When my mother died at home at around 1:00 a.m., she came to the house to pronounce her death and assisted with calling the cremation society to have my mother taken to the mortuary. She told us what to expect and was sensitive to my father's feelings about seeing his wife of 71 years leave their home. She was with us throughout this process until 4:00 a.m. in the morning. The caregivers inpatient were overall amazing. Its the promises they made to entice you to bring your loved one there..... and then fail and fail again that you need to know about. Hospice is pretty much no care other than cleaning. What we really thought we would get was professional counseling. We were promised counseling for our mother who was losing her husband of 70+ years, for their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.... Nothing like we were promised. We were told after he passed they would reach out and support us and her the next week and never heard from them. I called and asked... no call back. I called again... finally someone said they thought we lived on the opposite side of town ????? They even made an appt with our mother before christmas, having me leave work to be there and then stood her up. So, remember all the bells and whistles arent going to be there. The staff at the facility was great... just the sales pitch and delivery was way apart. Still waiting for them to fulfill their promises but, they got their money and moved on. I was offended when i received a solicitation not once but twice to donate money to their foundation.... the literature even mentioning how they offer bereavement support. They offer but they just dont deliver.

We had a beautiful experience with Seasons. Mom was under their care for a month and a half while…read moreliving in our home. They went out of their way to make sure she always had her medications to keep her comfortable - including one time when a nurse drove back and forth to obtain a signature from a doctor for a new script. She wanted my Mom to be comfortable over the weekend and was determined to make sure she had it as soon as possible. The delivery driver, Micheal, always called before he delivered equipment and was extremely kind with Mom. Our nurse, Asiyah, was a dream. My Mom had the utmost respect for her because she was so compassionate as well as a great listener. I adored her because she was readily available by text, called me often, listened, and genuinely loved Mom. Mom had visits from sweet Caroline - who referred to Mom as Mama as she tenderly helped her shower, or give her foot rubs, or even just watch Judge shows. The music therapist, Anna, was such a calming presence. She has the voice of an angel and has a repertoire of songs to pull from - she even sung some songs in Spanish to Mom. Everyone we met was so kind and patient - the chaplain, other nurses, social workers... and were all available via text - it felt so personal. Even after Mom died, the texts and phone calls kept coming in to check on me, offer grief support for the children, and to share their love of Mom. My only feedback would be to work on the response time with the toll-free number - it could be more efficient. However, I am so grateful that everyone gave us their cell numbers and were available via text or call when I needed them. I highly recommend Seasons.

Physical Therapy was attentive and the centerpiece of facility. I would especially like to commend Antonio and Danielle for making hard effort pleasant. Typically understaffed in nursing, especially at night and weekends. But the staff that was there was almost universally excellent. I would especially commend Nurse Cassie for service above and beyond. They have social activities that appear to bolster morale and socialization. Although I did not participate in them for my own reasons. They had daily activities and they posted calendars in the rooms listing them. The meals? I do not eat. So I cannot really review them. Except to say they smelled delicious.

A little more in depth about my experience: When I first connected with Tina, I was overwhelmed and distraught having just learned a prior caregiver had stolen and taken advantage of a dear friend of mine. My elderly friend didn't have family or many friends so I was really her only "person" and I had no experience in navigating this world. Lucky for my friend and myself, Tina held my hand through the difficult situation. She immediately helped me get caregivers set up. My friend suffers from the beginning stages of dementia and is, for the most part, bedridden. So she needed 24/7 care. The caregivers immediately provided companionship for my friend. They were all very kind, communicative with me, dependable, and my friend bonded with each one. Their presence allowed me to take care of a lot of moving pieces so I could protect and ensure she no longer be taken advantage of. I don't envy anyone in the situation of having to find home care for a loved one. It's daunting, overwhelming and you don't know who you can trust. Tina was always straight up with me, extremely communicative, caring, passionate and honest. I didn't make it easy on her and she never complained. Since I was pretty much alone, I leaned on her a lot and I will ALWAYS appreciate the kindness and empathy she and her team showed me. Eventually I was able to move my friend into an assisted living home, and she's been very happy with her new digs. Tina provided contacts to me to help navigate that move, because again...it's all so overwhelming! Her caregivers continued to stay with my friend during the transition, which helped me out so much. From the beginning, I listened to Tina every step of the way. She provided excellent guidance and has a ton of experience.

When she let them know , The owners husband said don't call us if you need help again. We won't serve you again since you hired private help. My elderly mother was completely flabbergasted. How incredibly uncaring and completely rude. Needless to say we will call another home care agency in future. That is not how you treat a client.
