She has girl-next-door charm and a sweet bedside manner, but will give you straight answers and is tough if she needs to be. She also spends quality time with you during the appointment, making sure your questions are answered and everything is explained in detail, never making it feel rushed. The new office is very clean and modern and the nurses are all friendly and welcoming. Thankfully, I've been in good health (except for a few issues during pregnancy), so I've never been anxious or worried about visiting her office. It's a calm atmosphere and I always love seeing her!

I thought she would say that we would check it again in a week but she didn't. She told me to come back 2 days later and sure enough it was higher. She immediately sent me to the hospital, and I was induced due to pre-eclampsia. I don't know if all obgyns would've done that, but my husband and I brag about that to anyone who will listen because we feel like she helped us avoid some major complications. Was it her education and knowledge? Probably. But we got the feeling it was also instinct, which can't be taught. Since she no longer does OB, I'm glad I'm done with babies, but even as a gyn she is absolutely amazing. Her bedside manner is warm and friendly. She takes her patients concerns seriously and never makes you feel dumb or ashamed (I get weight shamed by almost every doctor but not her). The other staff in her office are always pleasant and never seem bothered. I trust her so much that I run everything by her that any of my other doctors do because I want her opinion. I wish she could be my PCP!

After that, they told me I'd need to come back three months later for an actual exam. I understand that clinics can have their own processes, but it felt like a total waste of time and money. If the appointment wasn't going to include any kind of exam or assessment, that should have been made clear upfront. I walked out with no answers, no care, and now a long wait for the appointment I actually needed. Very disappointing, and I won't be returning.

I'm currently on hold to the clinic and it's a 12 min hold time, after spending 5 min just to get through all the prompts. I also know it will probably be at least 3 weeks before I can even be seen. If I hadn't already started care with this clinic, I would probably switch. And I'm still tempted too, but I'm pregnant and really don't want to deal with getting another referral and waiting even longer.

I was my own advocate telling her and her office that I was extremely anemic, as well as had a polyp in my uterus that needed to be removed. This I had discovered by seeing another physician whom I was considering to have the fibroids removed laparoscopically. I decided to stick with Dr Halderman, because she could perform the surgery before my insurance lapsed. After my surgery I asked the Dr if the polyp was removed, because I didn't see it on the pathology report. She said that there wasn't anything there! After going in for my post op follow up, they discovered they the polyp was in fact there. What kind of place is this? How can they perform any type of procedure without seeing the state of things prior to surgery. They never documented it. They also denied that I ever conveyed this to them and went ahead with my surgery. Fibroids that were there were removed, but not the polyp. Now they want to perform another procedure to remove it. The costs involved now falls on my shoulders! I should have known better when they called me the day before my surgery to go in for a blood transfusion for my anemia. They spend minutes with you to push you onto another doctor and do not respond timely to questions. Nurses admittedly state they are short-staffed when they call you back usually with the wrong information. I strongly suggest considering other options in the Frisco area. I got so many weird things like SUA, SPD and many other complications. If you think you can do this alone and you are ok with this then this is a good option.
