When: October 2021 Duration: 1 Week Positives: Chico was our point of contact from start to finish. He came recommended, from Nathan, of Surfaces NW flooring company. Chico was quick to respond and provided us a quote within 1 day. After waiting for two additional quotes, from other Painting Contractors, my wife and I decided to go with Double Diamond Painting because of the value competitive quote and genuine professionalism of Chico. The Painting project started on time as promised and they completed the job 1-day ahead of schedule. Negatives: The only negatives that my wife & I have, though minor, was the attention to the finishing up details. Items such as putting back the correct electrical plates back on wall, wrong door knobs on the wrong door and leaving cigarette butts on the ground in our back yard and front garage. These minor details is what prevented me from giving Double Diamond a five-star rating for this painting project. Overall: All in all, my wife and I are very satisfied on how this Interior painting project turned out, especially the color scheme. There was some "minor bumps" that occurred, but Chico was responsive and corrected any issues immediately. We would recommend Double Diamond Painting and use them again for our future Painting project needs.

Wow!! I am a…read moreperfectionist and very picky. I care about the little details. And I can tell you that the guys and crews at Apex Paint and Remodel really knocked it out of the park! I straight up photoshopped my house colors on and they helped me achieve my vision. From the consultation - Evan and Travis gave me a lot of their time, answered all my questions, and didn't make me feel rushed. I felt super heard and like they were there to help me understand! I chose a paint and remodel company because I have a 1930s craftsman home and wanted its beauty and character preserved and enhanced - I knew a regular paint company wouldn't accomplish that. Then came the actual painting. I think I had them try like 10 different swatches and I changed my mind half a dozen times up until the last minute. The crews (led by Jeromy, Richard, and Jason) were all incredibly patient, warm, and friendly. Even when I panicked over my bold choices halfway through the painting, they were calm and easygoing (while still doing diligent and quality work). The guys on the crews were painters and carpenters capable of repairs and rebuilding my wooden porch railing. I will honestly miss seeing the guys around because everyone was so nice! It feels like I have a brand new house and I am so in love! The neighbors have been oohing and aahing as well. Day before yesterday I watched through my security cameras, as a gentleman from Eagle Eye Painting…read morein Salem, Oregon, worked to prepare my neighbor's house for painting. I observed him to do very thorough, careful, good work as he caulked and masked the house for spraying. I also happened to be outside getting the phone number from his trailer at the same time as he was taking a brief break, engaging in friendly conversation with my highly opinionated neighbor (whom most people find to be quite unpleasant). Even while dealing with this obstinate, difficult-to-please personality, I overheard the painter to be a very pleasant, affable sort of a guy, happy to answer questions and casually "shoot the breeze" about various health issues with his customer. The painter carefully parked his trailer off the street, on his customer's property, where it would not offend anyone. He also parked his truck on the curb, where it would not bother anyone. After this opportunity to see his work ethic, good materials and tools, respectful treatment of his customer's property, and pleasant way he interacted with my neighbor, I will be hiring this painter to repair and paint my house in the near future. Update: Today I watched 2 gentlemen from Eagle Eye Painting (Dan and a skilled assistant) arrive early to spray my neighbor's house, after spending several days preparing the house for new paint - deep cleaning it with a pressure washer, thoroughly caulking all the cracks, and carefully masking attachments to the house. They even masked a small part of the roof. Dan is a professional spray painter. See photos. The other gentleman is also very experienced. Together they transformed the house from its drab, badly faded condition, into a brand new house. The transformation was remarkable. I believe they painted the side nearest my house first as a courtesy to me, because my house is closest to the project. They painted that wall nearest me first, while there was no wind to carry paint onto my house or car. These gentlemen are both very courteous, hard working people. I don't know the cost of such a beautiful paint job, but I'm sure my neighbor got his money's worth - and I benefitted from this contractor's considerate, respectful attitude. As an entirely neutral observer, who has had no prior contact or association with Eagle Eye Painting, my objective opinion of this company is that there probably are no better painting companies. These guys even used the leftover paint to spray and roll my neighbor's generator box! Highly recommended! FIVE STARS totally earned, and well deserved!!!

CONSUMER BEWARE! Rob Kener/A Affordable Painting license CCB#199990 produces unprofessional,…read moresloppy, and unattractive results. He also hires unlicensed subcontractors which is against the law. My experiences with Rob are as follows. The agreement was to do 2 coats of paint. He applied both with his sprayer. The results were hideous. Cracked and rough. I told him the finish should be smooth and creamy. He charged me $700 more to apply a third coat with the roller. He should have applied the second coat with a roller. Then he did the trim. He only painted the top of the trim and not the sides. Some of the sides of the trim were slopped with the trim paint. A mess! I realized then Rob was completely unprofessional. He left me with an unfinished paint job. I said nothing because any good painter knows this would be unacceptable. He may have asked for more money just to finish the trim. It's what he did with the body of the house. I will have to finish the trim myself. As far as his unlicensed employees, it gets much worse. Tony Reybol is his illegal worker. Rob had recommended him to rebuild my deck. My husband liked Tony so we paid him $1,400 for materials and $600 for a down on his labor. He took the cash and I asked him for a receipt. He said he would send me one to my email. I should have grabbed my money back right there and then. He instead sent me a Home Depot cart full of items, but without any proof of purchase. He failed to start on the agreed start date, but said he would be over with the materials the next day and get ready to start the day after. He instead came over without any materials and staged a fake fall on my property. I did not see this fall. He claimed he hit his knee on a sharp rock. There was no blood, marks or scratches on his knee. He put on a really crazy act of being in pain. Later I get a text from him saying the ER doctor was taking him off work for 2 to 3 weeks. In that same text he asks me to put $89 under my doormat..?? He had already been paid per the agreement. At this point I looked up his background and found his business "Bing Bing Solutions" was permanently closed and he had no license. I found 2 reviews on Google Reviews that claimed he had taken their money and used injuries as an excuse to not work. On a hunch 2 days later I called Rob the painter and found that Tony was at his house working. I asked Rob if he was injured. Rob said no. Got Tony on the phone and asked him to return my money. He said he would the next morning. He never showed up. Tried to reach him but he ghosted me. Finally got a deranged text from him saying he wished return my materials (there were none) and keep the $600 for his labor. He didn't do any labor. He also claimed he had sent me emails to keep me posted. There were none sent. I told him he had 24 hours to return my money to me. He has not returned my money or made any attempt to contact me. This is a full blown con-artist theft. Please readers take notice. I am posting this in the hopes that others will be spared from the nightmare I have been through with Rob Kener and his illegal worker. This is far from over for me. As can be imagined, I will have to file complaints and police reports, as well as finish painting the trim on my house. Please be more careful than I was. Hire another painter. M. Lipps
