Dr. Lori Halderman is amazing--she delivered my sweet baby boy, who is now 3, and made that entire experience feel so safe, special, and supported. From appointments to phone calls and everything in between, this office consistently goes above and beyond. You are never treated like just another patient--they truly care. I especially want to take a moment to recognize their triage nurse, Cheresse. Over the past year, I experienced three heartbreaking losses, and I can honestly say I would not have made it through the hardest time in my life without her. Just relocated from Maryland and I am so glad I was able to get in with this practice!! They were recommended to me by a few women in my group and turned out to be everything they said and then some! I waited 6 months for my appointment but I'm so glad I did. I also had hesitation after reading all the negative yelp reviews and almost cancelled. My experience was awesome from start to finish. I was greeted as soon as I entered the office. It's a stunningly beautiful office space with lots of cozy places to sit! I was called back fairly quickly and, Victoria my CMA made me feel welcomed right away. She was informative, friendly and provided great instructions. Waited a few years searching for the best OB for me and Dr. McCloud exceeded my expectations. She was kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and relatable. I love my Dr here but they are not adequately staffed. I waited on the phone for 30 minutes to get a PT referral transferred to a different office and there was no way to leave a message. There is a message that says to press 0 to leave a message but it didn't go to VM when I did that. I had to call back and choose a different option that I wasn't sure was the correct option but it took me immediately to VM. Next the VM message states that I will get a call back in 48 hours. That is not acceptable. You know an office is not the one for you when you can't get in touch with anyone at the front office immediately or even the same day. read more

I have waited to post this review. This office does not care for women who are not of child bearing age. I ended up in the Emergency Room in Critical Care and with DVT due to the lack of care and negligence from the provider here. The experience here has left me nervous to ever see an Obgyn again and the original medical issue was never resolved. As a currently pregnant patient, there is no world where I would choose this provider again. I used them from 2016-2019 and remembered great care, so when I came back to the area I began using them for well woman check ups. Going to the same OBGYN for pregnancy seemed like a good idea. But no one picks up the phone. Did you need a referral? No one sent it to the recommended provider. Did you want a heads up before needing a glucose test? That's unfortunate. Should the practice tell you before your midwife is too busy to schedule with you (ever) and then goes to part time? You would think, but they won't. Did you get slammed with a $750 bill on a Saturday morning you didn't expect? That's because the business office didn't explain it to you or why they do it at your last appointment. This office is a case study in how to alienate patients through a toxic combination of poor communication, inefficiency, and unearned condescension. At no point was I informed of a strict 10-minute grace period, nor did I receive the courtesy of a reminder call or even a check-in at the time of my appointment. Reaching someone by phone to notify them of a slight delay? Impossible -- their lines may as well not exist. I arrived a mere four minutes past my appointment time and was told to wait. The receptionist then proceeded to assist two patients who arrived after me, followed by a casual conversation with a coworker -- all before even acknowledging me again. Then, with a passive-aggressive smile, I was told I was "too late" and would need to reschedule. Ironically, had I been seen on time, I would still have been in the waiting room. The dismissiveness, the faux-politeness, and the complete lack of empathy -- especially in a medical practice ostensibly centered on women's health -- is appalling. If you're seeking care from professionals who value your time and treat patients with respect, look elsewhere. You deserve better than this. read more

This practice is entirely too large! If you aren't of childbearing age, they want nothing to do with you. The nurse spoke to me in third person asking the following questions : -Are we on any new medicines? -Are our tubes still tied? -Why are we here today? She then said, "We need to undress and get on the table." I was nothing but a number to her and to the nurse practitioner. If you want to see a doctor, you have to wait months (14 months). I was on hold 35 minutes to schedule an appointment. It took 3 weeks for the results of my blood work to be posted. What once was a good practice, has become nothing but one disorganized and impersonal cattle call. read more

Dr. Halderman has been an absolute Godsend during both of my pregnancies. I was originally referred to this practice by my sister-in-law, who also had an amazing experience with Halderman. I have terrible anxiety and Dr. Halderman is not only one of the first doctors to make me feel at ease, but one of the few people in general who can calm my nerves. Her confident and assuring demeanor has meant the world to me. She has gone above and beyond to address any and all questions/concerns I've had throughout both pregnancies. She's displayed true interest in my family and our well being since day one. I have health related post delivery complications and Dr. Halderman has quite literally saved my life. My husband and I had complete confidence in my safety when faced with these complications because Dr. Halderman was on top of it! I now have two beautiful babies that Dr. Halderman helped bring safely into this world. Please don't listen to the one-star reviews that say, "My appointment was TEN MINUTES ago and I'm STILL waiting " or "Wow I can't believe the receptionist was rude to me after I cursed at her." Seriously, I bet these people would gripe about the architecture of the building not being their favorite style. I'm 23, I've only ever had a (male) Primary Care Physician. After a specific health issue came up, I decided to see an OBGYN for the first time. I called the receptionist and she literally got me an appointment at 9:30 am the next morning, even though I'm a new patient. I was terrified to go to an OBGYN for the first time. First of all, the building isn't a stereotypical sterile doctor's office you'd think of; it feels more like a fancy spa! It's really comforting. Most importantly, my nurse practitioner - the one who examined me - was Laura Kennedy. She was SO SWEET. If bedside manner was an award, she'd have a trophy room. She was kind, friendly, funny, personable, and made me feel comfortable. I've seen quite a few different doctors in other places over the years, but none of them provided me with the level of care and kindness that Laura did! I wish I listened to the bad reviews. I've been going here for a few months with Dr Laura Kennedy for my PCOS. She is a cool person but didn't seem to care about my issue. I was newly diagnosed at the time so I naturally had a lot of general questions and she literally told me to "look it up" because she obviously wasn't aware of PCOS even though many people have it. I felt rushed throughout my visits and was almost rescheduled because "they haven't received my bloodwork" when quest did in fact have it ready for me on my account. Be ready to vouch for yourself because otherwise, you won't get anything out of your appointment. I tried asking my doctor what supplements I should take and what lifestyle changes I should make and she kept telling me to look up what other people take like I couldn't do that for free. Then of course she slapped birth control in my face and told me to see her when I want to get pregnant. After personal researching, I found out this is a common experience for people with PCOS and something to look out for in a "bad doctor." Also yes, the waiting room takes a while. Just called today (3/15) to make an appointment, as their website says that the physicians here take my insurance and are accepting new patients. Literally was told that they are scheduled for the entire YEAR for annual checkups. LOL. That is functionally the same thing as ... not accepting new patients. So don't waste your time on hold with them if that's what you're looking for. Basically if you have a condition that they can charge $$$$ for - they have time for you. Today I took my daughter for her first female doctor appt.. Everyone was professional, friendly and customer service oriented. The Phlebotomist (Eliada) was such a pleasure to interact with. She was very friendly & compassionate. She made my daughter comfortable right away. My daughter got a little light headed after her blood draw so Eliada went the extra mile to make sure she was ok. She stayed in our room and got her juice & crackers and waited until she finished and felt normal before she went onto her next patient. Thank you to Eliada for going the extra mile. Felt like a thing to be shuffled though their system. Went there with a potentially serious problem and they never even knew who I was on any of the return visits or what was going on with me. And after six visits when I finally asked for birth control they denied me. Which made me a angry that they couldn't treat me like a person, so I did send them an angry email with one bad word in it, and they fired me as a patient. So I basically had six appointments and spent over $1000 with them couldn't get birth control and could not get my GYN problem addressed. Place sucks. read more

Stay away from this place!! Called the day of my appointment to tell me that both of the ultrasound techs would be out and that they would need to reschedule until next week. I said that's not going to work because I need to have emergency surgery because I'm having issues and would like to find out if I have cancer or not. Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Nuspel is who I saw this time and she is beyond wonderful. She is professional and answered all my questions with expertise! We had a horrible visit to the point that we have reached out to our insurance to transfer immediately to a different practice. We came here 4 years ago for our first child. Everything was fine then. As. 39 year old, it's a little nerve wracking switching gyno's so I was a little edgy. I was scheduled with the NP Laura Kennedy and she was running late. I won't lie...I was irritated because I was waiting awhile. I gotta say that man was it worth the wait! She is AWESOME. Extremely down to earth, easy to talk to and has an actual sense of humor! I don't know about their doctors but the receptionist is such a discriminator and unprofessional. It hasn't been a long time since I moved to the US so I am not really familiar with the health insurance system or terms. I was making an appointment on the phone and when I re-asked about the term she used because I was not sure about it, she sighed as if I am so pathetic. It was not only about the term. I am new to Dallas area so when she asked me some questions about which locations I want to visit I just told her I am not familiar with the locations very well so somewhere close to where I live. She slightly sighed again. When the world is becoming global like these days you don't act like that. If you want to be professional make it perfect. If not and if you don't want to accept any aliens as patients just say it loud. Wife had an appointment here for in-arm birth control 2-3 weeks ago. The admitting nurse failed to mention it's a 2 step process and as well not asking for insurance over the phone. Was told they would run the insurance, order the meds and call back a week later to schedule second appointment. Wife calls a week later and no one knows anything. And arguing for an hr turns out the ball was dropped somewhere but there are no openings there. Schedule her an appointment for prosper location. Then the day of cancel and don't reschedule. And to top of off the won't give her another Rx for birth control even though they screwed up. This place is a joke with no communication. So now we're out BC for at least 6 weeks. As no one has openings and wife's company switching insurance at the end of the month. I never write reviews, good or bad. But this is so infuriating I can't not write a review. read more

I've given up on Adriatica WH. I love Liz Marley & have seen her for a few years now, but it's impossible to get an appointment with ANYONE at this office. I had an important issue I wanted to see someone for and after multiple attempts for an appointment, I was seen & got my blood test results from ANOTHER provider before I could even get an a call back from AWH. I have a friend who has had the same problem for appointments. They're good about the annual well woman's exam, but God forbid you need this place for an actual issue. VERY disappointed and will be changing offices for good, even though this one is only 2 miles from home for me. read more

I've been going to Dr. Banks since 2001 when I was pregnant with my first daughter when her office was at Medical City McKinney. Saw Dr. Banks for my annuals and 2nd pregnancy in 2005 when her office was next to Medical City and have continued to be seen by several other doctors/nurse practitioners as well throughout the years at the Adriatica location. My daughter saw Dr. Kidd for her pregnancy this past year and was I was able to go with her to all her appointments/delivery and witness how awesome this office is, as well as their Prosper location. Yes, they are a busy practice and we had to wait a bit for a few of the appointments but the patient care my daughter received was what I remembered when I went through my pregnancies. Was it frustrating to have to reschedule an appointment or to have to wait a while in the waiting room, of course but things happen. Workers get sick and call in, babies need to be delivered, tornado sirens going off and they had to send everyone to the basement causing a delay, icy weather shuts office down (all things that caused delays/rescheduling during my daughter's appointments) .... stuff happens. I've always felt welcomed and comfortable, staff is always friendly and compassionate. Overall love this office and will continue refer anyone needing an OBGYN to them. read more

I finally had to leave this office. It was recommended to me when I moved here 3 years ago so I tried them. The first doctor I had was nice but dismissive. When I questioned a medicine I was on, she said, "just go off and see how you feel." Uh, no thanks. 2nd doctor I saw was also nice but I didn't think we shared the same philosophy on my care.
