Horrible! No one is ever there to answer the phone, have gone in plenty of times with no one at the desk either. Took me months after signing my daughter up to see a person to finally ask any questions to. Then come recital time her costume is given to her with strings hanging with sequins falling off and a hole in the sleeve. On top of the fact that she could barley move as the sleeves were digging into her arm. And she was not the only child who's costume was given to them this way. Then after waiting a week for a new one I was appalled when she put it on!!! It looked like a cat attacked the whole bottom! Strings hanging all over down her leg! Parts looked like they were ripped off. I couldn't believe they sent her this and for $150! The woman at the desk told me they'd have yet another one sent to me overnight (meanwhile her friends were still waiting for theirs from 2-3 weeks ago) I was unable to pick up the 3rd one they had overnighted the next day. So I asked if it was okay to go the following day. Showed up at 4:15 to doors locked and lights off! Business hours are from 10-7 according to online and the woman I spoke to the night before around 7:30 said nothing about them being closed the next day. She said I could come in to get it. Oh and then come to find out I was charged for both may and June. Not only have I never payed a month in advance but my daughters last class is in may! Her recital is June 5th. the only time she will be back is for awards in June. According to the owner (the one and only time I saw her because someone else told me she was there so I could rush up there to finally speak to her in person) it's a yearly tuition, which I maybe would have been more understanding about however i payed for my daughter to take a certain amount of classes which she did not receive because the studio was closed for holidays. and NO ONE ever said she was aloud to go in another day to make it up. So after a bunch of back and forth with the owner she refunded me for June BUT said because of that my daughters not allowed to go to awards night!! So I payed for a bunch of classes she didnt get because of them being closed and NO communication about make ups and now after all this time she's committed to cheer she will be excluded from awards (1 day!!!) because the OWNER won't allow her to go unless I pay an entire months payment.This place is a disgrace I can now understand why the other locations were closed down. We definitely will not be returning and our friends said they're pulling their girls out as well and finding a new place. So disappointed!! read more

My daughter has been dancing for this studio since she was three years old. In that time span (she is now 7), she has gone from one class, to multiple classes, to regional to a national team. She has worked her little butt off all year, countless hours at practices, at competitions, her team became her family. She spends more time with those kids than anyone else. A couple weeks ago I had explained to Joanne about the concerns she had been dealing with this year. She was only put in four dances while most were put in 5 and some in 6. She didn't understand what made her any different than the other girls. She noticed their behavior in class and at competitions and when even after we were told that no minis would be in any productions, last minute four of them were added. She didn't want to admit it but she was very upset, and while some parents were even upset by this, I didn't think anything of it until Adelynne asked me herself why she wasn't put in the Greatest, what made them so much better than her. Nothing baby, that's just what was decided for a "little cameo". A little cameo that was pranced in front of those less fortunate at every performance. Not less skilled by any means just not more noticed. It stopped being as exciting for her and became a let down. We had contemplated taking adelynne off the team after nationals was over. I always tried to teach her that once you're committed to something you stick through it until the end, then you make your decision. I was told another parent was contemplating this same issue and that there would be no refund if we did chose to pay for the summer bootcamp so to be absolutely sure if the team was what she wanted. We continued to go to practice and half way through the practice day on Saturday a blast goes out on the team app (on social media!) calling out the parent of Adelynne DelVecchio (that's me). Mind you, I had received a call from the studio (not Christine) on Friday while I was working at 1:18 pm and called back as soon as I heard the voicemail at 5:14 pm, no answer. I was at the studio on Friday to pick her up from practice at 6:15 and no one was at the desk, nor was christine there. Then the post happened on Saturday at 2:37 pm while she was at practice claiming they had called two days ago and I was "unreachable". I called that studio twice after that (2:38 pm and 2:40 pm) with no response, and was unable to comment on the post- it was disabled. So I then emailed Christine directly as no one is allowed to have her phone number (or give it out) at 3:09 pm asking for her to give me a call when she has time. By Sunday morning I was deleted from the team app and from the rooster, I was unable to sign onto jackrabbit as that was disabled also. But still, no phone call back. By Monday Adelynne's father was able to get a hold of someone at the studio who defended this behavior but took his message to have Christine call him back. He demanded that she at least be able to finish out the year that we had already paid for and the nationals which we had also already paid for. The studio then called back only to tell him it was the same woman and that she refused to reach out to us herself and that Adelynne had already been removed from the rooster. The one competition they have been psyching them up for for the whole year I now have to tell my child she is again not allowed to be a part of. I still haven't been able to tell her. Regardless of her disappointment with this year she earned her spot on stage for nationals just like every other mini has even if it was the only time she got to go. She loves the competitions and being on stage, she doesn't like the rejection but what child does? What kind of person decides to take that away when it is already paid for? They're at the studio tonight having a pep rally for their "IPAC family" because nationals is days away but what kind of team celebrates without all their members?
