. When we met up, Laura carefully went through flowers so that I could handpick each one that would go into my bouquets and arrangements. She also honestly would let me know which one would be in season, which one was cheaper so that I could stay in budget. When it came to my centerpiece she actually suggested that I reuse the bridesmaids bouquets as a means to save money which I thought was brilliant! She could have easily let me buy a sweetheart piece but I was able to save at least a couple hundred this way. And just to set the record straight, I was the bride at City Hall last December. In our conversations, I had requested a nice full bouquet of roses - a bouquet which I lovingly picked from a Martha Stewart Wedding magazine, scanned and sent to you. You said you could do it. What I got on the wedding day was a bouquet of flowers that were nearly dying with some puke moss intertwined and these friggin berry branches jutting out of it. WTF was that??? If it wasn't for my bridesmaids who convinced me to break the friggin branches off the bouquet, I probably would have poked some poor guest's eyes out while giving them a hug! Honestly, I tried to let it go, but after looking at my photos and seeing those nasty flowers I had to yelp.... I do appreciate the fact that Laura works with a client's budget, but dude - if my budget was to afford me TURD like what I got, then just tell me the truth so I can pay more.
