Then my confidentiality got broken somehow when one of her BFFs who was a CPS worker happened to get in my life and they talked about me without any form of consent. In fact, half of the shit were lies or exaggerated info and Sophie took it upon herself to not believe me. That was when I exited that practice. I also remember when I was pregnant, I wanted to get off Valium due to the effects to pregnancy. I had been on Valium for over 20 years at that time. They dropped me SO fast and unsafely. I was prescribed 10mg 3x a day which is quite high. Then they detoxed me in about 4 days. It was ROUGH. I had major panic attacks to the point of driving to them begging them to do a slower taper or give me a one time dose. They wouldn't do so. They also won't see you without a card on file or paying first and they charge you for every little damn thing. I don't know why after pregnancy and birth I came back to her. I drove to the hospital to bring the medication myself, but after waiting about 40 minutes, asking multiple times for assistance, and requesting to speak with a supervisor, no one ever came to help. I eventually had to leave with the medication, which meant my loved one went without a medication that had already been prescribed. What frustrates me most is not the inconvenience to me. It is that a patient went without needed medication because the process broke down. Better communication and a little urgency could have prevented the entire situation. I have filed a formal patient grievance because I believe this needs to be addressed. If you are considering entrusting the care of a loved one to this facility, I would encourage you to do your homework and carefully consider your options. Based on my experience, I believe you can likely find better care elsewhere.

She denied me help and told me to find another therapist when I was in crisis asking for help. She is only interested in filling her pockets and don't care to help the client. Only 2 sessions and no help at all. She is not skilled with PTSD, trauma, or depression. Look elsewhere and save yourself and wallet undue hardship. License therapists are supposed to help, not exasperate the clients condition and hurt them adding more trauma, abuse, and neglect.

The people at Total Mental Wellness act like they genuinely care about you and it's not just their job. I am grateful to have found them. They are also very responsive in returning calls.

It is easy to get an appointment. The office staff are exceptional and very responsive. Highly recommend.
