First, the center's facilities are really nice, tastefully decorated and peaceful. Second, the check in process is swift and fairly painless, though I swear I fill out the same paperwork every time I come in, but it doesn't take long. Third, I don't spend a lot of time in the waiting room. Shortly after I sign in, I get called back, which is great. I don't appreciate doctors that keep patients sitting around. Everyone's time is important. Fourth, they validate parking in the attached parking garage, which is important for a doctors office in the city with no real street or lot parking. Most importantly, I like the staff. These kinds of appointments are not fun, but the staff makes them bearable. I feel they really listen to my concerns and make a most uncomfortable exam tolerable. They make it easy to share intimate details that I usually don't tell anyone. Glad I found this place and I'll keep coming as long as I have this insurance!

Then, they "couldn't run my insurance" after already making me wait for 35 minutes - absolutely bs as I'd just seen my primary last week and work in a medical office myself. Last time I choose a provider because they share an EMR with my primary care.

Conveniently located across the hall from the orthopedic surgeons so you can have one stop shopping if you need to see both your doctor and the therapist on the same day.

Finally, on my 4th therapy session, Tiffany told me that I have a $0 co-payment since I've met my insurance deductible. I made the mistake of trusting Tiffany's word and continued my sessions feeling relieved that I had no copayment which was crucial for me since as a student, I don't have a substantial source of income. Before my 12th therapy session at this practice, I received a bill for $200 for five of my sessions; I abruptly stopped my therapy sessions then. I talked to the facility manager, Mike, who told me that he would find out more details. He never followed up even after I emailed and called him multiple times. Finally, after multiple calls and emails, I was able to get a hold of him. He stated that he had talked to Tiffany and that she had told me that I had a $40 per session co-payment (that is a total of $440 that I had to pay out of pocket). He told me he would email me additional billing support, which he never did. Despite continuously being in pain, I had to stop going to this practice because I do not trust the incompetent management and lack of professionalism at this facility. I'm very unhappy with the way I was treated as a patient and never recommend anyone to go to this practice.

I was discharged today with excellent mobility and a 0 out of 10 level of pain. Without Nina's expertise, my options were ongoing medication and a possible shoulder replacement. I am a senior and beyond grateful to be able to live comfortably and independently for the forseeable future. The entire staff at the Roland Park location is accommodating and very caring. If you are in need of treatment, Physical Therapy First should be at the top of your list.

I moved so the last place I went wasn't convenient anymore. Picked this one because it's the closest to my home. Came in for my initial consultation. The chiropractor was very thorough in going over everything with me to develop a proper treatment plan. I had x-rays done and it showed I had a curve to my spine. Just did my first treatment. So far no change but I will be coming several days a week. I am hopeful and will give another review later. I was told it could take 8-12 visits to get back to normal.
