WORST experience ever with any doctor's office and my first ever review. During my first…read moreappointment with Dr. Luciani, he talked the whole time to the point where I forgot most of my questions, he literally answered a legitimate medical question with "because you're crazy", he commented on a laboring mom in his care who had refused Pitocin and a c-section after a long and painful over 20-hour labor saying "but of course my patients know better than that," and I had no time to ask about a medication that he prescribed me at the tail-end 2 minutes of the appointment. Nevertheless, I tried to dismiss his jokes and comments as humor, and I later asked the receptionists if it would be possible to come back for a further and more in-depth appointment with Dr. Luciani, as I had only spent maybe 15 minutes with him, if that. Obviously, I still had various questions about his philosophies, statistics, and standard of care. I'm supposed to decide after 10-15 minutes who is bringing my first baby into the world? They acted again, as they did in all except one of my experiences with their receptionists, beyond rude, treating me as if my request was completely unreasonable. They directed me to his bio page on their website, which I informed them I had obviously already read in detail. They eventually told me "We don't do that", regarding my request for an extended appointment, to which I asked the same question I've proposed in this review, "So you're telling me I'm supposed to commit to this doctor bringing my child into the world when I've spent maybe 10-15 minutes with him? I have no idea how he feels about c-sections, induction, or whether he requires moms to birth on their backs. I know literally nothing about this doctor outside of his view on vaccines." They told me that they would have an office manager call me back. Surprise, surprise. They never did. Nevertheless, even after all of this, I went back for several more appointments. I really appreciated his stance on vaccines and thought that it would be difficult to find another OBGYN who wouldn't push my boundaries on vaccination, and I just really hoped that things would get better here. They did not. During my second sonogram appointment that was scheduled with Dr. Luciani, I was informed when I arrived that I would not be seeing the doctor anymore and would be seeing a sonographer instead. They also changed the timing of this appointment on the day of and only notified me of this change by email. During my appointment with the sonographer, who was genuinely so sweet and so kind, I asked if I could FaceTime my husband, who was unable to make this particular appointment. As it was my second sonogram, and the first one where the baby looks more like a baby and less like an alien, we were both really excited about it. The sonographer kindly informed me of a facility policy where patients are unable to record or photograph any sonograms unless the doctor is present. Therefore, because my doctor missed my appointment for some unknown reason, my husband didn't get to see the first sonogram where our baby was actually actively moving. As if this wasn't enough, the nurse practitioner that I frequently saw was exceedingly rude, and never told me that the genetic testing I was having done would contain my baby's gender. Therefore, I opened my patient portal results one morning to find out that surprise! Baby is a boy! Which completely ruined the gender reveal dinner that my husband and I had planned for the two of us. I could go on and on! They had TWO people call me once after doing my bloodwork and said that it was "urgent" that I call them back. Obviously, I'm freaking out when I get their voicemails, thinking they've discovered my baby had Down syndrome or another genetic abnormality. I spent 45 minutes trying to get ahold of them, only to finally be told that my results were normal! Are you kidding me? Another separate time, they called and left me a voicemail after hours on a Friday to speak to me about my lab results. Obviously, if you're calling me an hour after closing on a Friday, I'm going to be concerned that something is terribly wrong. I called back, couldn't get through to anyone, so I selected the option for the on-call midwife. After 20 minutes, I'm finally able to get in touch with her, and she lets me know that she doesn't have access to my records and that I'll have to check Monday, but that it's probably nothing and that sometimes people work late to finish updating patients on lab results. While I appreciated her reassurance, it really didn't do much for me, because, again, I'm still going to have to wait until Monday to hear about these results. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! Go see Dallas Women's Wellness, they're AMAZING. They take an hour in the first appointment to answer all your questions. They're so kind, they're a midwifery within a hospital if you want the best of both worlds, and they offer water birth! Best experience there so far.

I met Dr. Havemann who was able to review my HSG results and create a game plan for me. It was the first time o felt heard since 21 when I originally started my journey of trying to figure out why my cycles were so irregular and painful. Turns out I had stage 4 endometriosis and damaged tubes by the time I met Dr. Havemann. She referred me to Dr. Valenti to perform the procedure and I feel better now at 36 than I did at 26. We have met several times to discuss next steps and she explains them to me beautifully. I walk away feeling heard and seen and that is huge to me when finding a fertility team. We started my IVF cycle and mid way realized something needed to change. Even if IVF isn't successful for me I finally have my life back after getting my endometriosis removed and my damaged tubes taken care of this past year. The McKinney office is super clean and the staff is friendly. Everyone greets you with a smile from the financial side to the front office employees that check you in. My husband and I feel very taken care of and that we have a team of people who will do the work to figure the root cause and create a solution that we feel comfortable with as a couple. Dr. Havemann gave me my life back and that is something that 10 doctors prior to her weren't able to do! As a women I usually would here from OBGYNs that "I needed to work out more" "lose more weight" or "this could be a form of anxiety" How am I supposed to work out more when I have debilitating menstrual cycles? Thank you Dr. Havemann for knowing that I wasn't exaggerating my pain. Due to you listening to me I am able to exercise, be more active, and take control over my life now. I am currently down 60 lbs since December 2024 and that makes a huge different in living life!

I want to start by saying I love the front desk staff and the nurse who worked me up…read more I was a first time patient and had completed my paperwork ahead of time. Signed in and was waiting in the empty lobby for 45 minutes. I then was brought back to the room and waited 30 minutes or more after the nurse did her work up. I was not checked in on once or told how much longer the wait would be. Dr. Boyd comes in and sits down in the chair across from me. She then wanted to review my medical history. It was completely inaccurate. I had spent 25 minutes writing down my detailed family history prior to my appointment as required and she was repeating it incorrectly. I then corrected her politely and she "fixed it." She then said I was here for my hormone evaluation panel and I agreed and she just ordered the labs. She did not ONCE examine me or take a look at the areas I was concerned about (even tho that was why I was there). I was told they do not do labs in office and had to obtain them and return in a month to review the results (which is fine). I was then checked out. About 2 weeks later I received the EOB from my insurance and she billed a moderate visit that cost my insurance $600 dollars and I had to pay $175. I went to look at my chart summary and the medical history was STILL wrong after Dr. Boyd "fixed it" in the exam room with me. She had completely incorrect diagnosis of cancer for my family and had random diagnoses for my father (that I did not report and he does not have). My occupation was also wrong (despite filling it in myself online as instructed beforehand like the rest of the paperwork). I have never given a provider a poor review before but the lack of detail and absolutely NO physical exam by her was not ok. I am seeing another OBGYN next week who I hope cares more than Dr. Boyd. Please go see another provider and avoid this practice. I paid my fee but I will not be returning.

Beware of your time, scheduling nightmares, and lack of office efficiency…read more I first spoke with Dr. Liaci mid January for our first consult. It had to be rescheduled and pushed back several times due to the doctor's "busy" schedule. We spoke for an hour and I was very optimistic that she could provide great care in the areas of concern. I was a little surprised at the initial fee of $400, but thought she's going to help me. I had my blood drawn soon after and waited for the office to notify me. After many weeks I had to reach out several times regarding my blood work results. I was told this was a "provider" issue, basically the doctor is too busy. I was finally scheduled an appointment for the end of March. I received a call on the day of the appointment that the doctor would be running late and could we push the appointment out another hour. I agreed, but made it clear I did not have the extra time to wait once I arrived. I arrived on time and waited an hour. The doctor still had not shown up, so I had to leave. I received no calls to follow up on my appointment. I called the next week and the secretary was surprised the doctor hadn't called me. I was not. She called 2 days later at 8 in the evening to tell me how busy she's been working at the hospital and that she didn't mean to make me feel invaluable. She proceeded to tell me about my blood work results and then message got cut off. I called to see how I was supposed to proceed and got no answer. At this point I feel the doctor did not follow through with her promises and believe I deserve my money back as I received zero care and a lot of hassle. The secretary is also hostile and is obviously tired of dealing with disgruntled patients as I'm sure this is a regular occurrence. As a patient who is currently 35 weeks pregnant, I find myself in an extremely difficult situation due to what I believe are substantial communication failures and billing discrepancies on the part of your practice. Until recently, I had received excellent care and maintained a positive relationship with your office. At the beginning of my pregnancy, I was provided with a financial agreement, which I signed and have been fulfilling through regular payments according to the agreed-upon terms. I was on track to complete my payment obligations, with only one payment remaining after my scheduled January 15th appointment. However, at that appointment, I was presented with a significantly higher balance and a new financial agreement without any prior notification or explanation. When I arrived prepared to make my scheduled payment, I was informed of this unexpected change. Despite the apparent miscommunication originating from your office, I was denied treatment unless I paid the new, substantially higher amount. No reasonable payment arrangement was offered, despite my advanced stage of pregnancy and urgent need for prenatal care. Most concerning is that your office has since refused to complete my FMLA maternity leave paperwork, citing that I am now considered an "inactive patient" because I did not pay at the appointment where I was refused service. This places me in an untenable position professionally and medically. I believe that once a financial agreement is established and signed by both parties, it should be honored regardless of internal administrative errors. I should not be penalized for billing discrepancies that were not of my making, particularly at this critical stage of my pregnancy. I am stuck in a very stressful situation. I strongly urge other expectant mothers to request detailed documentation of all financial agreements and to seek regular clarification on billing matters to avoid finding themselves in similar circumstances. This situation requires immediate resolution, and I expect your practice to honor the original financial agreement and provide the necessary medical documentation for my maternity leave.
